1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Oyster Pearl scam on: April 09, 2018, 06:41:07 PM
I am a full supporter of Oyster, buying some more PRLs and try to convince everyone that this is one of the best crypto project in the market.
Let's see what happens in the next few days when the Oyster Shell snapshot and airdrop.
I would decide to dump my PRL no matter what the price value.
This made me sad, really indeed
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we should be careful about Private Sales on: April 09, 2018, 06:25:18 PM
Today, most of them have started to onboard blockchain startups into their portfolio and even launch token sales; look at YCombinator's LiveEdu or Union Square Venture's investment in Filecoin.

Institutional investors prefer to enter the cap table at an early stage - before a public sale occurs. As such, this practice gives bargaining power to institutional investors and reduces their risks drastically.

1. Lack of transparency repels smart investors.
The practice of not disclosing private sale valuations introduces a series of structural problems:
Will the valuation drastically increase between the private and public sale? Are private sale investors looking to have a short-term exit? Has the private sale been engineered to guarantee fast and profitable exit?

2. Different valuation but same stage of development?
Private sales often occur weeks before the public one. Since most of initial coin offerings involve product-less start-ups (and therefore pre-product market fit startups), there is no significant difference regarding the stage of product development between a private and a public sale.

3. Against the blockchain ideology.
In the event of an opaque private sale valuation, smart investors would never chip in, as the risk of a significant valuation delta is considerable. Public sale investors are reluctant to significant changes in valuations and most importantly, to be the last ICO investor.

4. Benefits of Private sales.
First, it gives credibility to a blockchain start-up. Secondly, private sale investors can provide non-financial investment to the project. Finally, Initial Coin Offerings are resource-draining financial instruments that have high capital and operations expenditures, especially with marketing and promotion. Kickstarting an ICO is therefore costly, and private sale investors can fill the liquidity gap.

Do you think private sales add value to an ICO?
private sale < public sale?

I see, thanks for this points and it's a great reminder that not all private sales are of worth our investments because it does have to many risks other than investing volatile cryptocurrency.
Investors should bump on this thread so that they will also learn this key points before investing their own favorite altcoins in the crypto market today.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS ICO SCAM 👺👺👺 Wow! Can you believe this? 👺👺👺 on: April 09, 2018, 06:20:03 PM
Lol, EOS is the the top ERC20 platform Altcoin today that's why it sets on the 6th mo strongest Cryptocurrency in the market today.
I owned less than hundred EOS coins today and I know it will soon surge and the people who are saying its a scam will no have the right to take on board of EOS' success.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will alternative cyptocurrencies over? on: April 09, 2018, 06:16:39 PM
Who are altcoin lovers here?

According to a group of analysts at Fundstrat, they stated bear market for alt-coins, or alternative cyptocurrencies, is largely over. After a 75% decline in Alt-coins since 1/13/18, our alt-coin indicator ("% of alt-coins rising >200% in past 90D, or 3X) now sits at 3%, suggesting the bulk of the alt-coin retracement is done-in other words, we believe the alt-coin bear market is largely over.

Probably we can see some more fall down until the closing of some altcoins.  Only great ones will survive then.

Any thoughts on this?

My answer is No because Cryptocurrency cannot stand on its own without altcoins like Ethereum.
Nobody will trust Bitcoin alone without the other existing altcoins and most of the altcoins today have their own crypto projects so the price value does not depend on Bitcoin's market value but with the project as well.
Top altcoins are being supported by most of the crypto enthusiasts and not only Bitcoin are being invested and traded today but also altcoins as well.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: April 09, 2018, 06:06:58 PM
In this case one has to look for coin with lowest rate ,and it must have shown some good heights in near future also.

Many who have missed this opportunity when the Crypto Market will get back it's highest market cap in the next few months.
Today is the best time to buy more while they are all cheap and on sale because when we are in the future, we should regret when we look back at the price values of our coins.
Buying today will offer us higher income and return of investments in the next few months or even a year.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: April 09, 2018, 06:04:03 PM
Yeah, now it is a really very suitable time to buy altcoin because of very low price and future apportunities to grow fast and rapidly. Don’t lose your chance!

Investors are indeed buying their favorite coins today so if I do have enough money to buy more of my favorite altcoins then I should choose my favorite altcoins that are Oyster, Ripple, NEO and other Top altcoins like Tron etc.
This time or this quarter is the best time to buy more coins before the crypto market recovers.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: April 09, 2018, 05:57:19 PM
What altcoins are you guys picking up for cheap in this dip?

First of all, I'm going to choose to altcoins like Ripple, NEO and Bitcoin Cash because they are already on top and will be soon rise more when the Crypto Market recovers its market cap.
Secondly, Oyster Pearl PRL is one of the most important Crypto projects today and I am the supporter of Oyster since last year.
I should buy Ripple, NEO, Bitcoin Cash and Oyster in the next few days if I earn my next allowance and salary this month.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: April 09, 2018, 05:53:12 PM
There is no future, all crypto will die soon, also stock will die and the whole financial market will die, yeah that is the future, we we do not have to have them.  Grin Grin

I disagree, I don't think and believe that crypto will die within our lifetime because I do believe that this is the future and we are already using the future of our money, trade and economy.
Until we die, the world would be using Cryptocurrency as part of their daily life.
This Crypto is the best thing happened in my life since last year. This is the future and won't die.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins are now dying, what do you think? on: April 09, 2018, 05:50:04 PM
The entire market is in the red. Everyone has lost money. What do you think?

I know it's normal they every coin are in their red days because before the pump there will be a sudden drop before the rise.
Consider it Tsunami, the shore will be first empty before the final tide, as last year's October every Bitcoin and altcoins are dropping then suddenly flash the rise after a couple of months that Bitcoin almost reach the average of almost $20,000.
Red is ok, that's why hold your coins to save it from crypto dropping.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS CRYPTO TRADING ADDICTION? on: April 02, 2018, 05:19:44 PM
Crypto trading can be an addiction to some people, just like gambling is.  Investing in crypto, stocks, and gambling whether it's online or in a casino all have the potential to be a problem with people who don't have enough self control to do it responsibly.

well, crypto trading is better than gambling because on gambling at any point of time you'll lose 100% of your capital but unlike crypto trading, you'll only lose a portion of it because Crypto is all about increasing and declining in price values therefore you only lose the decrease portion of value and not the total capital you had invested.
it could be addicting too if you always gain profits so if you think you are skilled enough to trade then go ahead, there are so much lessons should be learned along the way.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS CRYPTO TRADING ADDICTION? on: April 02, 2018, 05:17:02 PM
I heard about a guy in Moscow, who jumped out of the window, because he lost all his money in crypto investments and trading. So, do we have a new free heroin here? Is it possible to get addicted to crypto?

for me, it depends on your score because people who always earn money and made their Crypto Assets grow should be addicted.
I haven't tried to trade off my altcoins and invest into some more promising Altcoins but instead I am investing promising new altcoins out of my hard-earned money.
If trading works for you then you'll be lucky because Crypto enthusiasts will be soon engaging crypto trading just to make their Crypto Assets growing in numbers and values.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the top 10 coins on coinmarketcap will change during this year? on: April 02, 2018, 05:14:05 PM
I think Yes, because there's no permanent in this world.
Top altcoins will keep changing over time because each coin cannot guarantee that it will be placed on fix rank because it depends on the crypto market and people will decide what would be the next series of top Altcoin in coinmarketcap.com in next few weeks or months.
Just like Ripple had overtaken Ethereum for almost a week but still Ethereum had raised back to the second seat as the highest market cap coin in the market.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With how much should i start on: April 02, 2018, 05:00:54 PM
How much do i need to start trading altcoins. I would like to know what would be the ideal number.

There's no ideal fix amount on starting crypto investments as long as you're willing to throw your hard earned money and invest on the altcoins you love then you'll be fine.
even $10 will do and the more you invest the more you gain profits just like gambling.
Investing Crypto is the most profitable this year while the crypto market is dropping and me myself in investing on some of my favorite altcoins like Oyster Pearl PRL, WePower and Envion.
Investing altcoins this season will offer higher return of investments because they're all cheap especially top altcoins like Etheruem, Ripple, NEO, Monero and other promising top altcoins in the market.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am surprised !!! I am confused what is happening right now. on: April 02, 2018, 04:56:27 PM
I guess this happen because of crowd's panic. People bought BTC for $ 19k  see it's decrease to $ 10 k , sell it, and that caused  BTC go down even more.

normally if there's huge decline then people are suspecting the whales are responsible for the the game.
although partly true but I don't think someone or some groups are manipulating it because this year there are full of FUDs and FOMOs that been affecting the entire crypto market to fall over 70% from it's highest market cap this early January before the market declined continuously.
the only option I Have is to hold my Crypto Assets and not to sell them off out of panic.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am surprised !!! I am confused what is happening right now. on: April 02, 2018, 04:50:12 PM
there are too many reasons, factors and strings that affects the crypto market to crash and it's really indeed hurtful that most of the investors and holders aren't gaining profits anymore due to massive decline of the crypto market capitalization.
There's nothing wrong on holding our crypto assets and waiting for the crypto market to recover and when it happens then surely all of us will get higher amount of rewards because we choose to not to let go of our crypto assets but instead wait and observe how the market recovers.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens with ETH on: April 02, 2018, 04:47:10 PM
Can anybody tell me what happen with eth now?Huh

Like any coin, Ethereum was influenced by the negative market. But now things are getting better and maybe starting to recover. It remains to see what will happen.  Smiley

nobody knows what would happen next in crypto market that's why we are all relying on the free market to decide whether we drop or pump.
Ethereum really dropped badly together with Bitcoin but that doesn't mean that they will all stay on the ground for a long time. of course there would be a major set back thus holders will get higher profits when they take advantage this massive dump season.
Ethereum will soon rise, if not today but not forever.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens with ETH on: April 02, 2018, 04:44:35 PM
Seems like it will touch USD 300 soon...god save ETH

some said that Bitcoin will soon touch back $1,000 in the next few weeks so let us see. if it does then possibility would be Ethereum will touch the lowest possible ground as well.
We are just hoping that we are already on the rock bottom so that the crypto market will then recover to it's normal state just like the crypto market cap of almost $900 billion this early year.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens with ETH on: April 02, 2018, 04:42:27 PM
Can anybody tell me what happen with eth now?Huh

If Bitcoin dropped then Ethereum and almost all altcoins are dropping as well because the crypto market is being led by Bitcoin and most of the altcoins are being paired with BTC and not by USD so it's pretty normal that everything on the crypto market will be dragged down together with Bitcoin.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will blockchain kill traditional banking? on: March 01, 2018, 06:27:40 PM
Banking will never die. Just there will be a choice of conducting calculations:
1. In the traditional way through bank;
2. By means of cryptocurrencies.
Well and of course at cryptocurrency of an opportunity will be much wider.

There are certain things that banking could offer that isn't available in blockchain.
Like, cash loans as used as a capital for businesses or personal projects like home renovations, buying a new car and other services.
Although some blockchain are offering lending Cryptos to people but the local banks could offer more to their clients especially on KYC requirements.
Blockchain can replace the banking system but not fully. There are still huge gap between banking and Blockchain.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will blockchain kill traditional banking? on: March 01, 2018, 06:24:19 PM
Eventually banks will embrace Blockchain and use it to their advantage (don't know about BTC specically tho). But blockchain will require a HUGE increase in efficiency before it becomes commonplace.

I agree with the statement. Banking will adapt blockchain into their banking services because In the future we don't need banks to secure our money because our assets will be right on our digital key files and or hardware wallets.
even the world is adapting fully into blockchain but certainly there are still more reasons why we need the banks especially on money loans so that we could get capital for our business and personal projects.
