1  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: how to link a valid blockchain adress to an empty wallet on: November 03, 2017, 08:46:07 AM
Find the Settings on the left part of your screen after logging in on your new blockchain wallet. A small list should open go click addresses then you should find all the addresses there including the import bitcoin address just put the private key there and press import. The request button is beside the send button you can check your imported address there.

Thanks dear you suggest i good way and i tried it
...and it works !

i suggest your explanation could be pointed out in a tuto place. that's very helpful and not so easy to handle without any explanations.
thanks again mate. Smiley

If you have your Bitcoins on a paper wallet, it’s a little trickier but it can be done. In this case, I suggest that you set up a wallet on Blockchain.info and link your paper wallet address to this wallet. Then follow the instructions to send to your final destination. Let me know if you need more detailed instructions, and I can walk you through it.

thank you dear, i think you understood. presently my bitcoins are not in a wallet, just have the keys, my adress is valid and confirmed, and i have both public and private key. so it looks like same situation as if i had a paper wallet (?). i think i match with such case.

i fount solution with the help of someone here
solution is :
"Find the Settings on the left part of your screen after logging in on your new blockchain wallet. A small list should open go click addresses then you should find all the addresses there including the import bitcoin address just put the private key there and press import. The request button is beside the send button you can check your imported address there."

First make sure what you have, a private key for bitcoin address where you have sent bitcoin or an old blockchain wallet where you have bitcoin right now which you want to  move to another new blockchain wallet?

thank you for answer
I have my private key, yes
I see my balance, that's ok
i don't know how to find IMPORT button or REQUEST button, as all wallets seems to use only a destination adress to send to the 'provider' of btc

So I'm guessing this personal wallet [Wallet B] and personal blockchain.info [Wallet A] is not the same right? and you're planning to send your bitcoins from wallet A to wallet B? You can send them as soon as the parent transaction have been confirmed (It is the bitcoin you've sent from the trading site)

thanks for your answer
you understood right, but all wallets receive BTC using a destination adress, how can i specify my BTC adress and where ?
i tried on Blochain.info and on BitGo and don't find any solution
i suppose i should use my private key but where and how to ?

Hi, I have a problem that I can not handle on my own as i m a bit newbie

shorty said it is "how to link a valid blockchain adress to an empty wallet"

in details my situation is following :
- I have sent my BTC from trading website to a personal blockchain address as I can verify it on a link https: //blockchain.info/address/... that's ok, the adress is valid and i have private keys.
- I just created personal wallet and it is empty for now. How will i send my BTC from my blockchain to wallet ?
- All wallets specify destination adress, and cannot "fish" my blochain adress so ?

help please

thank for replying to me

maybe i did a mistake as i sent BTC from a trade platform to a Blockchain adress before having a Wallet

- I created a private adress using bitaddress.org
- i sent my BTC from trading platform declaring this adress as destination
- i created an empty wallet later
- now i wonder how to send from my blochain adress to the wallet
