Enhanced verification, name mismatch

I have been enhanced verified all these while and even withdraw some btc last week but when i logged in this morning, i was shocked to see that my withdrawal limit became 0. Does anyone have this problem? I just submitted a support ticket, hope it gets resolved soon.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UK threatens to shut down BitConnect on: December 04, 2017, 11:07:03 PM
Great news that the authorities are stepping in to stop this ponzi scheme! Bitconnect should no longer tarnish the reputation of cryptocurrencies and to think it was even top 10 at some time! A lot of noobs must have been scammed by Bitconnect and youtubers who shill Bitconnect are scums (dont even know how they wake up every morning without feeling guilty)
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long since you entered the crypto market on: December 04, 2017, 11:01:10 PM
I entered near the end of May this year which is sort of the start of the bull run on ethereum when i went big on. The profits were great but what sucked me into trading other coins were the potential and the technology underlying them. After much research, everything was pretty fascinating to me and made me glad that i discovered this gem early like the rest of us here and it will be a great journey ahead of us!  Smiley
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can i trust EtherDelta with my Private Keys ? on: December 04, 2017, 10:50:10 PM
Etherdelta is a great exchange for picking up ico coins before they hit the big exchanges (eg. Binance/Bittrex) My experience there was good and the reason why it needs your private key is cause it is decentralized (only you have access to your funds since it is your own wallet, the exchange does not hold your wallet). Read guides carefully on how to execute trades on the exchange as many people has horror stories on etherdelta due to fat finger orders. Just make sure u bookmark the website. DO NOT click on clicks to etherdelta especially in email where they say your etherdelta account has been hacked or something (is definitely a scam)
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fav website to follow crypto news? on: December 03, 2017, 07:47:00 AM
Coinmarketcal.com. It is a website where people contribute by posting events of any coin. You cant really keep track of news of every coin so this is a great way to find if there are any upcoming news on coins that you are invested/interested in. Beware of fake events though, always check the proof and source.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it good to invest kyber network(KNC) on: December 03, 2017, 07:38:38 AM
One of the DEXes that could have huge potential with VB on advisor board. They are actively securing partnerships with many icos while developing their exchange interface & functions (check github) to prepare for the main net launch in Feb 2018, definitely a good time to accumulate now. There are regular updates too.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: December 03, 2017, 07:27:24 AM
Just hold both. Bitcoin - store of value (digital gold) and Ethereum - platform with big organizations behind it (EEA) and dApps building on it. 2018 will be a exciting year for Ethereum with all the icos coming live with their products which will see many use cases of ethereum popping up.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who uses myetherwallet? on: December 03, 2017, 07:18:06 AM
Great wallet and user-friendly. Most ppl go-to wallet to store ERC20 Tokens and Ethereum. Sometimes there are even free airdrops just by having ETH in your wallet! Just make sure to never click on any links for myetherwallet in case of getting phished (bookmark it to access the site) and NEVER give away your private key!
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized Exchanges!! Who's used them? on: December 03, 2017, 07:12:05 AM
Etherdelta is quite easy to use for me as contrary to what most people say. Good exchange to sell your airdrops/bounties or pick up ico before they hit big exchanges. I used to shun Etherdelta due to the stories of people screwing up their orders but now that i have personally experienced it, it is actually quite cool and made me appreciate and understand more about the technology behind ethereum.

There are other few existing DEXes too. Check out cryptobridge (Bridgecoin). 50% of the DEX fees are distribution to those who are staking on their exchange and they have active development. Can see 2018 being the year of DEXes rising as centralized exchanges are losing trust of customers, it is better for us to manage our own funds.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 15k to invest - how would YOU spread it on: December 03, 2017, 05:33:27 AM
Depending on your risk appetite and investment time horizon. If you have big risk appetite, your % attributed to btc in your portfolio will be lower, vice versa. It is a must to have btc in your portfolio to catch dips or ride the pumps. (Hard lesson for me) Look up on the top 30 cryptos and see which one you like. It would be good to attribute a % to ETH and LTC in your portfolio. For big risk takers, you can look into mid to low caps (higher upside but also higher risk, after all, this is a speculative space) For investment time horizon, if you are going for short term flips, look out for coins with news which would usually pump the price up and sell before the news hit. For long term, research deeper into coins with good fundamentals and collect them when they are in the accumulating zone (can be determined through technical analysis) Welcome to Crypto and have a great journey! Let's all make profit!  Wink
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing for the long term in an altcoin is good idea? on: December 03, 2017, 05:13:56 AM
There are many wonderful coins out there in the world of altcoins but there are also many bad apples. It will be up to your judgement to differentiate these by researching about them. Since you are targeting on a long term investment horizon, find coins that you believe that will still survive after a few years. Things to look at could be, active community, development progress and a passionate team. After finding those, you could start accumulating them at support levels. You could also separate your portfolio into different categories. An example - (privacy -> XMR/ XZC, payment - PAY, DEX -KNC/ZRX) This would help to diversify your holdings in different aspects of crypto. Have a fun journey! We are one of the early adopters and this technology is definitely here to stay!  Smiley
12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ReaderNet- A Revolution in Publishing Industry on: November 27, 2017, 04:11:32 PM
Pretty unique usage of a token! Helps to protect writers from unfair treatment from big corporations while protecting the integrity of their work. Great way for new writers who are just starting out to publish their own books easily! Looking forward to see how this project pans out!  Smiley

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO][Airdrop] StockBlock - Copyright protection & Marketplace for Media Artist on: November 20, 2017, 09:26:53 AM
Artists these days don't get enough protection and recognition for their work due to copyright infringement. I believe that with the solution that Stockblock has to offer, it could help to solve this problem and allow artists to showcase their talent without fear of getting credit stolen from someone else. Stockblock could become the main platform for artists to transact with interested buyers with cheap and fast transaction cost/speed while ensuring that their work is secured and protected.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟[ANN][ICO]🌟BLOCKARRAY⚡SUPPLY & LOGISTICS BLOCKCHAIN⚡USA BASED⚡GS1 CERTIFIED on: November 16, 2017, 01:58:32 AM
Informative whitepaper which show the uses cases and benefits of this project in the supply & logistics industry and how they go about doing it. Roadmap with all the milestones listed gives a sign that they are serious about this and are dedicated to investors' interests. Excited to see where this project goes in the future, especially next year when deliverables are met! Will keep a lookout on it.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: November 13, 2017, 08:12:22 AM
I could definitely see ETH bringing awareness to altcoins and leading the mass adoption in the future. It has the EEA behind it and with so many icos leveraging on the features of the platform and working on their product release, once products start to go live, it will increase the uses cases for ETH and the mainstream adoption will come.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SAFEST ALTCOINS TO INVEST IN? on: November 13, 2017, 08:01:40 AM
I would definitely recommend OMG.

They are a legit company established since 2013 (so they have experience in the industry) which provides online payment solution already used by thousands of customers and has lots of big strategic partnerships in Japan and Thailand where their current target market is Asia which is a good sign. They are very ambitious looking at their roadmap as their main goal is to build their own blockchain. Year 2018 will be a great year for OMG as there are many milestones to be met such as the white label wallet SDK introducing the programming framework which would lower entry barrier for developers looking into blockchain technology, Proof of stake which gives incentive for token holders (will gain a % of transaction fees on the OMG network), first project to implement PLASMA technology which would greatly improve scability which allows the network to handle high volume transaction at an amazing speed which makes it's network efficiency comparable to VISA.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: November 11, 2017, 12:23:36 AM
Yes. It is the one of the most established cryptocurrency with the EEA behind, personally think that it will lead the revolution and mass adoption by the real world. Of course, there are some mishaps along the way since the technology is still quite new. Most ICOs are building on the platform and once they go live, it will increase the usecases for ETH while ETH improves the platform.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5000 USD on: November 11, 2017, 12:00:43 AM
It actually depends on your risk appetite.

Mid caps to low caps altcoins have higher upside but also higher risk

High caps have lower upside but also lower risk

If you would like to hold for long term, i would suggest putting in coins that you think are likely to survive in the future since most coins will be wiped out in the next few years. Only the legitimate ones will stay. So that being said, attributing more % of your portfolio to BTC and ETH would be a 'safe' choice while the % you are willing to lose can put in altcoins for higher upside. Some promising altcoins would be KNC and ZRX (mid caps - decentralized exchanges/protocol will definitely be huge in the future), TRST (Decentralized lending platform & CEO worked in google before, great team and advised by Vitalik, platform will be out soon), EVX (Offering blockchain based microlending, remittances and merchant payments to underserved individuals and SMEs in Asia and globally - great future ahead and lower cap as compared to OMG)

There are many more interesting altcoins to look at, take your time to explore this young yet innovative space Smiley
