1  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Innosilicon T2T 30T Fan Speed on: October 25, 2019, 09:46:24 PM
Can you share what you did? Would love to decrease my fan speed a touch.

Code:
"fanspeed":"60"
"automatic":"manual"

60 is the percentage, choose what you see fit. To access the miner via telnet just search on youtube.
2  Bitcoin / Mining support / My miner stopped mining - Innosilicon T2THf on: October 17, 2019, 06:07:15 PM
Hi,

As the subject says my Innosilicon stopped mining. I boot the miner it does the usual checks and after ~8-10 the fans should slow down a bit and start mining but it doesn't.

Already tried reconfigure the pools, do a reset to the configs without any success. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi , the tweak is really simply ...

On the plug 4 wire on the fan (black / red / blue / yellow) ... unplug ONLY the blue wire , and connect this on GND on miner (directely on psu or black wire on fan) and interpose a potentiometer (between black and blue wire) for adjuste speed Wink

Does the fan needs the blue and yellow wires to work properly? Can I unplug these two wires and put a potentiometer in the red and black wires?

Might be beneficial to some to share that work flow.

I'd just want some good auto tuning FW, probably just hard since new units come by half a dozen a year now.

I’m using hive OS and in the configurations changed the fan speed. Can you post a photo of your noctua connection so I can do the same on miner?

Hi,

I managed to change the fan speed via telnet directly into the miner configuration file.
Does anyone knows if it’s possible to change the fan speed one by one rather than all at the same time?

Thanks!

Hi,

I want to do this tweek on my miner too. Can you post a photo or a diagram for how to connect the potentiometer?

thanks!
