1  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - free API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: November 05, 2014, 10:42:11 PM
Hi,
Played around with a local test-faucet. Here are some suggestions:

- the captcha is not centered, at least the solvemedia one.
- when clicking the home link (upper left corner, like going back from a custom page to the faucet again) it goes to the root of the domain / so if the faucet is installed in /myfaucet it does not go to the faucet
I believe it's fixed in r16: https://static.faucetbox.com/download/faucetinabox/faucetinabox-r16.zip

Quote
- display the balance on the faucet page like on a microwallet faucet.
- display the percent chance of rewards on the faucet page, also like on a MW faucet. "10*100, 1*500" displays only "100, 500 satoshi every..." no user knows how rare 500 is.
We'll implement this in near future.

Quote
- maybe the ability to manage more than one faucet in one account on faucetbox.
We'll think about it, but we won't be able to do that in this month.

The deposit fee is pretty steep. It should be a withdrawal fee instead. Faucet owners should not be punished as they are the ones that hand out free coins and promote the whole faucet network for faucetbox.
It's not a punishment Smiley. It doesn't really matter where the fee is charged, the end result is the same. If faucets have 5% less to give away, users get 5% less. If faucets have full 100%, but we take 5% on withdrawal, still users get 5% less.
However after the first transaction it looks like we'll be able to lower the fee Smiley

Thank you for your comments.

A lower fee would be nice, hope you can do that

its not an automated process. I believe is a single guy that handle everything.
So yes may take some time but believe me its worth it.

How long does it take to get approved for the API? I've submitted a request on the website, and emailed info@microwallet.com, but I have not heard anything.

when i requested key on the 10/20 it said up to 2 days, im still waiting also. just emailed a few hours ago but from what ive read someone had to wait 7 days

my site is satoshis.gratis so you can gauge when you might receive a key

censorship , really? this had to be a joke, lol

Did you read any of this thread, or did you just chime in for your 14th post?

This isn't about censorship.  It's about cleaning up the spam.  I don't even care at this point if the forum mods don't want to work towards cleaning up the crap.  However, now that I know it's possible for a member to ignore entire threads, I don't see why this shouldn't be an option for those of us who want to get past the endless pages of spammy crapcoin BS.
