I have been in cryptocurrency since 2014 but last 3 years I took a break from it. I had high hopes how it can change the financial world.

I would like to get back into it but first I would like to find out what is cryptocurrency today.

Is it just a trading commodity, long term investment or is it (very very very) slowly replacing fiat. I know there are many companies and small shops that accept cryptocurrency but is that it? Is the problem still about the speed of a transaction

Please help me catch up a little

That is right , as long as you have patience of  waiting for the bull run , the merrier of receiving such a great reward.  It is worth the wait, they said. The most kiind of strategy for investment  is to hold and invest more at the bearest time then  sell it and release it at bull run.

If that $2,500 is just your spare money then you are good to go with any of it depending on what's your crave and you know after conducting a research.

Basically with these questions I don't have to think about it as I'm about to say most of the time to invest and buy bitcoin. You don't have to think about it if you still don't have bitcoin but if you are an altcoin fan and you don't have a taste of bitcoin, why not take eth first?

Etherum is having a very bad situation now. Nearly 50 percent reduction only occurs in a few weeks. Of course this is a very difficult thing for anyone who suffers from Etherum. This is a direct loss, but when we can think more openly, we must know that the price of Etherum is very likely to increase. The quality of Etherum has been recognized by everyone and therefore Etherum has gained a very good level of public trust.
So it's not impossible that the price of Etherum will increase again.

Do not be pessimistic .Try to become positive, to have a good vive . As of now the market is very low, time to invest more.. Just have to wait for a good timing for the price increase  and sell our bitcoin

Year 2018 seems to have the most prolonged dip from what i have seen so far. Some people had serious loss along the line; some vowed never to invest in cryptocurrency again; some sold all their assets and left.
Your encounters though might seem not encouraging, but do you know that you are better of than the person that is just coming in, because of what you now know.
Let go of your mistakes, but whenever you remember them, tell yourself it is not yet over, the crypto space will still get better and you will be glad you're still in the system.

Personally , I lost nearly 1500$  from day trading. I do buy back theory now to recover the loss and invest on potential ico's. now i am going on a slowly steady way ,  if we get greedy then  we end up with nothing.

What do you do with your junk coins? almost all new Altcoin don't have good prices to make a profit.
Will there be a rule about a good project that doesn't produce junk coins? Disappointing.

IGNORANCE OF THE LAW EXCUSES NO ONE. Many Filipinos are victims of so many kinds of SCAMS because some Filipinos doesn't care about the laws. Even just a simple National Law they do not know that is why they are victimized. Like for example, before investing your money into something, we need to know the person and the company behind that investment, we must search and if we feel like we are not sure we must withdraw. We have all the right to say NO. Mahirap sa atin ( I mean to most Filipinos) do not know how to say NO. This is something we must master about for our safety na rin :-)   

Sa Patuloy na pagbaba ng presyo ng bitcoin,  kailan kaya magaganap ang bull run? Ano na kaya ang mangyayari sa next year (2019). patuloy pa kayang baba si bitcoin o magsimula na kaya siyang tumaas muli?

Just wondering, ang cryptocurrencies ba ay may tax? Ayon sa Taxation Law ng Pinas, kapag kasi ang isangahod gaya ng mga regular na nagtatrat freelancer ay lumagpas ang kinita sa PHP250,000 sa loob ng isang taon ay may kaukulan na itong tax.

This case might be sensitive pero matanong ko lang, wala pa bang kumatok sa mga bahay sa inyo ayon sa usaping ito? I mean tax evasion.

There are many ICO is running at the same time. Maximum ICO can't be success. So, if I invest in any ICO and if they can't be success then what will happen with my money? Will they give me back me my money or not? I am so confused. So, please kindly inform me.
