I think people become untrustworthy because they have an interest on things they want, they are afraid of something, people hope for higher expectation,  lying is naturally born with anyone.

Death will be short punishment for rapist because it will only end his life and the girl who is culprit of it will have to face struggle in society as well she will go through mental torture so rapist should punish by all that pain, suffered by culpitt, he should go through daily torture. moreover the best option change the gender of rapist

I guess everything will slow down when there is no internet, even death. I think we will be on the war and trading era, where everyone will do anything in order to acquire knowledge from others.
