What is every one doing for the income taxes from mining on miningpoolhub? nicehash has csv files for all the income that u can input into tax software.
you can import/enter all your stuff to this site, bitcoin.tax, and it will help you figure out what to report. i just started at the end of 2017 and only mined like ~$250 worth of coin so i'm not going to report that. however if things go well in 2018 i'll have significantly more mined and will end up reporting that. |

Hello, i have this balance:  and i have set in autoexchange to exchange to eth. Why are coins still in my normal wallet and not sent to autoexchange wallet? Dont i have enought? Thank you. did you miss the announcement at the top of the MPH page? "Siacoin, Zcash, Zclassic, wallets are under maintenance in Bittrex. Some auto exchange requests related to these currencies would be delayed" zcash and zclassic wallets are down at bittrex so your mined coins are going to your "normal" wallet right now. thats why zencash is showing correctly because its not down. once bittrex fixes their issue you can move zcash and zclassic to the auto exchange. |

I posted this on Reddit and I am going to post it here so hopefully someone can answer this for me: I mined some Maxcoin by accident and disabled it a day later in Awesome Miner. It’s set to auto exchange and most of it did. However now I have 0.04 Maxcoin under Balances (it shows as being On Exchange). It’s been there for days (going on 3 days now) and hasn’t been converted yet. When I go under my Maxcoin wallet it shows 0.00000000 as in my wallet and on the exchange. Why does balances show one thing and the wallet show something else? How do I get rid of it? I either want it auto exchanged or I want to give it to someone so it will go away. It also keeps appearing and disappearing under balances randomly. Help? Here is a picture of my Maxcoin wallet page and the balances page to show what I am referring to. Any help would be appreciated. https://imgur.com/a/C2S57maxcoin is only exchanged on Yobit, so depending on your autoexchange coin it may never get exchanged. i had the same thing happen when i started out, mined some maxcoin on accident before i turned that algo off and i have 11ish maxcoin sitting there waiting on auto exchange for 2 months now. it will never happen for me for the time being because i'm auto exchanging to vertcoin and since vertcoin isn't on yobit i won't get auto exchanged to it. i would have to switch my autoexchange to something else that MPH exchanges on yobit in order to get rid of the max coin. |

I'm already using the optimized nanashi fork What I think is happening is the displayed hashrate gradually ramps up over 20 or 30 minutes until it plateaus. I assume this is due to averaging. However if your algo is switching frequently between coins, e.g. mona and vtc then you will see the displayed hashrates bob up and down without coming close to the local hashrate. Again, I think this is just a function of the time averaging involved and it doesn't represent the actual hashrate at any given moment. I wish there was a way of setting a delay before switching coins and even better if we could disable a particular coin from being switched to. yes exactly this with the hashrate not showing. (this is directed in general not to you). it says right on the dashboard for each coin that the displayed hashrate is calculated based on shares submitted over the past 5 minutes. vert has a 2.5 minute block time and mona has 1.5 minutes, so assuming mph finds a block right on schedule your shares will ramp up and reset several times before it hits 5 minutes, so the calculation will never be accurate, plus if it switches between the 2 coins its going to still show old hashrate on the one coin while it ramps up on the other. anytime it takes mph awhile to find a block, aka 10+ minutes, thats when the hashrate finally starts showing accurately. |

i'm using vertminer for lyra2rev2 (which is a fork of ccminer that a dev for VTC did) and i can confirm that i'm showing the expected hashrate on the dashboard and am pulling in the expected amount of coins for my hashrate. plus it gets anywhere from 1% to 10% better rates than ccminer does.
i've been on MPH for about 2 months now and i have had no issues with getting all of the coins i'm expecting.
awesome news...thanks...how can i add new miner to multiminer? need help pls sorry i'm not going to be much help there, i am using awesome miner and added it to that. but the basics are its the same as ccminer but its just for lyra2rev2, so once you get it downloaded you would use the same commands as ccminer. in fact you could probably just rename it to ccminer and put it in place of your ccminer and it would be used instead. link to it here https://github.com/vertcoin/vertminer-nvidia |

Is there an issue with Maxcoin getting exchanged to other coins? Or is there a certain amount you need before it will get exchanged to another coin? I've had ~11 Maxcoin sitting ready for auto exchange for over a month now and it hasn't gone away. I did turn off mining that algo after I saw what had been mined sitting there for several days, so i haven't added anymore to it for awhile now. thanks!
What coin did you set for auto exchange target coin? Bitcoin will be safe and faster. Not sure how long it will take for other coins. Thanks for the reply, i have my auto exchange set to VertCoin. I see VertCoin isn't on YoBit and thats the only place MaxCoin is..... I assume I would need to switch to a different coin, like Ethereum, to get the MaxCoin changed to and then get it changed to VertCoin? EDIT: Or it looks like maybe DASH instead since its on all 3 exchanges? |

hi, i tried searching both google and this thread for my answer but was coming up empty  i'm currently using Awesome Miner to mine to mining pool hub with profit switching with a couple of low end Nvidia cards. I might be buying an AMD card to add to the mix but before I do that I was trying to figure out how I would go about setting up Awesome Miner to use both the AMD and Nvidia cards and still mine to MPH with profit switching. Can anyone help me out with that? thanks!  It will be possible with two Managed Profit Miners, where one is running the AMD profit profile and the other one is running the nVidia profit profile. The only scenario where this will require some manual configuration is if you want to run Claymore Etheruem miner, because that one will try to run on both AMD and nVidia at the same time. It's however possible to configure each profit profile to have command line parameters to Claymore to force it to use only nVidia or AMD (see -platform parameter). thank you for the reply! I assume then that I would need to create a 3rd profit profile that has the combined hashrates of all of the cards in order to use on the "coins" and "online services" tabs so that it picks the correct algo to mine on between all of the cards? |
