1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suspicious transactions on Myetherwallet! on: July 17, 2018, 08:19:08 PM
Not worried about receiving shit tokens. But these 'nicetokens' were not deposited INTO my address, they were send OUT of my address, which is a Trezor generated address by the way.
Someone generates coins on the fly in random addresses and can send them out to other addresses (regardless from Trezor or MEW or whatever, none of those interfaces are actually used when coins are transferred) Huh

And I see one of the destination addresses is BancorTokenNetwork. Bancor? If that's not fishy, then what is...

Yup. Without anything substantial out in the open, a token is nothing more then a pump and dump vehicle.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - 1st Stable fork of Ethereum on: February 15, 2018, 10:43:42 PM
A lot of Bitcoin maximalists believe Ethereum is basically a scam with all these ETH-based ICOs coming out of the woodwork. Now Expanse is doing the same thing, same technology too. What say you?
Some people call Bitcoin a fraud. What say you?

Kim Dot Com has nothing to do with Megacoin. He tweeted about Megacoin once in his lifetime. End of any relationship. As for rating it higher... Back then when there were few coins, and very large mining pools that would rape any existing coin that might bring profit, Megacoin was the first to implement an improvement to avoid being left with incredibly high difficulty after mining pools would have hopped onto the next coin. Many coins followed that example. But that was 2013...

can anyone clear this, if TAAS team taken part in ICO project and sold all the tokens or they didnt take part at all

Also found on https://www.taas.fund/about :  8 million tokens were sold, all unsold tokens were burnt.

If the payout is as high as some people suggested, then I dont think it will drop as far as I would like to see it drop.

Whoa! if we receive dividends anything above $1 I am going to be extremely happy.

The only thing I dislike is price always goes down post-dividends payout.
Well, that dip allows you to use your dividend payout to enlarge your holdings cheaply. Compare that to the ones who dump their TAAS. They will have to do that before the payout. After the dividend payout they will have like one hour to dump their TAAS and if they miss that then chances are prices will have dropped too far already.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: January 17, 2018, 07:43:31 AM
Last two payouts were around $0.30 per TAAS ($0.28 and $0.32 I believe). Dont know what it will be this time, especially after yesterday, but if it's up from last time I am already happy. The fact that ETH went up since last payout means nothing, unless the TAAS people invested in that, but likely they used those ETH to invest in other projects. Anyway, I dont know. I'm not a trader or someone with great insight. That is why I invested in TAAS so someone else can do all that for me.

The snapshot will probably be made between Feb 1 and 10, it wil not be announced. Make sure your coins are in a  dedicated wallet then and not on an exchange. With last dividend payout, many people reported issues/delays moving their coins away from Liqui close to the snapshot date.

ICO price, some mention $0.80 per token but I remember having paid $1
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RLC] iEx.ec blockchain-based distributed cloud announces its Crowdsale on: January 07, 2018, 04:18:50 PM
Trezor supports Eth, and RLC too. You can manage your RLC in combination with MyEtherwallet. Mind you, you will need to keep Eth on the same address as well for paying gas, otherwise no transactions can be done.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - 1st Stable fork of Ethereum on: January 01, 2018, 08:59:49 PM
Download and use their EXR interface, https://github.com/expanse-org (mind you, always check before clicking any link! Dont trust me or anybody else)

Right now the dapp start up screen will show you there are no EXR contracts available. The EXP team might make more available at some time, but the supply of EXP for paying reward is not infinite so there are limits to what they can do

Odd... Did people really exchange their TAAS for free falling BTC?!
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: December 16, 2017, 08:49:13 PM

Have any of the investments made a return yet or have all profits been from trading alone?
The people that bought in at ICO paid $1 per TAAS and received two dividend payments which together are well over $0.60 per TAAS. All they need to do is sell to make huge profit, but why should they when they can make their investment back in less then a year, over and over and over, for doing ... well... absolutely nothing.

Theoratically, since part of the profit gets reinvested, dividend should grow larger since total investment grows as well, yet the amount of TAAS is fixed.
Two tactics you can follow: buy now at low price and sell just before dividend payout, or go long term and focus on dividend payouts and reinvest your payout by buying what traders dump.
The second is slow but fairly secure (as if anything crypto is ever secure...), the second may get you more profit faster but a growing number of traders aim to do exactly that, so competition will push margins down by a lot.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: November 23, 2017, 04:56:07 PM
Well, I can predict that based on some TAAS value and previous two results. But I expect people have a brain and can use it to understand that predictions need to be changed as values change constantly and that dividend amount is just an assumption based on last times. It's not difficult stuff.

Ah, reinvesting part of the earnings by TAAS team is major important! What about ten years of that...

At about $0.30 USD per TAAS this coin is great for hodlers. The ICO people receive well over 100% per year on their ICO investment. I saw $0.80 mentioned as ICO price, I thought I had paid $1.00, but fine. I just wish I had deposited a year salary into it then Cheesy
Anyone buying the coin around $4.50 will receive 25% return per year (based on dividend of around $0.30). Try and find that in financial products... If you reinvest all the dividend, and you should since people dump TAAS to current levels again right after dividend payout which is very nice of those people, you can grow your total amount of TAAS by 30% per year.

Must have missed that post also, kivo2004. But that is about it. 6% return every three months if price is around $4.50 and dividends are about the same. TAAS is cheaper right now, so potentially better returns.
Keep your TAAS off the exchanges if you want to receive dividend. It's not paid out to TAAS which is kept there.

And yes, such things are great for risk-averse people. I am too involved with my coins to be trading with them. If price drops, I panic, and if price jumps, I panic Cheesy
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - 1st Stable fork of Ethereum on: November 20, 2017, 08:59:49 PM
No support from the company I think it will be 1.80 price will not rise

Most currencies doubled their price but Huh? Huh Huh Huh

The market has tripled, but the problem is the ones responsible  Expanse  is not helping to pump enough money to help it rise

Dont quite get it. Every time Bitcoin goes up, nearly all altcoins drop in BTC value (and sadly a bit in USD value as well though that is more sticky) so which are these "most currencies" that doubled their price?

Anyway, I got my first EXP at $0.10, quite some time ago now, so I see a slightly different picture Smiley

Quick update, Liqui withdraw was okay just now.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: November 18, 2017, 04:09:43 PM
I cannot withdraw TAAS from Liqui becuase when I fill in all the data and click withdraw, I get the message : Unable to verify if address correct. Well, the address has been used quite a few times before, so...
Will see later, tomorrow...

Just got me some TaaS - ledger with MEW is all good for hold and receiving dividends...correct?
Yes. I have hardware wallet with MEW, two dividends received now (Eth into your Ledger address), works nice.
