1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: March 08, 2014, 10:52:36 PM
When we live in a culture we strange other cultures, isn't it?

I never understood why people gets upset when an exchange asks your ID. This is because in my country , within UE, i can be arrested (for a couple of hours) only because i don't carry my ID documents (nationality and driver license) when i'm on public places (streets, sidewalks, etc). If an officer stops me and asks for my ID i have to show him my documents. It's simple as that...

Sobre o meeting, podem-me acrescentar à zona norte: Porto.

I have just sent a PM to everyone that would like to be involved with the Lawsuit,

If you would like to be involved but did not receive a PM please PM me ASAP as information is being requested.

@Terrahash, you still have a chance to do right by your customers by communicating and or refunding those that want out. It's up to you.

PM sent.

8  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 06, 2013, 06:39:13 PM
here is the problum with that. the reason TH has no money for refunds is becouse they bought the supplys (other than chips) with that money. do you think TH can make money out of thin air?

I guess you shouldn't start a business without capital, or a business plan. I have no idea how anyone can feel badly for TH with their lousy treatment of those that funded them. Especially seeing that they aren't answering anyone on refunds, but instead moving ahead with yet another plan to get more funding. They didn't buy everything, remaining funds should be returned on request, even if partial, but they need to answer people. They are digging their own hole. The community would have rallied behind them completely if they pulled us in, and many offers were made to help them with their customer service problem.

I would guess that 80-90% of the customers here would have helped in any way had they asked and kept us informed. That's how a community works.

Exactly!

What happened in the last 2 days is serious: HW problems and a new service with new pre-order.

@Bargraphics,

I wrote "If a refund is not possible (...)". So if it is, my decision is clear. As a costumer i had the right to get emails (plural!) with the news update. That information shouldn't be only on a fórum.
You judge too fast.
You're rude and arrogant. I'm not from any country of the commonwealth so english is not my native language. I do my best, ok?

P.S.: Refund requested to TH.
9  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: September 06, 2013, 04:09:27 PM
Now TH announces a service for $6/GH in November.

In June a paid $2000 for a DX-Mini 18GHs (4x16K). That's $111,11/GH!

If a refund is not possible - every week is money lost - at least TH should accept convert my (our) order into their new service.

And because we all gave money in advance for their investment this should be the least they could do.

To be honest, i'm tired of all excuses.
When a company offers me a product they are responsible for what they are selling.
If the problems comes from their suppliers that's their problem. Ask responsability to them. It is not my fault.

That's how the commerce chain works.

They said 2 weeks after they get the chips.  They haven't received chips yet so what can you hold against them?  They are getting screwed worse than you so you should feel bad for them also.

You can ask for children to be reasonable, if in the off chance I'm wrong (Highly unlikely) then greed is blocking his judgement.

You can go through and look at all of the other groupbuys, some are not even giving 100%. If you want a refund from Terrahash they said they would give you 100% refund in 3 months or give you what you ordered and agreed to via ToS and a 20% off coupon that you can sell or use based on your previous purchase.

I think these people just like to hear themselves cry because there are ways out if you choose them, but as I said before his greed for mining money bitcoin mining is blocking his judgement at a rational decision based on his risk tolerance.

I'm not talking about a friends conversation.
You like it or not, this is a business deal. The risks i take i'm responsible for them. Period.

It's clear to me that a company sold me a product that they didn't know very well how to produce it. And the fact is that as published in a previous post they are having problems with the HW. Even if the chips were delivered how could they send my product in 2 weeks?

My risk was the investiment. By now something that was to be delivered in August it will be, with good faith, in October.

Greed is blocking my judgment, you say? How do commercial transactions work, can you explain me?

Let's say you go to a store and buy a Smartphone. If it doesn't work, to whom will you ask responsibility?
To the store? To the smartphone brand? To the factories of the components?
Is it so complicated to understand the chain?
Final costumer -> Store -> Company -> Factory...?

TH didn't have any problem to receive my payment, did they? And again, it seems that HW problems aren't solved yet, or are they?

13  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Group buy 1000 pcs USB Erupters - European Union on: July 08, 2013, 01:25:48 PM
Let me see if i understood your math:

300*0,330GHs = 99 GHz.

300*51,00 EUR = 15.300,00 EUR

1GHs = 154,55 EUR

You will pay 15.300,00 EUR for 99 GHs ?

That's a lot of money!

14  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Live - Group Buy].5BTC = 2.8Gh/s KNCminer Jupiter/Saturn *10 Sold [Selling #11] on: July 07, 2013, 05:06:48 PM
Can i suggest one thing?

Those who are in 11th saturn could move to 1st Jupiter so this one can close and all the company could benefit from an upgrade to the hashrate.

Don't know if this is complicated. According to my claculations all saturn shares into jupiter would exceed 8 shares. In this case the first 143 shares (saturn/jupiter together) would close the order.

What do you think?

Confirming once again to move my 3 shares to Jupiter.

If is to consider this as a company, wich i agree, the total number of shares should be 78*x "saturn" + 143*y "jupiter", where x and y are the number of machines.
If not, this would low the Hashrate.

That's what i think...
