1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Still bitcoin buying is not easy for new people on: Today at 11:24:46 PM
I don't see Bitcoin purchase price as high because you can buy in unit

Well, if you compare the current cost of Bitcoin with the one that was 10-15 years ago, then it will be difficult to argue with the fact that the price of BTC is too high. Sure, you can buy some satoshi for $1, but you can't buy 1 BTC for $1.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We gamblers are actually one of the biggest reasons why Bitcoin took off. on: Today at 10:59:53 PM
...I think we can all agree that Bitcoin’s success comes down to adoption, and when people started gambling with Bitcoin, that was adoption in action...

Then you need to remember Ross Ulbricht, who, thanks to the Silk Road platform he created, played a key role in popularizing Bitcoin. So for the period from 2011 to 2013, transactions worth 10 million BTC were carried out between buyers and sellers of the Silk Road platform, which amounted to more than 1 million transactions.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What’s your go to strategy for trading futures when the market looks good? on: Today at 10:04:33 PM
Your position will be liquidated only if you have not set a stop loss. Accordingly, if your position has been liquidated, it means that you ignore risk management and it means that you are not engaged in trading, but in a casino.
You should know that not everyone makes use of stop loss when trading, some people prefer to monitor their trade on their own, and that doesn’t make the person a gambler, and they don’t really like making use of stop loss...

Yes, there are some traders who manually monitor their order. But you won't be able to control your position around the clock. It is better to lose 2-3% using a stop loss than to lose the entire deposit without using it.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dealing with Gambling Fever. on: Today at 09:28:21 PM
Gambling fever differs from gambling addiction in that in this state the player can still control himself, but under the influence of excitement he loses control of himself for a short time, as a result of which he can lose several bets in a row.
I don't see the difference between them. Both of them lose their self-control, they also gamble with unrealistic goals. And I'm sure there is no certain time period that gambling fever lasts. It is totally the same as gambling addiction.

In principle, this difference between gambling fever and gambling addiction can be explained even more simply. Gambling addiction is a medical condition and is listed in the international classification of diseases, while gambling fever is not a medical condition.

7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What’s your go to strategy for trading futures when the market looks good? on: August 04, 2025, 08:13:45 PM
...Futures is a risky place to trade, and I try to stay away from it as much as I can, so I can do better on the long term.

Yes, futures are a high-risk type of trading and for this reason it is highly profitable. But you need to know that these risks can be significantly reduced if you adhere to risk management. This is exactly what need to start studying before you start trading, regardless of whether it is spot or futures.

9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Betting vs FIAT Betting on: August 03, 2025, 11:03:25 PM
I prefer cryptocurrency casinos, because I like cryptocurrencies, and also because if I were to use casinos in my country, I would have to use FIAT and if I won and wanted to buy an altcoin, I wouldn't be able to. So it's more advantageous for me to use cryptocurrencies.

Of course, cryptocurrency will be preferable for those who possess it) In addition, an important factor is that there is no need to withdraw cryptocurrency into fiat and pay tax on this amount, and then send the money received back to your casino balance.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make wallet seeds memorable and easy for you on: August 03, 2025, 10:46:37 PM
These help you remember the seed without having to write it down in plain text...

It is possible that this method is acceptable if you have only one wallet and, accordingly, you need to remember one seed phrase. However, if you have multiple wallets, this method of saving the seed phrase will be unacceptable to you. Therefore, the best way is to simply write down the seed phrase and save it in a safe place.

12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is influencing the growth in the number of traders? on: August 03, 2025, 03:14:05 PM
...trading is becoming more and more accessible.

A large influx of new traders is facilitated by the fact that in order to start trading, you do not need a large deposit and, as it seems to beginners, you do not need special knowledge. And besides that, we see success stories from different media outlets, how $100 turned out to be a million dollar profit.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are online Casinos more rigged than physical Casinos like in Las Vegas? on: August 03, 2025, 10:42:37 AM
...online it is all code and you have to trust the software and hope the site not screwing with you...

If you have chosen an online licensed casino, then you should not worry that the RTP (Return to Player) may be reduced there, since in both cases the games are supplied by the same providers as in offline casinos.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bybit Account name and Bank name mismatch: need help after long time delay on: August 02, 2025, 11:12:21 PM
I have been trying to fix this issue for almost 11 months now. It started when I was installing the Bybit app on my phone and mistakenly filled in my surname as SINDAY instead of SUNDAY during the biodata setup.
As a result, my Bybit account name doesn’t match my bank account name, and this causes problems whenever I try to use P2P trading...

As I understand it, you verified your account on the Bybit exchange, but I don't understand how you managed to pass verification on the exchange if you entered your last name incorrectly. The only solution to your problem is to open a ticket via E-mail.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please Give up! If you notice trading is not for you. on: August 02, 2025, 10:25:10 PM
Giving up on trading has to be from the initial point and not when you’ve spent so much time and resources into it before you decide to give up. Your emotional state could have been disrupted before you would even realise it is not for you...

Obviously, such a trader is prevented from trading by his own Ego and the inability to recognize the fact that he is not capable of becoming a profitable trader. For others, such a factor in trading, as well as in casinos, is that the black streak must end and they will be able to get a big win.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "Fake Flex" in gambling on: August 02, 2025, 11:04:49 AM
...I have someone who says from the tune of it, he is selling some kind of roulette system to me. Like teaching me on how to beat the system but when I ask him if he actually win using this strategy, he can't answer straight.
And the best story "turning 500 PHP to 100,000 PHP" in one night of baccarat session, but there are no proof whatsoever.

We will regularly hear such successful game stories, as the main purpose of these stories is to sell us this successful strategy. If these strategies really made a profit, they would not be sold, as you could increase your deposit on your own.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please Give up! If you notice trading is not for you. on: August 02, 2025, 10:26:58 AM
...I know someone who doesn't really good at trading whatever they do but I know someone who becomes good after a few months, I think it affects on how do they understand things and possibly what are they approach on the matter and possibly a decision making which are some of the things traders do not have in common.

In my opinion, this has a simple explanation: in a few months, you can become a profitable trader only in a bull market. I think many have experienced similar euphoria, buying an altcoin in the evening and selling it the next day, while making a profit. But as soon as the market turned bearish, they quickly lost their deposit.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How quickly do you forget a loss on: August 01, 2025, 10:34:43 PM
And this is a very harsh reality, everyone forgets their own limitations in such a way, people make their own rules, but due to emotions and greed, they break those rules themselves, and as a result they face even greater disasters, it is very sad but this kind of thing happens to most gamblers...

This is because many players tend to violate risk management due to their psychological characteristics. It is character traits such as impatience, impulsivity, and emotional instability that lead a player to violate the rules they set for themselves.

20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please Give up! If you notice trading is not for you. on: July 31, 2025, 10:57:00 PM
...Please my opinion is to take that advice with a pinch of salt because when you have spent years learning the skill of trading and it doesn't seem to go well for you, I advice you get some other skills that might work for you...

Yes, the reality is that not every trader can learn to trade profitably, despite a year of training. And it depends on the personal qualities of each person and the ability to strictly implement basic strategies. It will be easier for such traders to retrain as investors.
