There's alot of speculation around NANO right now... Apparently people saying Binance only added NANO when a big dip happened and after they bough the dip... not good. Also supposedly NANO was added to Binance 1h ago but people can't trade it still and all those who sent NANO to binance didn't receive it yet. I also heard that the fee of withdraw is 1 NANO  

There's just too many factors for what is happening right now. Facebook started banning crypto adds, due to the majority being scams. All this drama with bitfinex and the tether being backed by USD and then they get a subpoena. The news from India that many turned it into fake news. Just so much negative stuff...

If it's an obsession then you should definitely take a break, and i assume you are investing more than you can afford to lose or you wouldn't be obsessed. Just do things you enjoy to get your mind out of it, but not gonna lie, if you really invested a long portion of your wealth, it will be hard not to worry, since that's a big deal.

If you have been trying to trade for 6 months and no good profit then maybe you should think twice about still wanting to day trade to make money. Anyway, for day trading my favourite indicators are the relative strength index (RSI) and the bollinger bands. I'm not sure if you already did that, but you need to watch videos and read alot about tech analysis to be able to perform decently in trading. Goodluck

All these fake news and all these FUD on the forums it's just ridiculous... People just need to stop being stupid, if they are worried about their investment, then they should just convert bitcoin back to fiat, if they're not worried then just hodl and hope for the best, but they should stop creating topics just to say "omg bitcoin hit 8k", this is not helpful for anyone and it's just pure spam. We all have eyes and can see by ourselves the prices, we don't need topics for it.

It's always like these though... Everytime a somehow grey news happen, they all make it look dark and make up stuff just to create FUD. The annoying thing is the amount of accounts that spam the forum with the fake news, it's ridiculous...

Everytime i see a post of yours it's always crap quality. All you do in this forums is spread FUD and try to make people sell their bitcoins. Grow up

Basically you can just buy the two big coins aka bitcoin and ethereum and just hold them for a long time hoping for big price increases during 2018 like many people do, you can also do the same with alt coins, even though it is more riskier but can be more profitable since some of them 3x-10x in small amounts of time. If you're not interested in holding you can simply day trade bitcoin for alt coins and the other way around. The principle is buying low selling high like you said, but in order to do that successfully you need to learn technical analysis, watch youtube videos/research about it, it's hard to be successful at it though.

Usually people use coinbase to obtain bitcoin with fiat, most likely by bank transfers. So when you wanna sell your crypto you do the same process as you did when you bough just the reverse of it.

Anyway, there's just too much FUD regarding crypto right now. You have the problems with chinese year, problems with regulations and bans on exchanges coming from Asia, the recent problems with facebook... people start to panic and to withdraw their money. Also the big players want bitcoin to go down to get high quantities of it for cheap and therefore make massive profits when the bull run begins again.

When it gets to all this recent FUD that you talk about, i truly believe that what's happening right now is simply the big players trying to push bitcoin price as lower as possible before starting the next bull run for massive profits...  We've seen this kind of behaviour with the cme contracts... before they happened bitcoin was pump'd as hell, and then they all shorted it for massive profits...

This was talked about already, usually when the chinese year happens there's a drawback on the crypto market, probably due to the fact that they need fiat to pay for all the things that are going to happen, like presents and travelling...

This might certainly be good news for the majority of us... seems that for now their main focus is to just go after some illegal exchanges. Not sure how this news will affect or if it's gonna affect at all the market,  i hope it brings back some of the investment that we lost due to FUD.

I dont think ETH will reach bitcoin price, in my opinion bitcoin is just too mainstream to get dethroned for the most expensive cryptocurrency category. One thing i believe on though, is that in 2018 Ethereum will rise more percentage wise than bitcoin, so that being said, in my opinion you will make more money if you have your money on ethereum than if you have your money on bitcoin.

I'm not sure if by trading you mean day trading... if yes, then first you need to learn about technical analysis. Technical analysis is a trading tool employed to evaluate and attempt to forecast the future movement of the market  by analyzing statistics gathered from trading activity, such as price movement and volume. You can use several indicators like RSI, MACD, MA etc to help you with this. I recommend that you watch videos on youtube and read about it, that's the only way that you have to make some profit trading, otherwise you're gonna end up losing all your money. goodluck!

In my opinion the price of bitcoin is due to the fact of being so easy to especulate with... in the beginning it was a brand new technology, i don't think anyone had any idea of what it would reach. At the current state due to the huge groth from last year, more and more people joined the boat, the demand increased, but the supply kept being the same. You mean alot less spam? Anyway, about the merit... I think there should be some tweaks done to the current system. I believe that right now the problem is that most of the users aren't getting merit with they're posts(even if the posts are good)... Maybe because other users are still not used to this new feature, maybe because they expect a half of a page post to be eligible to win merit... All i know is that getting higher rank will be much harder than before, even if your posts are good

Is the past people started investing in bitcoin due to being a fresh technology with great potential. Honestly right now, many people only invested due to all those news about bitcoin on the media where it grew god knows how much % during 2017 etc Most of them don't know about the technology or anything, they just have the dream of hodling and getting rich out of nowhere like many did before
