1. Where can I download the official blockchain wallet for Ethereum? I've tried www.ethereum.org - but I dont want to use the command line.

If there is no option - how can I install the wallet on an external harddrive insted of it automatically installes itself on %appdata%?

2. Also; where can I download the official ethereum classic wallet?

Hello,

I was wondering if I f.ex bought 5 bitcoins and then stored them in a wallet and forgot about them. Five years in the future there has been f. ex 10 forks and splits of bitcoin. How would i know with type of bitcoin i would own?

I ask because i'm a little confused regarding how bitcoin cash came to be?

Hope someone understand my question and can help me.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Stuck in bitcoin core transaction on: November 19, 2017, 04:00:33 AM
Hello, I am stuck in a bitcoin core transaction.

I recently found a litte bitcoin value that I had stored from a few years back, I transferede it to another wallet but I think I only set a "static fee" since I cant edit it; 0.00001782 BTC.

Is there any way to cancel this or make the fee higher? Will it ever go trough with such low fee?

Hope to hear from you.

Thank you so much for trying to help.

I found the "missing 10 GB". The same day I downloaded the ethereum wallet, and first now did i actually find that file. Im sorry for being so stupid.

Everything connected to the bitcoin wallet is connected to the external harddrive, as it should be.

Again, thanks.

HCP:

It is as you say, I just noticed that around 10 GB was wierdly missing, and I had no other installations or anything like that.

Im using Windows 10.

kahc:

Yes, or at least I have tried to, but since it is located on the external harddrive it is no folder on my C-drive / or I can't find any folders connected to bitcoin. Should there be even if I installed it on the external harddrive?
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Bitcoin Core on external harddrive - still uses computer PM-space? on: November 15, 2017, 06:18:49 PM
Hello, I recently downloaded bitcoin core and I discovered a problem I havent noticed before.

As you can read in the title I installed it on my external harddrive, this because the computer I like to use only have SSD. Now, I have a few things on my SSD drive - but when I installed the bitcoin core application witch took up about 155 GB on my external harddrive, it presumably also took around 10 GB of my SSD drive on the computer that I used.

Why is that? How can i locate where the files are stored locally?

... and last but not least, can I be wrong?

It might be helpfull to add that i also downloaded the ethereum wallet, but that did not take up any place on my computer as far as i know.

Hope that some of you can help me!
