I contacted the email on the PayPal account directly as well as asking here. Took a few days, but he did get around to refunding. I just wanted to drop a line that my Jupiter 2 refund was processed this morning via PayPal. Thanks!
Mine wasn't. Still waiting...

I just noticed that mightycount is listed at $500 PP but only with 4 shares? Caught a serious cold with constant migraines. Feeling a lot better now. I will be catching up with replies and PMs
Hope you're feeling better, can't wait for more machines to be ordered (despite the fact that I probably won't be buying in to any more). Are you going to start working on the Google Docs spreadsheet again? I was getting a bit worried ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Indeed! Jupiter #2: mightycount $500 PP - 4 Shares Bamdad - .55 BTC - 1 Share Fantazygirl - $200 PP - 4 Shares jongaper - 1.6 BTC - 2 Share m_yaw - .6 BTC - 1 Share 2400baud - $100 PP - 2 Shares peterlex - $500 PP - 10 Shares jamesc760 - .5 BTC - .4 BTC pending - 1 Share antihero_929 - 3.6 BTC - 4 Shares DugOutDad - 3.6 BTC - 4 Shares dma88 - $100 PP - 2 Shares phongnv - $150 PP - 3 Shares wiredmine - $100 PP - 2 Shares wolfskill - .9 BTC - 1 Share SeriousWorm - 3.6 BTC - 4 Shares piecinitup - .9 BTC - 1 Share 46 / 143

Pretty much. I'm already stroking my beard like... hmmm should I buy 3 more H-Boards or not? It'll be interesting to see who wins the arms race in a years time and how =) Probably as end of November comes around, ROI will be so slow that in order to really make any money, you'll need to get a 100TH machine. Hopefully by then you will have mined enough to pay for that. It's a mad cycle!! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Same. I bought some coins and I bought some mining hardware. I'm interested in ROI I but i'm also here for the long haul and probably will be hoarding my coins and not selling immediately to cover expenses. I guess we'll start to see in a few weeks.. I have the cost of a moderate house riding on KNC and the cost of a compact car riding on BitFury. I bought a crapload of BFL stuff, too, but it's likely to be worthless by the time it's delivered.
I know that this argument has been done to death but if you really are putting that kind of capital into mining hardware you would be much better served just buying BTC on the dips and riding waves. Mining profit potential will be decreasing drastically and we do not know if any vendor can even meet their deadlines. BTC profit potential is much greater with discipline and a good strategy. Just saying Cablez, Miners is miners and traders is traders...and never the twain shall meet... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) In a way you are right. I do both and am not very good at either. lol We're swimming in the same pool brother.... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Course we do have Saturns here too... But I feel like Jupiter Minig Co has to be it for the Red Dwarf Reference, haha. Butbutbutbut... Jupiter isn't a red dwarf, because it's not a star.
If you're talking about the color, sure, but then it's not a dwarf because it's pretty damn big compared to every other planet in the solar system.
Sorry that I'm being overly pedantic, but still. Maybe RedGiantMining?
haha i just love the tv show, and thought it relates nicely to jupiter mining because the ship red dwarf from the show was a mining ship right? true Jupiter is not a star but .... its... BIG ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Sorry, I forget not everyone will have seen the pure gold that is the British sci-fi comedy Red Dwarf, Jupiter Mining Corporation was the company that owned the ship which the show is named after.

Ya my CC went through and my order, #64 is still pending as well. I imagine Dave will clear through the backlog after the BTC payments which are probably more time sensitive market wise. The order status is in "Pending"? But the CC payment went through?
Yes. It seems as though Dave is doing it manually, I think. If so, my order number is #89.

I'm assuming you mean exchanging emails with BTC customers correct? I paid with CC, looks like the payment has gone through and I have my original order confirmation, so most of us CC customers should be good to go right? I'm *almost* caught up with payment processing. All BTC invoices have been sent, and most CC payment processed. If I'm not already exchanging emails with you, and you are waiting for a response, please resend - your original email may be buried.
Please don't resend the requests for trying to get August units...they are sold out. The only return we had was a single H-board (Oct).
Thanks for all your patience guys!
Dave
[EDIT] we missed a page of orders in the system - so there are still remaining CC payments to reconcile and a few BTC invoices. Sorry for the confusion...let's target by end of day we'll be caught up.

I think people genuinely get stuck on the idea of... well I paid $1300 for this magic box, as long as I get that back in BTC value i'm doing ok. And they ignore what else they could have done with that same money.
One of the main reasons I jumped on an August kit was my hope that if it comes before the September bloodbath, at least I have a little extra chance at ROI. I also have bought and held the same value in BTC as a sorta experiment, we shall see how things turn out in Aug 2014.
However, this will be the last I say on the subject in this thread. I think too many of these ASIC buy threads have turned into ROI fights, and while a valid concern, isn't what this particular thread is about.

Dumbish question. But i'm working on designing a case right now, does the H-Board just plug straight into the M-Board or is there a ribbon connector between the two? Seems like it plugs straight in at a right angle.

Just wanted to briefly say that this is brilliant. A manufacturer who is actually responding to questions, and within minutes. Not to mention a sensible refund policy and I could use my CC. Jumped on for a starter kit. Thank you Dave!

Right, good point. I'll hold on for now and fingers crossed something will work out, haha =) Ya ye know what, I messaged him a few days ago and missed his reply and just bought the shares now before reading the rest of this thread. Seems I screwed up and missed the boat before the merging of the Saturn. So uhh... I guess i'll request a refund. Bugger. Two shares of Jupiter purchased. $100 USD with PayPal. Transaction ID # 6L601577P60452233
I thought it was sold out. You might be able to get in, still. Don't ask for a refund yet.

As someone who has watched BTC from when it was $3.50 until now, but not done anything until now... Don't get into mining. I've dropped a bunch of BTC on these preorders and I have two of those little USB miners going, but I feel the safest thing is to buy a BTC or two and just sit on them. But maybe wait a few weeks and see where this dropping value trend levels out for the time being.

Paleo / Slow Carb worked for me for a bit. I mean the basic concept of not sucking down so much bread and sugar is a good one. But the only lasting weight loss i've had is from calorie counting with short bike rides everyday and now Weight Watchers with the same exercise. Averaging about 8lbs a month.
