8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: January 23, 2018, 01:16:32 AM
Abstract moral arguments have never had much weight in discussions about America’s death penalty, at least not in America. Amnesty International has lead a long but futile campaign to raise consciousness about the brutalities inflicted in American prisons and to have them, and the death penalty, recognised as human rights abuses. A minority of Americans oppose the death penalty, but even they seldom aim their criticism at the rationale behind the practice of punishing the guilty with death. Instead, their reservations have to do with the possibility of occasionally executing innocent people. Recently the American death penalty has come under renewed scrutiny precisely because increasing evidence of innocence on death row has raised doubts about the legal processes by which the death sentence is handed down. Racial disparities have also caused concern.

An interesting way to contrast the internal and external views is to imagine walking through a beautiful landscape. Your purpose in walking may be just to get somewhere else – you may think there’s a better place off in the distance. In this case the meaning of your journey through the landscape is external to the experience of the landscape itself. On the other hand, you may be intensely interested in what the landscape holds. It may be a forest, or it may contain farms, villages. You may stop along the way, study, learn, converse, with little thought about why you are doing these things other than the pleasure they give you. You may stop to help someone who is sick: in fact, you may stay many years, and found a hospital. What then is the meaning of your journey? Is it satisfying or worthwhile only if you have satisfied an external purpose – only if it gets you somewhere else? Why, indeed, cannot the satisfactions and pleasures of the landscape, and of your deeds, be enough?

11  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: December 27, 2017, 02:26:09 PM
There are many arguments which support this law and some arguments which oppose such a law. Well proponents of the argument that child rapists should be sentenced to the death penalty say that children who have been raped usually live a life of torment, the become victims of the torment themselves. These kids often turn to drugs and alcohol to help them get through their lives effectively. This condition can also worsen for them if they have to face or see their tormentor on a regular basis. Hence by making the death sentence as the price you pay for raping children, a vivid message is sent to the perpetrators. Moreover the offenders or rapists very rarely change their abusing habits and research shows that around 98 percent of them reoffend; hence the death sentence makes sense.

Humans are spiritual beings that possess eternal life and go through countless reincarnations. The human soul was created by branching off from God, so a Divine nature dwells in every soul. Hence all human beings are children of God .and i know that each of us have different purpose or rule in life.but you must to fight for good way and praise and trust god.
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the common cause of poverty? on: December 20, 2017, 07:04:18 AM
I would say that major cause of poverty in the Philippines which is my country is the inequitable distribution of wealth among Filipinos. Only a little over 10 percent control the wealth of the nation. If you were born poor, everything will be stacked against you, that is, lack of education and the opportunity for gainful employment, to keep body and soul together, especially during hard times.
14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Biggest Problem of your Country ?? on: December 20, 2017, 06:46:06 AM
The biggest problem in my country facing is Corruption in the government. The people are charged with taxes but we end up having inefficient implementation of road and traffic rules, lack of a flood control system, and "road constructions" (They destroy some roads then immediately "fix" it, as a tactic for kickback). Even if, let's say, we have a good president, it would still be difficult for him to implement good governance practices nationwide because the rest of the politicians would not support something that has nothing in it for them. This problem is passed from generation to generation, more so considering the fact that the strongest politicians form dynasties. The problems in the government, collectively, is the primary reason for the rest of the problems.
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the biggest problem of teenagers nowadays? on: December 20, 2017, 06:27:35 AM
For me the biggest probles in teenagers is a fundamental stage of life that each human being passes through. Some people face this period of their life strongly and positively, while others face many problems and difficulties. This depends on the environment these young adults live in, their parents, their friends, their living conditions, their education, and many other factors. Teenagers face many problems such as becoming addicted to drugs and alcohol, being influenced negatively by their peers, self-image and weight, or even arguments with their parents.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what is the definition of success? on: December 20, 2017, 06:11:57 AM
The definition of success differs from one person to another. Most people work hard throughout their lives to achieve success. That might mean acquiring an education, being able to take care of one’s family, achieving a life’s ambition, or making money. One interesting view about success is that it means something different to each person. Also, perceptions of success can be faulty. A person may seem to be successful, but scandal and ruin can easily follow if a person has made poor choices to achieve his ideal of success.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bully Problem on: December 20, 2017, 05:55:15 AM
Have you ever bullied or been bullied? If you have bullied or been bullied then you should know how bullying feels like. Bullying is very negative and creates major problems for our society. Nothing good comes out of bullying. It could very well change or ruin a person's life. In fact, it does ruin many people's lives. Kids can be mentally scarred if they are teased often. Even worse, they could be killed or fatally injured if the bullying gets extreme. There are many causes for bullying which must be taken care of before bullying can be stopped. T.V. violence, families in poverty, and mis-teachings are just several of the many serious causes for bullying. Bullying must be stopped or prevented no matter how long it will take, it is a deeply concerning matter.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: December 20, 2017, 03:59:38 AM
Yes i think that global warming is real and I believe that the real problem in this world is not climate change; the real problem is us because of our ignorance and apathy. What we have to do is to start changing our ways, to start recalibrating our minds, and redirecting our steps, because together, as a global community, our micro efforts will have a macro effect to help save our home, our planet.
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Loosing motivation on: December 20, 2017, 03:35:32 AM
No matter how discouraged or loosing motivation you are or how much things have changed since you started having without motivation, getting connected to these things will allow you to see if they are the things you're still looking for out of work. If so, you can focus on getting incorporating more of those moments and opportunities into your day. If they aren't so relevant anymore...well that information is just as good as you start thinking about what could light you up moving forward. You may feel completely competent within your current workflows, but if you’re not constantly looking for ways to improve, it’s clear that you’ve lost some drive to succeed.
