1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop buying Bitcoin! on: December 20, 2017, 12:31:16 PM
Stop buying bitcoin can make market crash and cause sudden dump but those would just be took whales as advantage for buying more bitcoin and yield better profit in future and bitcoin would surge again once mass buying starts.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Will Change Everything on: December 20, 2017, 09:05:48 AM
I think Bitcoin could change everything because my goverment gave the first signal about the "accept Bitcoin" in the news.
Really? Our government don't have any talks about bitcoin yet maybe because only few people are aware of it but I hope this just remain as is because I'm pretty sure if government see bitcoin potential and how many of my countrymen having financial freedom through cryptocurrency they would make an act to take advantage of our earnings through tax dues.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: December 19, 2017, 03:00:05 PM
Actually we don't need to gamble but gambling use to attract us because no matte how risky it is we still to put bet because of the easy money thingy it offers for winning.
4  Other / Meta / Re: Why do people post "Reserving (language) translation"? on: December 17, 2017, 05:45:02 PM
What does that even mean? I've been wondering this for years and thought I'd finally ask.

People reserve slots with their comments, Ive done it before so no one can take your place at the giveaway or translation

I'm also wondering so it means if someone reply in bounty thread "reserved" it already means that certain translation already for them and it's not possible to apply for it anymore?
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: December 17, 2017, 04:38:20 PM
There had been a lot of bitcoin hacking story scattered over the internet but those people who share their story I think just lack being careful might had log in into a psihing site using their wallet credentials or had carelessly exposed their private keys somewhere haven't heard about hacking done through decrypting pass or something related so far.
6  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BTC For Sale 1btc for 13.500$ and Im interested in Buying too on: December 17, 2017, 03:29:35 PM
Since OP is a newbie and asking to send email to him for the deals so if anyone planning to have a deal with this guy use trusted escrow service to avoid any issues later on.

I don't understand why he wants to sell BTC at so cheap price when the market price is around 20K. If you sell at 13.5K and buy at what price? No one will sell you below market price.

Also, this thread should move to currency exchange section - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0

OP said he is also selling if he is selling it on 13500$ then why is he doing than for he will incur very huge loss. I want to buy if that's the case  lol.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Basic startup costs on: December 16, 2017, 03:03:46 PM
Im interested in mining as well and thanks to all who takes time replying to this post it helps a lot for newbies like me. Looking comments above I gor into conclusion that I should think more due to slow profit in mining.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC Transfer from one wallet to the next stuck in pending on: December 14, 2017, 06:56:52 PM
All, I appreciate the help. Looks like it confirmed overnight when I was sleeping at 2A my time. (about 18 total hours) Can I control the fee coinbase at all or should I just accept it's going to be forever with the congestion of the network? I'll try an accelerator program next time but if it doesn't who up in the diff locations, I can't accelerate it right?

Good for you I also experience that and not finding my transaction hash in blockchain.info really bothers me that time but I can't find any solution so I just leave it as is and the next morning I just see the coins already in my wallet. Most of the time blockchain really having hard time processing transaction I even experience 24hrs of confirmation. There are many accelerators online but I havent tried any and IM afraid which one is legit and how it works.

13  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: December 10, 2017, 04:39:55 PM
Unemployment and being with no source of income is different thing. An unemployed person who make money through bitcoins whether through microtasks, investments, etc he is still counted as unemployed person on country's statistic so I don't agree that bitcoin reduces unemployment.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: What's your vision of cryptocurrencies ? on: December 07, 2017, 01:48:48 PM
Forty years is such a long time to predict what cryptocurrency would be. My goal as of now is just go with making profits with alts as long as they are existing but I really wish they live long because this coins really made a big change in my life. Crypto give me the opportunity that the real world can't provide.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading platform do you use? on: December 06, 2017, 03:19:57 PM
From my own experience, bittrex is the best among of all but not good if you are making withdrawals oftenly due to high transsaction fee. I also used poloniex which has cheap transaction fee compare to other but after hearing lots of comments on their service I got frightened and stop using it. Now, most of the time I am trading on hitbtc.
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: December 04, 2017, 03:42:28 PM
I sold some at 10,900 hoping it will fall again to rebuy in the 9000's as I purchased some around 10,300... Do you guys think another temporary slump will happen soon? Or cut my losses and rebuy now at over 11k?

I had read on a thread posted yesterday that there would be a correction that would took place on blockchain soon and it might pull bitcoin price to drop but no worries as always it would still recover and make another leap.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: December 04, 2017, 12:22:58 PM
Im just starting on bitcoin, yet I really believe on speculation of btc price in the future to be a huge amount so I long as I necessary Im just saving my btc and trying hard not to spend even in single satoshi.

Well if you happen to choose a reputable escrow person on localbitcoin just send your payeer transaction history and tell him there really no money send by the seller he would make a good judgement on your situation. Goodluck
