Same here I actually i don't care what bitcoin current or future price because I'm not using bitcoin as long-term investment but more of  a medium that gives me the opportunity to earn beside my bed and support my daily needs.

If bitcoin die people will look for another coin to invest and reach or even surpassed what bitcoin did. In current time, cryptocurrency will just repeat its cycle over and over again.

I think this is almost same scenario and same thinking people have on previous years the only difference is the number of believers of cryptocurrency and more choice of which coin to investment in.

Almost all exchanges are using high fee currently but try polo thats exchange I know with the least fee so far or try finding someone selling alts you want on marketplace section and just use escrow service for assurance.

Period of volatility for bitcoins will never vanished as bitcoin price is merely depending of trading volume there is in market bitcoin price is still risky and as it goes up the risk increase because even more people want to buy bitcoins for hodling time would come and there would be very little buyers already due to huge value.

The text file itself is not opening?it might be corrupted due to some virus invading your device storage. Or you mean the passphrase you used to copy paste in the text file just suddenly didn't work? If that's the case it is possible that you had unintentionally add or type some character while doing your copy paste act because as you said when you manually type the passphrase you remember it works so I don't think there's hacking involved.

Sad to say some people due to gambling addiction cant realized such thing because once a person enter state of addiction (gambling or any form of) they already loss the ability to think properly so rehabilitation and assistance from outside environment should be be given.

Exchange which is currently under maintenance today is hitbtc, why are you looking for buyers here? Are you in rush? You can easily create new account in other exchange since xrp is scattered in many of them or if you really want to trade in exchange you always you why not just wait for the maintenance to finished? I think it wont last a month, is it?

Those points stated by Gavin is really disturbing facts yet I salute bitcoin for still surviving and pump even more over time I just wish that this issues would be resolved before speculation on bitcoin for being a bubble thingy take place.

Aside from bitcoin is more progressive and as of now more worth it to hold than eth I can't see any other reason but then if you don't have eth only bitcoins and you would need to buy eth for purchasing alts just use your bitcoin to by alt directly.

I think ethereum price will continue to pump. In past, ethereum price has been stable I haven't seen eth to pump and dump deep after yet and because of new ICO that choosing eth as platform for their tokens it's not impossible for eth to have a stable market demand since people need it as fuel for making transactions using their erc20.

The bitcoin bubble issue I guess. Due to btc price volatility the chance of losing bitcoin value in a snap is really there and I guess that's what makes lot of people doubt btc even it has already grow from cents to thousands of dollars in past 10years.

Aside from bitcoin as long term investment Etherium is what I consider a good buy. Im happy how eth is doing since last days of November from being trap in 300$ mark (flactuating up and down but just a bit) it rise to near 500$ hope it continue until pass 1000$ mark sooner.

Hope I was but no. I am a newbie in trading (well almost 8months trying to make profit from it) but I still don't get profit but only losses I always ended up buying the wrong coin or holding and selling and wrong time. I really want to be a good trader so Im still making some good reads to know where I am making mistake instead of having profit.

Why not? The fact is anything that people has the opportunity to make money can lead to curroption, somehow its not the material thing that cause corruption its own choice of people who are powerful and had that dirty hands to work for their own benefits in loss of other people.
