Right now, at what stage is your project?
The current plan is to make a swap. Starting a new chain on a newer codebase, same pow algo same reward structure. The plan is to make a snapshot of the current chain at a certain block height, and put those balances into the genesis block of the new chain. Some of the changes: 1. longer block time (at least 5 minutes, if not more) 2. better difficulty target algorithm 3. PoW forever, coin will remain pos/pow hybrid 3. maybe annon features, not sure about this yet. Why do this: 1. start fresh, leave old bugs behind 2. longer block time, less blocks, faster sync, less confilcts and spontaneus "mini" forks in the network 3. go to current bitcoin codebase, segwit and all the fancy stuff Everything will be announced with enough time in advance. Right now I am still looking for a co-developer to help out with the deployment of this idea. The ideal timing would be march 2018 for the two year anniversary of Nevacoin, but hard to say if everything will be tested enough by then. Do you like the idea? Feedback welcome  Krile, i like your ideas. But what will be coin cap, how many will be created once when you make it POW forever? Second i would suggest to lower number of POS blocks, something like 25% compared with 50% now. Better target algorithm is a must! |

I'm stuck at block 490688  tried to clear my peers and add only peers with latest block - no result Just delete everything, keep only wallet.dat. It would be nice if you have some wallet backup before block 490688. Then start with neva.exe in root of c drive. It must work, happened to me before.... |

Can someone give information what happened if you add coins to your wallet during this 24h period. Are they going to be calculated for the airdrop, or only coins which are in the wallet 24 hours before airdrop starts are taking in to account?

No need to mine Neva coin this days. Cheaper to buy and/or use nicehash to mine for btc then buy Neva at exchange. It is applicable almost for every coin. Some one with big hash power is mining almost every coin and than dump it on market Not smart decision but good for the rest of the community. Just keep mining and dumping i support you who ever you are Only bad thing he bring the chain to halt. Krile, did you find some permanent solution for this? |

We'll revise our distribution model and stop free airdrop.
A few heads up:
1) beta network will stop at block #86400 (in roughly one week);
2) all balances will be transferred to rc network (release candidate);
3) community distribution continues in the next months, depending on progress;
4) there will be no block rewards before community distribution is complete, i.e. block #0 - #500,000;
5) we're right on track, official launch will be in early 2018.

Up to now everything was transparent. Shady distribution can have negative impact on semux further development, value and can bring bad reputation.
