Blockchain'in açılışı 2014 olması lazım)

So I'm running into an issue when I run the build.sh script on Linux.

Code:
/usr/bin/ld: scrypt/fermi_kernel.o: relocation R_X86_64_32 against `.bss' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC
/usr/bin/ld: scrypt/kepler_kernel.o: relocation R_X86_64_32 against `.bss' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC
/usr/bin/ld: scrypt/nv_kernel.o: relocation R_X86_64_32 against `.bss' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC
/usr/bin/ld: scrypt/nv_kernel2.o: relocation R_X86_64_32 against `.bss' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC
/usr/bin/ld: scrypt/titan_kernel.o: relocation R_X86_64_32 against `.bss' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC

ect...

I tried setting my CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS variables to "-fPIC", aswell as just passing them directly to Make, but neither of those worked, so I'm pretty stumped as to what I should try next...

Are you using gcc 5?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Yiimp pools (zpool/ahashpool/hashrefinery) making large payments to non-miners? on: January 30, 2018, 04:21:10 AM
This is why you should mine your own currency to wallets you control and not just hope that these garbage auto switching pools are being honest.

Why give up a portion of your profits just because you are too lazy to manually convert? Ill never understand it.

Auto-profit switching is your answer.
Two days ago while every other pool was doing around 1.85mBTC/MH/day for scrypt. I earned 2.45mBTC/MH/day from zpool.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What are you mining right now ....and why? on: January 29, 2018, 08:01:20 PM
People don't say what they mine on the forums, cause the more miners there are, the more the difficulty increases. Even if your personal 3x1070 wouldn't actually make a difference, posting such info publicly would maybe influence more, larger miners to get on the same coin.

Unless they mine on autoexchange to btc pools where it's more about what algo to mine, than what coin.
If that is the case, it's very easy to take a look at MegaMiner, NemosMiner or SniffDogMiner algo switchers and see what is most profitable most often.
In my case, with the same setup as yours (3x1070), I can see that the most profitable algos are:
- blake2s, x17, lyra2v2 (these all usually mine Verge coin, so if you want you might try that one)
- Neoscrypt (lots of coins use neoscrypt, vivo, guncoin, orbitcoin, crowdcoin, feathercoin, innova, trezarcoin just to name a few), the fact that there's a lot of them makes neoscrypt an algo pretty stable to mine, even if not always the best.
- Phi (Luxcoin)
There are other profitable algos/coins but they usually are very unstable like nist5-bulwark or tribus-denarius. They sometimes top the charts for profitablity and then drop as fast as they climbed, so I removed them.

I don't know how much more worth it is to mine the actual coin and then spend the time to analyze when is best to convert them, it also depends if you want to mine a coin that you think will go up a lot, but then you're also an investor not only a miner, it's your call, but do share any info if you have it.

Totally agree with dude.
Take whattomine as a reference guide. Never blindly follow WTM.
The highest paying algos have other gems too. You need to search.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Yiimp pools (zpool/ahashpool/hashrefinery) making large payments to non-miners? on: January 29, 2018, 07:57:27 PM
Can't speak for other pools, but for me those payouts are combined earnings from masternodes, PoS wallets and fees.

And it's not really an accurate representations of the fees.  There are a lot of miners getting paid in their altcoin of choice but the pool's fee's are always converted to BTC.

The more miners using altcoin as payout will give a false impression in the BTC payouts of the "large fee"

anyway, just a light dusting of FUD on this one but should clear it up enough for you.

thnx
Makes sense. Zpool and Hashrefinery payment sizes are really small to question any bad intent. But Ahashpool needs an explanation.

Concerning Zpool, I'm mining on Zpool for a long time and my realised earnings are always higher than Nicehash.
So although you can find a lot FUD about this pool I'm totally confident they are paying better than many other options.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080 ti power consumption on: January 28, 2018, 08:33:49 PM
while mining...

1. how much power does an optimized system with one 1080 ti roughly consume?
2. how much would a whole setup with x4 1080 ti´s consume?
3. how accurate is whattomine with its numbers?

1. Depends on which algo. Equihash will get around 180W per card.

2. Again depending on the algo and TDP setting. Around 900W on the plug.

3. Usually accurate unless sharp network difficulty rise / netowrk delays.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Question: how much wattag can i draw from my walls. on: January 23, 2018, 12:53:18 AM
There is no correct answer to your question.
*Usually* every room has a different rated line. While common rooms have lower rated wires and breakers designed for lightning and light appliances (tvs, etc), kitchen, bathroom, laundry rooms usually have thicker gauge wiring and higher rated lines.
Unless you have your buildings electrical plan or have deeper understanding you'll never know.
If you don't have any high power appliances in the same room, you should be safe with @Set Ready Go 's calculation.

Yes, all the pool administrators on the planet are conspiring against you to steelz ur hashz...

Unfortunately, I wasted my time on this.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Asrock H81 BTC Pro - Powered riser...or 4 pin molex on: January 23, 2018, 12:35:46 AM
Risers vary in quality and design. Don't get fooled by the "version".
Depending on how many rails your PSU has you should choose different types.
I always go with 6-pin 5557  power connector ones which results in less amps on the PSU wires.

15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Asrock H81 BTC Pro - Powered riser...or 4 pin molex on: January 21, 2018, 12:33:18 AM
Multiple PSUs are not a problem if you connect them with a relay or with a simple multiplier cable.
I think most non-technical people are unable to identify real source of the problems they face.
To my experience, most of the time these problems are caused by a low quality PSU which is a grave mistake.
Faced with power related problems they come to wrong consequence which result in erroneous comments like the one you linked.
So long story short, use powered risers and supply power to 4-pin molex on your board.
I've been using one of that board since 2014 (older version) with no problems.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Asrock H81 BTC Pro - Powered riser...or 4 pin molex on: January 21, 2018, 12:02:26 AM
Using "non-powered" risers is a bad idea.
I don't know where you read that using 4-pin molex on the mo-bo is gonna "fry" or "overvolt" but that is totally wrong.
That power input helps to keep voltage stable. Won't fry or damage powered risers.
Use powered risers and connect the 4-pin molex on your mainboard.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: HashRefinery NIST5 mining hashrate issue on: January 14, 2018, 01:10:15 PM
I see that many people here don't understand the miners table on Zpool and HashRefinery.
Under the miners table you see a "live" hashrate calculation based on your recent shares. That number WILL FLUCTUATE! It's normal.
You'll see a wild fluctuation depending on algorithm, ranging from 20% to 60%.
I'm constantly mining on these pools using profit switching with my in-house developed software. Nist5 and Neoscrypt are frequent algos we mine and I don't see any problem on the poolside.
Our scrypt miners report 200-800MH/s but they always average 550MH/s (slight overclocked, matches hashrate on miner side)
So it is normal, check the hashrate graph, not the live report, and if you mine for short periods It's like flipping a coin.

id 0 is always the main pci-express slot that should be indicated on your mobo manual.
its the upmost, full profile, x16 slot.
That being said. I think you might be having a xorg issue.
im not familiar with simplemining os but all my rigs are running on ubuntu 16.04 server.
Rarely i need to reconfigure xorg or I see similar problems.
Try to reconfigure your OS or burn a fresh one.
20  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Mining Hashrate Wild Fluctuation Issue on: December 17, 2017, 11:33:53 PM
Login to your miner's web interface and click "Miner Status".

Whats your chip temps?
To my experience this should stay under 65 degrees celcius.
Whats the numbers under the "HW" column?
These numbers fluctuate. Ideally should be zero. Over a period of 12 hours i see anything around 8 to 35 on some boards. One of my board goes around 200. Most of them are 0.
Do you see any "x"s under the "ASIC Status" Colums?
You might see this very rarely. If there are many present your chips are probably fried.
