hi habe Interesse an zwei bis drei ungeladenen Münzen. Woran erkenne ich dass die nicht geladen wurde?

Designed to have a heatsink mounted to the back with airflow; I expect this sucker to require some cooling!
If you want to overclock them and expect to much heat, please feel welcome to contact us (anfi-tec) for some watercoolers.
Furthermore for a better packing density.

That might be a good option... I'd need a waterblock that's about 100x30mm.
  • what do you think will the 12 chips produce in heat/Power consumption in idle?
  • and the same with overclocking?
  • how many of these miniboards you plan to put on a backplane/rack?
  • what distance is planned for the pci-slots (with watercooling you can pack them much closer together than with aircooling)
  • are you planing to sell these miniboards?
  • cooling from the backside of the board like the avalonchips?
i am sure that we can't use here one waterblock for two boards like we did with bitburner XX waterblock Sad

12 chips at full rate will produce around 30W.  The 40A regulator probably another 5W.
The bottom of the module has the soldermask masked back to show bare plated copper for good heat transfer.  Yes, cooling from the backside of the board.

Heatsink dimension should be 100x35mm.  I'll get you the mounting hole pattern this evening; they're 2mm mounting holes.

For the backplanes I'm designing now (for aircooling), the slots are 36mm apart.  Here's a render of a 480GH miner on a 16 way backplane:

Could you change your mountingholes to 3.18 mm? I have never seen any smaller mountingholes than M2,5 on electric equipment.

We could offer you an individual water cooler with a size of 100x30x15mm (2 x 1/8 "fittings) ~ 40 € each (> 100)
Are you planning to design another backplane for water cooler?
If yes, i have some suggestions: Try to put more boards on one cooler. Use the front and the backside of the watercooler.

2 short examples:
If you use front and back of the watercooler, the cost per board would only be --> 20 €
If you manage to put 4 boards on a 100x70x15 (2x G1/4" fittings) watercooler ~ 50 € (> 100pieces)
the cost per board would decrease even further. --> 12,50€ per Board.
Another idea is to use multiconnectors from watercooling for grafic-cards.
But i think the small extra-chip with the ?40A regulator? will prevent all this.

example:
2xBitburner XX with one watercooler http://www.anfi-tec.de/forenbilder/13.07.11%20Bitburner/Anfi-tec%20Bitburner%20XX%201.JPG
finished blocks http://www.anfi-tec.de/forenbilder/C006/13.08.30%20Bitburner%20Waterblocks.JPG
And of course with less coolers you have to do less tubing.

@cscape
for you the same: If you want to overclock them and expect to much heat, please feel welcome to contact us (anfi-tec) for some watercoolers.

Regards Andre

Apart from all the requests for a refund,
here some other news:

for all these who want to bring their bitburner to maximum OC,
the waterblocks had left our company this morning to Burnin Electronics.

hope you all get your chips Sad

some users asked some questions about the waterblock http://www.burninmining.com/product/bitburner-watercooler-by-anfi-tec/

1. the missing picture, here one of our latest prototype with anodized surface

(picture shows the 100x80x15mm Version)

2. the block does have G1/4" Windings,... so you can use ever fitting like its used in usual pc watercoolings.

3. we prefer G1/4 plug fittings 90° for hose with 10/8mm, so you can connect the blocks direct on the Anfi-Tec 19″ Mounting Plate for 8 Watercooled Bitburners
(maybe burnin will offer these in the shop also)
Important: Use only with stiff tubing.
Connector: Cylindrical G1/4" thread and for 8x1 hoses (as=10mm outer diameter)
we also want to offer burnin some hose for make some "complete watercooling sets".

4. We were forced to design a very simple (low cost) waterblock that can be produced very fast to not let anybody wait.
So we made a smaller version with 100x80x15mm (burnin tested already with this prototype)
anyway we thinking about cooling the whole wide pcb, so we are planing a 108x100x15mm version, this should also be more powerfull in cooling the vrms.

questions at mountinplates

1. the mountingplates contains the 2 handles

2. you don't need a professional 19" rack to mount them. You can just use a normal shelf or closet what is about 200-300mm deep (depends on the power-suply) and screw it in the front. We will make a photo when we finished the first frontplates for user toolhead.

Hi

I would like to try watercooling for 16 bitburner XX boards but have
never  worked with watercooling before.

Does anybody know about a brief example or instructions how to set up that ?

Thanks in advance, ajas
furthermore to our waterblocks you need some like this components:

as burnin said earlier, the cooler will be for two bitburners and the price difference between aircooling and watercooling should be at ca. 15euro per board.

simple math.

15€ per Board for the watercooler, 280€ for the watercooling itself.

the more bitburners you cool, the "cheaper" it gets.

Watercooling is nothing for beginners, if you have no clue about it, leave it. One leak can kill your bitburners instantly!

Hello,
I am a member of a german watercooling company (all products are made in house)

anfi-tec.de
we are currently developing (for the user toolhead) a custom waterblock for the BitBurner XX Board for maximum overclocking performance combined with a high density--> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=179769.980
and i am the other part of Anfi-tec

count me in for 3
like to hear this Cheesy

are there more projects like the "bitburner XX" ?
"Custom hardware"  the right chanel?

hi all together. I'm new here by a user from the avalon area.

I usually produce waterblocks for computer.
this is my company http://shop.anfi-tec.de/

watercooling made in germany

and maybe someone knows us from another hardware forum:
like:
http://www.overclock.net/t/271025/af-andreoid-finnzwerg-watercool-tinkering-tons-of-pix/560#post_16197344
or
http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1467547&page=100

I just develope a water cooler for "bitburner XX"
the idea is to increase the packing density and to enable problem-free overclocking the boards. questions are of course very welcome.

've heard there are many other BitCoinMiner. so that here is an exciting new area for us.
will now look at a few threads to get a better view on this hardware.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hi alle zusammen.
ich bin neu hier, durch einen user aus dem avalon-bereich.

normalerweise stelle ich wasserkühler für computer her.
das hier ist mein firma http://shop.anfi-tec.de/

watercooling made in germany

und vielleicht kennt uns schon jemand aus einem anderen hardware-forum
http://www.overclock.net/t/271025/af-andreoid-finnzwerg-watercool-tinkering-tons-of-pix/560#post_16197344
or
http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1467547&page=100
