Yes is true...I used a trash account but if you wanted i could use also a hero or  legendary account at difference  of your NEWBIE ACCOUNT...pro NEXO
but not is this the point that interested me
For me is most important warning the people of this scam but if you want taking to we  here an proof you make a TUSD deposit on nexo... otherwise please silent.... that of yours deceptive advertising we have the full of balls

If it's a legit concern, thanks for sharing, I just think there's a lot of reason to think Nexo isn't a scam, and it's more likely that you are mistaken in calling Nexo a scam.

If there's a problem, hopefully their support will step up & fix it, but as I said, I've been monitoring lots of communication about Nexo and haven't heard of this issue.

So, sorry if you're having problems, but labelling them a scam is wrong until substantiated.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEXO IS A SCAM on: January 08, 2019, 11:47:29 PM

Do you want the best proof ever ... a live proofs ?
Create a NEXO account and make from yourself a TUSD deposit  (even small) on their platform

... then come back here and tell us how you threw your money

To be honest, I think it's more likely that a Bitcointalk user with a trust rating of -4 is either at it, or made a mistake, than Nexo is scamming people.

Of course it's possible that Nexo would / could scam, but they've lent out tens or hundreds of millions of dollars against crypto collateral, and so far I've heard of zero users losing collateral, except through liquidation.

I've personally taken out multiple loans with them against my own crypto, and have never had collateral go missing & they have provided a slick service.

I've been following their telegram chat, reddit, and tweets since they began, and this is the first I've heard of a problem like yours.

They have a very slick platform that can provide instant loans in all kinds of fiat currencies to countries around the world... if they've really managed to build such a slick platform and global payment / banking partnerships to just run a scam, I'd be amazed... though it wouldn't be unheard of.

So, I'll be very suspicious of your fraud / scam claim unless you can provide some proof & the issue isn't resolved after a decent amount of time. If a bunch more reports come in that deposits are going missing, I may start to worry, though I think that's quite unlikely.
3  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: JAXX Bitcoin/Ethereum wallet - DO NOT USE on: February 07, 2018, 11:50:24 AM
I'll add my warning to the mix.

Thankfully I haven't lost any coins, but spent a while wondering why my ETH wouldn't send ('transaction failed'). Watched videos on youtube, no solutions worked, so had to end up exporting private keys to My Ether Wallet, which is not a good way of doing things.

My ETH balance is also wrong - I've emptied all of the addresses, and it still lists 4 ETH that don't exist, despite  deleting cash & restoring.

Basically, have a play, but don't trust this wallet with any large amounts.

If it can't even send ETH or display correct balances, it should probably be avoided!

Shame, as it seems like it has potential.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][exchange] alcurex v2.0.1 on: December 20, 2017, 08:33:28 AM
I've had a Bitcoin withdrawal stuck for 16 hours - the fee Alcurex is paying seems too low.

It would be great if there were some volume on BCH or ETH so that withdrawals can be done in a crypto that doesn't need huge fees & have terrible performance.  (Bitcoin).

Hope the fee issue is resolved in time for future withdrawals!

Why is the QORA price in the thousands of satoshis range?

This is because each unit of the asset being traded represents 1000 Qora.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | POS | Assets | Names | Polls | Automated Transactions | Social Network on: September 01, 2017, 04:15:01 PM
Nobody really cares about this project anymore.
Bagholders will say anything in order to dump on naive.

Actually, there are a number of community members and developers interested in progressing development work now it seems that Crowe isn't delivering (or communicating well... he's free to join in if he wants of course).

Discussions are ongoing and actions being planned to either develop the existing implementation, or fork the code and create a new 'community' client that can move forward.

The discussions are happening on the Telegram chat linked a few posts back. Others who are keen to contribute in terms of development, or other ways can feel free to join the chat.

Instead of a full "takeover", another possibility is to start a "Community Edition" with a transaparently managed repository. There the needed fix could be applied first, without ruling out the possibility of a return of the old main developer.

This sounds like a good idea to me.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | POS | Assets | Names | Polls | Automated Transactions | Social Network on: August 22, 2017, 02:32:42 PM
Sigh. I explained it in several posts, already. Help was offered. Help from a competent Java developer who actually knows his stuff, and who is familiar with the source code of the QORA client. He tried and tried, talked to Crowe, did anything humanly possible to get involved and be allowed to deploy that single fix for that bug.

It's not that anyone is waiting for it to "happen on its own". The problem is, Crowe won't let others help get it done, while everyone and his mother is trying to convince him to accept the help he's being offered since ages.

So you don't see any way for the community to move the project forward without Crowe on board?

The software is open source, so if help's available, can't the community ask the dev to fork the code and get on with it?

What needs to happen for the community to move this forward without Crowe if he's not interested (as appears to be the case in practice, despite his words)?

Is there a community? Is Qora worth reviving? If so, what steps should be taken to begin the process & by who?
Everything that's needed (at least for now) is that one freaking fix which we're being stalled upon since months. That's what makes things annoying.

Is there a community? Is Qora worth reviving? If so, what steps should be taken to begin the process & by who?
What QORA needs now is one simple fix which would resolve our current problem.

Great to heart that there's confidence in most of the software and the offering. While it may seem QORA needs a simple fix, the reality is that it needs a community / team who is capable of delivering that fix. It won't happen on its own.

I think the community should start getting organised so that a community can form to support a team that can deliver.

I agree, time to get excited when stuff is delivered, not just promised, and I don't care who is delivering really, and will gladly pay whoever is actually doing good work for Qora.
In ALL of cryptosphere there is no other coin quite like Qora, with such obvious potential, but still hasn't achieved anything significant.
It's Time!

Good to see more enthusiasm.

Seems like this community needs a place / way to start building toward some actual results, including firstly funding developers, then working on marketing etc to get this promising technology up and running again.

I'm a nobody around here, but want to help provoke something (as I hold a few QORA from back in the day).

How should this community get organised to start working toward results, and who can / would like to play a role in that?

Would a dedicated forum be useful?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | POS | Assets | Names | Polls | Automated Transactions | Social Network on: August 20, 2017, 05:08:34 PM
Qora seems to have good potential, but in order to make any progress it needs a community, organisation, a clear vision + direction, and then resources.

Would it make sense for a Qora forum to be set up (perhaps a discourse forum?) so that the community can begin to organise its self towards some kind of progress?

Qora seems to have some great features, but does it offer anything significant compared with competitors?

Is there a community? Is Qora worth reviving? If so, what steps should be taken to begin the process & by who?

Could you please join us on slack and transmit it to @marto or @tonbi to confirm it.

Will do - thanks.

Although I've lost confidence & strongly dislike the way you have conducted yourself, I still wish you all the best and hope that there have just been some misunderstandings and a few lost tempers that led to the unfortunate exchange on the Safe forum.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Ended]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | MultiWallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: July 31, 2017, 10:01:43 PM
Welcome to the forum, are you an investor to say that the investors want to be refunded ?

Thanks for the welcome, even if I've been a member of this forum for about 3 years longer than you have.

Yes I am an investor. As you've said that NVO will offer refunds to investors who want one, can I please request a refund because I've lost all confidence in the NVO team based on the discussion in the MaidSafe forum?

Can you please arrange a refund for my investment of around 0.25 BTC? I can PM details if you're willing to refund me, or should I contact Tonbi, who told people on the MaidSafe forum that he won't offer any more refunds & people should use the counterparty DEX to exit (which is now at a significant loss)?

Please let me know how to get a refund from NVO.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Ended]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | MultiWallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: July 31, 2017, 11:39:48 AM

That is funny if they want to build their own safenet. It seems 10+ years of development is not enough and they can do better  Grin

That's right - and they've said they're going to do it in 4 months. And they already managed to get it working by accident apparently.

They also didn't realise that the SafeNet is already running under testing & say the code is fundamentally flawed (but cannot comment on what this flaw is).

The bizare arrogance / ignorance / nastiness of the NVO team is strange to see play out.

It's a shame that they managed to get $7m from people, and I hope their Escrows offer refunds to anyone who can now clearly see the disgusting character of this team.

Thanks Jabba for making sure there is accountability for what the NVO team has been saying.

However, there's nothing wrong with being 26 - just a lot wrong with being arrogant, abrasive, ignorant, untruthful, threatening, and the likes Smiley

I had the same issue, so the post was helpful for me.

The fact that no dev has even bothered to change the list of nodes to working ones speaks volumes... unless some devs get an interest in Qora it isn't going anywhere.

Edit 2:  provided instructions for adding known peers, but instructions were wrong so I've removed them!
15  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2017 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: April 17, 2017, 02:48:21 PM
it is a known issue which occurs in a negligible % of cases, not that there is a general issue with transfers. We are working on resolving it.

please, let me know if you need any assistance here or whether it works via normal support channel

Ok, thanks for explaining - I'll let you know if I have any problems resolving it, and will pass on any useful information that can help in future cases.
16  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2017 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: April 16, 2017, 04:29:51 PM
please, do not misinform the readers. From your description, it is a known issue, but there is no straightforward solution to it, hence the support team are trying to help the way it's possible to help now. Meanwhile, dev

If it is a known issue that you can't transfer Bitcoin out from what is advertised as a Bitcoin wallet, perhaps you should warn customers of this before they send Bitcoin to it? This kind of issue should be known to customers, not just insiders.

I'm not aiming to mislead anyone. I'm warning people that from my experience Bitcoin withdrawals from a Wirex account don't work as would be expected.

It's now 8 days since I first requested withdrawal of Bitcoin from my Wirex bitcoin wallet and I've not received my BTC despite input from support.

To be more specific, please, provide your support ticket nuber and/or registered e-mail, so that I can follow it up with the support team.

Understand your frustration and apologise for the inconvenience, but no one is holding to your bitcoin deliberately, with all respect, it's quite a lame accusation, given the amount of effort and money we are throwing into improving the product, the long term vision and the investment round just closed with a very serious Japanese conglomerate

If nobody is holding my Bitcoin deliberately, then unfortunately it follows that incompetence in running a Bitcoin wallet service is being displayed. I don't think it's lame to call things what they are.

I'm sure it's not easy to build these kinds of services, and the app in general seems very nice. I hope that this is fixed and that similar issues can be avoided in the future, and that better performing systems are put in place with your new investment.

I appreciate your apology for the inconvenience. I'd rather use the standard support channels to fix this issue and report here how it's going without any special treatment for speaking publicly.

However, if there's any information I can provide following the resolution of this issue that will help you sort the issue for other customers, I'm willing to help where I can.
17  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2017 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: April 14, 2017, 02:16:53 PM
A word of warning about Wirex.

From my recent / current experience, I'd recommend avoiding Wirex - they are either incompetent, or are purposefully holding on to customer funds unnecessarily.

It should never take 6+ (edit: now 8+) days to withdraw BTC from an account.

I put a small amount of BTC on my account to order a card, then when I saw the hidden below market BTC / Fiat rate they offer, I decided to withdraw the BTC.

Since 6 days ago, support have been assisting, and have yet to be able to get my BTC back to me, and they've said it'll be another 2-3 days.

They've asked me to create a new account, and have just transfered the BTC to the new account, but I can't withdraw BTC from that one either.

Wirex are holding on to my bitcoin while they give me the run around. I'm not sure if this is just due to poor systems, or is purposeful. Neither of these options inspire confidence.

Can the wirex rep please let me know - are your systems broken / inadequate, or are you doing this on purpose to hold onto people's funds?
18  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2017 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: April 08, 2017, 10:04:05 PM
Please remember: an exchange rate and a fee are not the same thing.

I don't really mind what it's called. Giving a lower than market rate for Bitcoin to Fiat conversion is an additional cost to the user that isn't mentioned on the web site.

To me, this is just as misleading as FX converters who advertise 'Zero commission' and then provide a terrible conversion rate to make up for it. They're trying to hide costs to the consumer.

Whether you want to call it a fee or not, it's a cost that is hidden unless the user looks into the BTC / Fiat rates elsewhere at the time of loading the card. The size of this additional cost makes it not worth my while using Wirex for now, as I can save money using Local Bitcoins & other exchange methods + my bank.

However, I can see that using Wirex would be simpler, so I'm sure there are many people who are willing to take the hit on poorer conversion rates in exchange for the convenience.
19  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2017 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: April 07, 2017, 03:04:47 PM
It looks good on first glance, with the buy price very close to market rate. I'll definitely consider this one, though like the rest, there are lots of bad reviews around... not sure if it's worth the risk.
20  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2017 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: April 07, 2017, 02:29:02 PM
Exactly. Maybe Xapo?

Thanks for the recommendation.  Do you have a Xapo card, and do you know how close their Bitcoin buy price is to the market rate?
