Ah ****,
The wallet got to 90% again and stopped.
I was looking at other coin wallets and they say *** IMPORTANT! DO NOT SEND ANY COINS TO YOUR DESKTOP WALLET UNTIL SYNCING PROCESS IS COMPLETE ***
Does this mean there's a chance of coins not appearing ever?
You have the private keys so you have your coins. There's a way to export your private keys, without being synced, and use coinomi to move coins so no need to worry. Have you tried leaving the wallet on over night syncing? Thanks Joint, The wallet has been open for a week now and just seems stuck whenever it gets to block 1774970. I hope Hempcoin decides to upgrade their wallet in January, it's one of the worst wallets i've used. If you keep coins on coinomi are they safe and do you get coins if theres a fork?

How do you add extra nodes? i don't have a hemp.conf in my wallet folder right click on a blank area inside the .../roaming/hempcoin folder, click new text document name it hempcoin.conf, (delete any '.txt') (again, confirm you saved as 'hempcoin.conf' and not 'hempcoin.conf.txt') click to open the file, nodes can be added like this: addnode=192.168.1.1:5780 addnode= .... Thanks Groggin

Hi, I've been watching my Hempcoin wallet stay "out of sync" for about a week now. It appeared as if it fully synced all of the blockchains, then just sat there, with no downloading of blockchains still saying "out of sync" next to the word "Wallet"
Then, it randomly syncs additional blockchains at some point during the day. Then completes that, and still says "out of sync". I've never had any of my other wallets do this after completely syncing.
Of course I know that as the minutes, hours progress every wallet keeps up with its blockchain and syncs. But it seems Hempcoin doesn't really fully sync ever.
I would like to move my Hempcoin off of the exchange and stake it. I sent 1 Hempcoin to my wallet, but the wallet of course never received since it is "out of sync". I get that it needs to completely sync in order to receive coins, but I just thought maybe the "out of sync" is just a glitch and it was really synced. But apparently it is not ever synced. Do I need to delete some files in the Hempcoin folder in order for it to completely sync?
I thought I was the only one that this was happening too. I sent coins from bittrex and got the exact same problem. I'm currently re-dowloading the wallet blockchains from scratch. I deleted the blockchain in the %appdata% hempcoin file i think the folder was called tx but make sure not to delete anything else and always a good idea to backup your wallet first. The blocks are still a year behind right now as I download atm and will let you know if my coins appear in the wallet that I sent How do you add extra nodes? i don't have a hemp.conf in my wallet folder

Hempcoin is $THC on bittrex.
My internet isn't the fastest so possible it's that just weird it got to 90% and has came to a standstill.
Would I be able to export the wallet and the coins appear if I import into another wallet?

I'm using the hempcoin wallet for windows from their website and it's taking forever to sync. It has connections but doesn't actually seem to be going down the blocks. (I can see it's using my internet for something) I sent some THC to my wallet thinking it was sync'd and now the balance isn't showing, the address which I sent too has lit up but I've had the wallet open for days. Any idea how to speed it up so to get the coins showing?

Hey Mike thanks for the reply. I'm UK Nothing has been officially confirmed which makes it even worse to be pro-active if anything has happened.I There must be thousands of people that submitted their passport photo recently who could be effected. I'm only a small fry, but with the amount of info Bittrex has on me they know as much about me as I know and including a copy of my passport. I just know my details could be out there but don't want to freeze my credit file as that still reflects badly from what I have read. They say no news is good news and I'm hoping this is the case. If new's comes out that it has leaked my info here's what i think il be doing so far: Reporting my passport as stolen Registering for a credit freeze Change everything associated to bittrex email address Change phone number all things i don't want to do but will have to for peace of mind

interested in a masternode also. How many coins are required for it? Also I just started staking it and idk where i can find faqs about how many i can earn while stakeing. THanks.
Page 1 of this thread: Coin Age Requirement: 45 days for 5% stake...... I stake every 45+ day's or so and get 5%'ish on my stash. .. but i guess it really only works if your not sending and receiving coins cause that maturity resets with each use i believe. Is there any limit on the amount of coins staked? how many are you currently staking? Could you please give a quick discription what it entails to start staking? do i just click the unlock wallet for mining and keep my computer on 24/7? Thanks Perfect, i did see that on front page but doesn't exactly say staking so always best to be sure

Virus detected when trying to download the windows wallet. Is this normal?
Not normal per say but anything to do with cryptos come up with false positives sometimes. I had same issue but nearly everyone would be using it if they have hemp coins so I dismissed the alert and installed. Also sent a email to the devs so hope they can sort out.

I replied to a thread but I may not get a reply so I'm making my own topic. Mod please move If in wrong place . Can anyone tell me how can I tell if I've been effected by this bittrex leak? With all our info including our passports they can easily pretend to be us WTF do i do now? I contacted my phone provider as with our info they can ring up and change our phone number which they gained from bittrex over to another simcard and then bypass all 2 factor for starters including access to our email address if that uses 2 factor code sent to phone. With our info can't search for other places we use our details. not to mention now do I have to be worried about someone using my identity for fraud, making bank accounts and doing what they can to use it to their advantage I don't really want to change my email address for hundreds of sites, I don't want a new phone number but one thing I can't change if they have is my passport info..but I really don't know what to do now ANY ADVICE APPRECIATED https://cryptovest.com/news/bittrex-leaks-passports-shows-user-data-over-unsafe-connections/There's very little news about this currently or even if it's true which i bloody hope its not. but i can't help worry

The website says Hemp Coin works with all dispensaries - thats a total lie. I've called several in Seattle and Denver. They said they have no reason to use crypto when 'cold hard cash' will do. Most people don't even know what Bitcoin is let along Hemp Coin.
I'm out.
One day sir you will be kicking yourself $thc is the coin to have in your portfolio.

Yeah it exists but in this day and age it's getting harder and harder.

Dug up coins? Like you buried them in the field & just dug them up today? There's not much you can do if you've lost them without knowing any information. If they're on a old harddrive you can always try some recovery software.

As long as no laws are being broken then I don't think it's a issue.
I've seen documentaries on tv of 70year olds with 30 year olds, but the main thing is they're happy. who are we to judge?
Some see it as wrong 2 people being in love, yet its perfectly fine to cheat and have every tom, dick and harry inside you.
People are just messed up in the head, nothing better to do than make their life seem so perfect and mess with someone elses.

All you can do is learn from your mistakes.
Virus scan your comp might be a good precaution.
