1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon A1041 Review on: August 31, 2019, 03:37:21 PM
Where are you guys getting these A10s from?
2  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BLOKFORGE- Official Canaan Distributor on: May 17, 2019, 01:22:10 AM
Ja. Blokforge bends over backwards to make their customers happy if you give them 1/2 a chance. They are my go-to place for miners and PSU's.

Gave ya Merit for admitting the Panic error with them.

Maybe not a scam but for sure taking advantage of a situation. On Tuesday  May 7 I pulled the trigger and got a Bitmain Antminer S17 Pro-53TH/s Bitcoin Miner (Shipping April 20 - May 4th). It said in stock so I ordered it, paid Bitcoin. Sent BTC 0.53701226. Order was processing a few days with no update, I emailed them On Friday May 10 requesting an update and their answer back was Bitmain was being cagy with their order and would let me know on Monday. So now extending out this processes, I am really starting to think I am being scammed. We were enjoying a nice BitCoin run and the value was rising. I get an email from them Tuesday May 14, now a week after they accepted my Bitcoin for a product they did not have and know they might not get while Bitcoin is going up and up. So they now inform me that they will send me back BTC 0.37097. So I just paid them $1200 to hold on to my Bitcoin for a week. That's a pretty high handling rate. Just know that if you pay Bitcoin with these retailers they do not have to be honest and upfront with you and WILL accept money for items that they do not have in stock. I hope this helps someone in the future.

Hi i want to mine with cgminer-3.7.2-windows, with my 750gtx-ti, yes i know i would probably never get some or little pay outs but i just want to try it out.
No. You will never get any payout whatsoever. Zilch. Nil. Nothing. Nada. You might earn 1 cent in a year. To get into the payout queue might take you 50 years at that rate. Just don't do it at all. Mining bitcoin with a GPU - any GPU, is completely futile. There's a reason I completely stopped supporting GPU mining and consciously removed it from cgminer, so please don't even go looking for support for it. I actively discourage people from doing it because it shares virtually NOTHING with how bitcoin is currently mined and is a futile - and potentially very expensive - exercise.

Hi there, like i just said that's not about the money....i just want to see it work,i don't care if it costs me money, i just want the experience and learn from it...not all people are just like you:)

What I think they are tying to say is that you wont get paid anything or learn much. You do not have enough power to even learn from it. Sorry but them the facts.
4  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 3-phase power potential problems. on: October 09, 2018, 12:12:02 PM
Whoa that’s a lot of power. Like Fuzzy said you need to use a licensed electrician. Rule of thumb, if it hums hire someone. 480v is no joke and should be dealt with accordingly. What you are trying to do is easy as long as they are legit. Good luck.
5  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BLOKFORGE- Official Canaan Distributor on: September 25, 2018, 02:16:41 PM
They are not a scam I have spent a good amount of money with them and they always deliver. I know that they are scrambling with these tariffs so be patient and they will take care of you. Good luck.

Yeah and then the other discussion got locked. Guess no A9 talk for us. Lol

Why so little talk about the new A9 series? I’m pretty excited about it. Any pricing guesses?

Because nobody knows where this thread went.
9  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Canaan anounces Avalon A9, 30TH/s 1700w mining SHA256 on: September 10, 2018, 10:19:17 PM
I have been turning off my 741s as they are loosing too much and replacing them with 841s, they still loose but almost even. With the specs for A9s I can get them into a Co Location space and really make a run at this. (-;
10  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Canaan anounces Avalon A9, 30TH/s 1700w mining SHA256 on: September 10, 2018, 05:38:43 PM
Hoping for closer to the $1000 price point but that's just me wishing.

I would think 1300 to 1600 I think they will beat the W10 price.

But it is only a guess

the Innosilicon T2turbo is 82 watts and 1700 after shipping
the whatsminer M10 is about 1900 after shipping

I think canaan will beat the prices above.

and I think bitmain will continue to sell cheap s9J gear

Really excited about the A9. Any spec on price?

A bit surprised no one is talking about this. The best efficiency SHA256 miner to date from a company known to manufacture very reliable machines.
Price to be announced.

Wonder how will Bitmain respond to this?

No release date yet. I had a deal and these worked great, deal went away and now paying power in California is very expensive. I am selling off these and will keep my 841s going then going to get some A9s when they arrive and send them to a co location place. Best I have found is .08 per KW.

Hello everyone, I am consolidating my farm and am selling my Avalon 741s. This is a complete system including PSU, controller and all the cords needed to plug into 240v. Please PM me or bid on this if possible. I wanted to post this here hoping it can be pointed at CKPool. Getting ready for the new Avalon 9 series. Thanks.

Good day everyone. Just curious, does anyone use Co-Location services here. I have maxed out where I am at and want to keep expanding? I have called a few places but not sure if its a right fit. Looking for any recommendations. Thanks in advance.

I recommend checking out Dalkore's list of colocation service providers.
thank you.
