10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie question -_- bitcoin download on: July 22, 2013, 04:58:39 PM
In my opinion, I would go with the original bit coin-qt wallet for the most safe/stable one out there
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining Performance Evaluation on: July 22, 2013, 04:56:31 PM
Interesting. I'd like to know whether a similar trend exists for Nvidia cards.

As would I as I have a lot of NVidia hardware for gaming and not many amd/ati cards
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Multi GH/s Hardware on: July 22, 2013, 04:54:57 PM
Instead of going for that, I would buy 3k worth of GPUs and mine some alts if you are looking for a low cost way to make money.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: FREE BTC WANT TO BUY TRUST RATINGS on: July 22, 2013, 04:52:24 PM
I want to buy trust ratings

Will pay 0.01 btc per positive trust plus 0.00001 btc per "Risked BTC" if the amount is sane

just make a trade up

that is counterproductive and pointless. You are better off trying to gain trust legitimately.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newby on: July 22, 2013, 04:48:48 PM
Hello all ,
Former jarhead here looking to get into the BTC market , I see there is a lot of info on this site and reading it daily, but any and all input about the business will be appreciated

Check out the alt section, there are a lot of cheaper/more interesting options there. Plus they can be more easily mined.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Escrow on: July 22, 2013, 04:46:54 PM
Agreed, JohnK is the best escrow, but there are also a lot of other possible escrow providers with various ups and downs. Also, keep in mind escrow with paypal is kind of pointless (paypal can be charged back unless the escrow is 45 days)

Chargebacks can happen even later than that with PayPal... There's some real horror stories out there.

If it were me, I would just try to avoid paypal in general
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone want to buy my batch 3 avalon. IN HAND! on: July 22, 2013, 04:45:14 PM
who's interested in a avalon miner capable of doing 82GHS?

Place your offers here.

Do you have an idea of what you would be looking for it?

18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: "Newbies" is the most dangerous subforum on this entire site! on: July 22, 2013, 03:03:47 AM
At least there is always escrow to help legitimize things Smiley
