We are using back-end like a storage and for notification. All sensitive data encrypted only on the user's devices.
If someone will hack us, they just know users transactions history and balances. But this is already public data.


I'm sorry for that. Right now we have some build documentation. In the next week we'll make and test all guides for the project.

We are planing to implement bitcoin lighting network. So SegWit is the necessary part of it. But right now our major goal is to add Ethereum ERC20 Tokens.

Hi. We just released first version so a lot of functions are still not implemented.
"Exchange" - In the nearest time we'll integrate Ethereum, so users can exchange BTC for ETH and so on.
We are looking third party APIs to implement this feature. Right now there are 2: ShapeShift and Changelly.

We are planning to make wrong pin input data deletion as a part of user's settings. So you can define the way how the app will react this situation.

Need more feedback 

We pay additional attention to the inner data encryption, especially to the private keys. On the rooted devices middleware can get access to this data and all your funds can be stolen.

So, in such case we decided to exclude rooted devices from current support.
But, if you can root your device, you also can make your own Multy app from source code, without root check


 Magisk - we have made contribution to the https://github.com/scottyab/rootbeer , but they didn't released it yet

Full app description

It's inspired by true blockchain ideology, that is:
- you shouldn't trust anybody
- you are the only person that have control over your crypto assets
- no trusted third-party is required to make transactions
- all transactions go directly into blockchain nodes.

Multy’s main features are:
1. No registration needed. Just write down your seed phrase someplace safe and you can restore access to your assets from any other device.
2. Your seed phrase and private keys never leave your device. Furthermore, they are strongly encrypted and stored.
3. It is safe against rooting your phone. If somebody stole your phone and tries to take control over your assets, Multy detects that and erases all stored data.
4. Easy backup - the only thing you should care about is your seed phrase. With that you can restore access to your wallets from any device.
5. User-friendly interface - we ran extra mile to provide you with the best UX and the most responsive UI.
6. Everything under control - you have absolute control over your assets, transactions, fee amount, wallets, and funds.

As for alpha version we only support Bitcoin, but more crypto assets are coming soon.


Security.

As we mentioned before, all local data is strongly encrypted with AES-256 algorithm. And we took extra care to prevent any other app or process from accessing it. Rooting the device wouldn’t help either - that is immediately detected and local data is purged to prevent unauthorised access.

We do send some data to our own servers, but only data that is public anyway:
- your wallet addresses
- your wallet amount
- ip address
- signed transaction to put it into blockchain node.

We also send some additional data in order to improve your experience:
- device id
- push token for push notifications
- UI analytics events to improve UX over time


So in unlikely event of our server being hacked, your assets are not going to be compromised!
