1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Some People Do Not get Paid After Bounty on: July 09, 2018, 10:04:22 PM
I have realized after some personal experiences why some people do not get paid after doing a bounty. While there are some projects who would not pay you, you still have to consider the fact that some of your actions do translate to you not being paid. Here below i will list why some people do not get paid.

1. They do not follow the rules. It is known that some people will buy a new piece of gadget and fail to read the owner's manual and when later problem comes, they start complaining. It is same with doing bounties. You do have to read the rules and follow them to the later.

2. When the rules are updated, they do not know and thus suffer from it. This one reason why people do not get rewarded. You have to be visiting the bounty thread or page to know if there is an update or checking social channels mostly Telegram.

3. People using your username and copying your content (blog). If you are doing bounties, its good you continuously check the spreadsheet to report any one who you see using your name or copying your work. This is important else some bounty manager may blacklist you thinking you are one doing or just blacklist both you and the one using your details.

4. Finish the bounty program. You may have noticed that the spreadsheet of bounties you have done shows that some people took off their signature prematurely. You just have to finish it else you wont get paid. This is like following the rules.

5. When you are told not to mention bounty in the main telegram group, just stick and obey the rule.

6. If a project advises for KYC and you dont like, just dont do it.

Thank you. hope this helps somebody to know where they have messed up previously.

Over and Out.

This is some interesting compilation. Sadly many people do not get paid owing to various reasons which could be to their own mistakes or ignorance. Nice revealing post up there
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover on: July 09, 2018, 09:58:28 PM
I wish I was joking but this market will take at least 2 years to recover and build momentum again.
Market fundamentals have changed!

Here we have a prophet. Cryprocurrency market is unpredictable because it's sentimentally influenced. However the time it takes, the market has now grown mature. And I love it for how matured it has gotten to.

As favourable regulations comes onboard,  bigger players will come out to play
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price dropped on: July 09, 2018, 09:54:28 PM
Rise and Fall is what
Cryprocurrency is about. That is what is called volatility. The trend over the years has been if it drops, the next rise will surpass the previous high. But these markets recently does causes on to question things he knows.

but then this is Crypto. Dyor
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for Airdrops: A bad precedence on: July 09, 2018, 09:48:30 PM
It's interesting to know this thread is still alive and not kicked to the recesses of outdated posts.

I still will continue to Echo it loudly. KYC for airdrops is terrible. Anyone submitting info for pennies worth tokens is risking himself or herself
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency market dropped on: May 26, 2018, 02:54:35 PM
Honestly, this is really getting on my nerves. I was away for some hours then came back to see all is red. I don't usually day traders but I hate to see my investment going down like dieing flies
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if your dreams can become a reality with crypto? on: May 20, 2018, 10:45:53 PM
I don't think I understand what this post is about. Are you starting an ico project about dreams of people or you want to what?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A good ICO is also a Scam. on: May 20, 2018, 09:56:47 PM
It's very easy to call that which you do that know a scam because you don't understand it.

The fall in price has nothing to do with the project being a scam. It's simply supply n demand workings
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 15000 in this year. on: May 20, 2018, 09:54:12 PM
I think Ethereum will be worth $15000 or more in this year.
What you guys think ?

Ethereum is currently trading at 700$. To get to 15000$ means it has to grow about 25 times or more. That means the market capitalization would grow like that too.

I don't think this is gonna be this year. But Wat do I know?  Anything is possible
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is The Bitcointalk Forum The First DApp? on: May 20, 2018, 09:50:08 PM
Any input to this post?  I saw this and couldn't just keep it without getting other inputs
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is The Bitcointalk Forum The First DApp? on: May 20, 2018, 08:55:45 AM
*Do We Have A Smart Contract Fin In Bitcointalk?*

Bitcointalk is a forum created by Bitcoin creator. It's a place where discussions on the whole cryptocurrency community is done. It's also a place to earn good money.

We do know (if you don't, know now) that bitcoin holds some features of smart contract functionality.

Considering the fact that if you are to pay for evil on the forum because of a restriction on your account, you will be presented a unique bitcoin address where you will send your payment to.

Upon effecting payment, your account automatically gets unrestricted.

Is this a smart contract functionality?
Does bitcointalk qualifies as the first DApp?

Note: Don't know if the Evil Payment started before the launch of Ethereum.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Verge (XVG): The Banks have Said Yes to Verge, What Next? on: May 20, 2018, 08:52:30 AM
The partnership relationship between TPay and Verge is really cool. I don't understand their relationship though but it's a good deal for xvg.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this true ? on: May 19, 2018, 07:14:38 PM
i think facebook is serious about to create their own cryptocurrency
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/11/facebook-cryptocurrency-reportedly-in-the-works.html

what do you think about this guys ?
If they are going with their own, there would be airdrop to users to drive the price  upward and for utility on the platform. I think mostly institutional or accredited would participate in the ico
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think ethereum is the best blockchain protocol? on: May 07, 2018, 10:54:38 AM
Do you think ethereum is the best blockchain protocol?

Ethereum was the first to bring about smart contracts functionality. It's not the best it's just the first n well known for now.  Therr are various players coming into the field with their various mind blowing functionalities yet.  Let's just wait n see
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can You Join An ICO By Just Reviewing A Project's Team Background? on: May 07, 2018, 10:52:05 AM
This is just like saying you can buy a packaged food just because the package is of a color you love. While the package is fine you still have to check what the food was made from. If it's halal or if it is expired.

Likewise you consider an ICO in totality. You consider the uniqueness of the idea or technology and how they intend to achieve their goals.

Ask yourself of they can truly achieve what they set forth to.
Do they have competition? If yes how can they survive.
How good is their marketing strategy etc
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC might trigger a bloodbath today on: May 07, 2018, 10:48:11 AM
If you look at charts you will see that the withdrawals started yesterday.  Many coins/tokens ate in red right now. If Ethereum gets classified as security it will impact crypto on a foundational level but let's am very much optimistic about it
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can the ICO scams be identified? on: May 07, 2018, 10:45:47 AM
Truth is you can't be right one hundred percent. Though there are careful ways to avoid a scam but we are dealing with humans who can change at any moment.   A legit project could turn into a scam for whatever reason.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why peoples launching more coins everyday ? on: May 06, 2018, 09:19:59 PM
Some are after making quick money while others are bringing legitimate solutions to problems faced by people. But I think mostly it's the scams that is much
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be fooled. on: May 06, 2018, 09:13:41 PM
You are very correct. ICOs are just way to collect money from people with the sole object of growing or starting their businesses at the expense of investors. This is why investors have to be careful when investing in them.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will every crypto coin survive? on: May 06, 2018, 09:09:13 PM
Not all the coins that started out this year will survive till the end. Others may die out n some will stay strong.

Adoption is very much important for any coin or token to stay strong. Once it's not there, 0 then down down it will go
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where is the tech? on: May 06, 2018, 09:06:35 PM
hi there

i am really getting bored. i am interested in the tech of all these altcoins too. but in this subforum nobody is takling about it.

ICOs, bounties or airdrop, how to get rich fast, investment short or long term, bla bla bla.

arent there any news about technology of all these coins that are out there? do i have to leave and find a new forum?

Truly this current wave of money making is creating huge volume of irrelevant information on this forum.  Before registering on this forum, when I search google I always find good tech stuffs here but since I joined,  not much has been seen.
