I believe Ronaldo and Messi both are unpredictable as for how much longer they would play at their national teams. I won't be surprised to see both of them in the next World Cup. But would they continue longer than that? There is a big question mark there.  The end of an era is going to come sooner or later. I have grown up with watching these 2 legends in their primes. I guess my generation is the luckiest.  Of course there are always legends in different timelines. In the future people will probably call players like Mbappe, Haaland as new legends. They both are on this path for now also. |

By the way, I'm pretty curious about what will happen to Manchester City. As a reminder, there are 115 charges against them by the PL. It has been 2 years so the other teams in the PL aren't very positive about the potential result. A source related to the case: BBCI also can't be very expectant from this situation though. The result of the case might be seen by the early 2025 the latest. If Manchester City is found guilty, finally  , then they might even find themselves in Championship. Can you imagine them being there with a squad and manager like this? It would be the most shocking news but I don't think this will happen for real. Probably a financial punishment would be seen I think. |

I do believe that it was some kind of racial discrimination and abuses going on in the Germany team that was the reason of their drop in the past years in anything that concerns international football. This actually started when Ozil was publicly mistreated and no one addressed the issue. Now they have a vibrant young coach maybe the ideology will change and the team will perform better this season. However in almost all the recent euro competitions, England is known in parading more fierce squad than Germany. But they are somewhat unlucky to win the cup even last season that they nearly made it, we couldn't believe that Italy that was not inform denied them the opportunity.
This time around let us see what Southgate has for us, as we can see this evening Fabrizio already updated that he has dropped Madison. Being confident of dropping Madison should show the readiness of the England squad.
Maybe it also had some affect on Germany's downfall yeah. Anyway, I believe Nagelsmann is a quite decent manager. He has a good potential to be successful. His being German is another plus for German national team.  The dream for them would be to win a Euro or World Cup title with such a young manager. If they have a good chemistry between then we might even see a fast evolution in their performance. For now I see them as a dark horse. About Southgate, I just believe he is pulling this team down. For many years he couldn't achieve a single title with such great squads. Isn't it time for England to look for a better manager already? I guess they would if he fails in Euro 2024. |

Among all this three countries here I dont think why you actually rate Germany lower, but I get its a thing of predictions and everyone has its choices. England is always a favourite to any tournament every time they participate in, but they always ends up disappointing. The France squad yeah has the quality and the experience too to take it home. The introduction of Kante back into the team is actually a very good move by Deschamp, he is one of the reasons why I think France will go far, the experience of the coach is vital to the tournament and Deschamp has it. As for Germany, I think they are better in my opinion than even England because of their quality.
I just can't trust them as much as England for example. The reason why is, you know Germany haven't been the same old team for many years. You would remember those legendary times of them. Nobody was able to stop them those days. But for quite a long time, they have been performing way worse. This is making me have second thoughts about them. Now they have Nagelsmann to manage. He is quite a young manager and I wonder what kind of an impact he will make. Germany have promising young talents but we will see how far they will help Germany in Euro 2024. |

And Im not sure why the eliminated clubs cannot take part in the Europa League, because it will only cause the prestige of the Europa League to decline.
I also didn't know about that until looking into the details of the new format. I also got surprised. Because I believe this was making the Europa League more attracting thanks to additional quality teams coming from the Champions League. It looks like Sevilla won't be able to have any such challenge as of now. They can't even finish at top places in the La Liga though. Interesting? If earlier out of 32 (which was already too many) teams, 16 were eliminated, now only 12 out of 36 are eliminated. If we project this onto the old format, it turns out that this is equivalent to the fact that out of 32 teams only 8 would be eliminated. This is a fucking circus and a disgrace. The group stage was rotten even before, but now it will be a set of dull friendly games, the result of which will be the same set of teams in the playoffs. It is really not easy to satisfy everyone I'm afraid. I was okay with the group stage format for example but I have no idea how I will feel in this new format now. I just hope that I like it also. I don't even know why they felt the need of such change. Of course not everyone was pleased with the previous format but they still continued with it for so many years. |

Not a Red Bull fan here. However I would still like to see a more deserving driver instead of Perez. He is damaging the team in every way. Not only by struggling to keep up with Verstappen but also with high costs of accidents etc.. I don't blame the accident in Monaco GP on him of course but still you know. Red Bull would already bring a better driver though. But as you said, it is all about what Verstappen wants. But if only we were able to see a driver like Ricciardo's Red Bull career times. The in-team rivalry was at top level then. |

Yeah it is better to mention the new format as of 2024 season also. - There is no more group stage, it is going to be rather a league just as in its name.
- There are going to be 36 teams instead of 32.
- Every team are going to play against 8 different teams, half of them home games and the rest is away.
- Top 8 finishers are qualifying for last 16 directly. The teams placed from 9th to 24th are playing a two-legged playoffs to earn their way through last 16. The remaining teams in the league are eliminated.
- There is no more dropping to the Europa League as of now.

It was a really competitive game indeed. I only needed Hurkacz to win against Dimitrov but he failed too hard. Maybe you can still promote to Division 2 through playoffs who knows. Congrats @shogun47 and @Kokee44 for your direct promotions! I wish I was in shogun47's place. But missing one week has even cost me my playoffs chance. Damn, how did I miss that alarm... My target next time is going to be direct promotion. No matter I achieve my target or not, I'm having fun anyway of course. But a promotion would motivate my team much more though. |

England have a strong squad but so do others. The team that stands out for me is France, they are my favourites to win the tournament. They have world class players all over the pitch.
Germany, England and Spain are strong but I just feel like itll be France celebrating on 14th July.

- Germany => 6.50
I would expect France to be favoured the most normally so I'm surprised. Maybe reaching Euro 2020 final also has some effect on those odds for England. But France are a much more disciplined team you know. Player quality is also amazing, starting with Mbappe. But France haven't been able to win a trophy here since Euro 2000. Maybe this is a chance to end this. It looks like Germany are benefiting from being the hosts. They have skilled players but for the trophy? I'm not trusting them as much as England - France duo. |

When the matchup was decided I checked the h2h and got really worried after seeing Dimitrov bulldozing Hurkacz by 5 wins in 5 games. I don't also find Southgate's choices fully correct. Luke Shaw has been injured for months indeed. Why would you call him for national squad?  Jadon Sancho hasn't been called at the same time. I don't think he is performing as bad as the time he was at Manchester United. He has started improving at Dortmund but interestingly not being called. I think he did okay with not calling Rashford. He had a terrible season. If I were in Southgate's place I wouldn't also call him while there are attackers on the rise deserving the national duty more than him. |

 The starting XI's are as above. It is getting more exciting as time passes. There is less than half an hour left for the big final game to begin. I hope Real Madrid don't get ahead in the first half already. Otherwise my chance to get a draw in the current round of BSFL is going to vanish. I still predict Real Madrid to become champions like most people though. It looks like an inevitable ending for me. Real Madrid are very good at crisis management also by the way. Even if they get behind I think they would found a way to come back. But for Dortmund, I'm not that confident. |
