Still have difficulty to follow the impression of safety, when it comes to an online-wallet.
Repeatedly heard, several major platforms got hacked and the loss of coins.

Just came in the hack of Bitcoin on NiceHash

also Ethereum:

Which reasons do I have to assume, that the Waves-Plattform will remain exempt from such experiences / losses?

I just got interested using Waves.

But I became sceptical, since I found no way to store my coins, in a wallet, that's convincing secure.

Using an online-wallet does not give me the impression, that my coins are secure: what if the online-plattform gets hacked or corrupted?

The wallet-app for the Google-Chromium Browser is either not convincing: I need to trust in Google, which is hard if not impossible, when watching their way of business.

Is there an alternate way of storing my tokens / coins offline in some kind of wallet, that's not based on Google software and not on a server online?

I would like to have an open-source-wallet, where I could store my coins offline, maybe an USB-stick.

Thanx for help with this issue I'm having with waves.

This question is still unsolved for me.

I'm not comfortable having Google controlling my crypto-money, what it does, when I'm using the Chromium-App.
And can we know, that the the Online-Web-Client stores our waves in any case, while there may be hacking of the server occuring?
I know, that several people lost their Bitcoins after storing them online.

I might trust an Wallet-Client, which is open-sourced an transparent - hope something like this will appear in the near future.
