I just got interested using Waves.

But I became sceptical, since I found no way to store my coins, in a wallet, that's convincing secure.

Using an online-wallet does not give me the impression, that my coins are secure: what if the online-plattform gets hacked or corrupted?

The wallet-app for the Google-Chromium Browser is either not convincing: I need to trust in Google, which is hard if not impossible, when watching their way of business.

Is there an alternate way of storing my tokens / coins offline in some kind of wallet, that's not based on Google software and not on a server online?

I would like to have an open-source-wallet, where I could store my coins offline, maybe an USB-stick.

Thanx for help with this issue I'm having with waves.

They have their own DEX, why dont you download your client and start storing your coins in there? if your pc is safe, there is nothing of what you should be worried about.

But I became sceptical, since I found no way to store my coins, in a wallet, that's convincing secure.

You are trying to look for a wallet that accepts Waves, but none of them (trezor - ledger) are accepting waves, because it is a coin that doesnt have much marketcap, and it is not having a huge demand at the moment.

Using an online-wallet does not give me the impression, that my coins are secure: what if the online-plattform gets hacked or corrupted?

Use their dex, that is one of the most safest things that you can do

I used waveswallet.io it is safe wallet. The DEX interface isn't user friendly. I think waves is good coin , the only thing that I don't like is DEX, I think waves developers should modify the dex so the dex will be user friendly.

I've been using waveswallet.io for a couple of months and I don't see any problems using their platform. I really much agreed also that this wallet is totally safe and secured too. In fact, I hold some of it i a long term also.

I use the Wavesliteapp for Macbook. I have been using it since I first bought Waves about 5 months ago. The only problem I see on it is sometimes who I login to the wallet, it doesnot show anything and I have to close it and login again, then it works without problem.

Yes, waves is a safe wallet but their platform have not much buyers support and you cannot sell easily. Its wavelite extension of google chrome is very easy to use and safest but only negative is that not many buyers there.

Still have difficulty to follow the impression of safety, when it comes to an online-wallet.
Repeatedly heard, several major platforms got hacked and the loss of coins.

Just came in the hack of Bitcoin on NiceHash

http://fortune.com/2017/11/21/bitcoin-price-ethereum-price-tether-hacked/

also Ethereum:

Which reasons do I have to assume, that the Waves-Plattform will remain exempt from such experiences / losses?

There is no hardware wallet supporting waves now. Try the official wallets, there is a client. It is the best I can find at the moment.

If you are afraid of losing your money, use a hardware purse. There's no one stealing your money. For example, Trezor.
