Is this project still alive? Zero movement of price since the last few months.
At beginning: sorry for my english. Good question, I hold my KMDs half year but now I want to sell this shitcoin. I was all in, around 8k KMD coins on bittrex. People here exciting so much bcuz "KMD GROW IS GOOD/YEAR" - no, its not, price just follow BTC. Check other "SHITCOINS" and u will see same % of growth/year as KMD. They are doing "DOING" much work like they say in this project, they bla bla atomic swaps and many more but they forgot about PPL. Nobody using KMD, many ppl needs it maybe, admins dont care about adverts, they are living in this project by themselves, some friends around and little ppl from tweet/fb/this forum. I can make 10 tons of GOLDEN shit in my garden at home, but who cares? Whats the point? Is it good? Its nice? Who cares if nobody comes to my garden? This is KOMODO. I dont want tell u that price will never moon, maybe it cauld, maybe not. Time for QQ defenders who will say: THEY ARE DOING GOOD THEY WORKING HARD WE DID BLA BLA ATOMIC SWAP WE HAVE MORE PPL !!! WE BLA BLA, YOU KNOW NOTHING * Price is moving bcuz of btc, they did milion things 2017 and it was maybe 20 % of price influence. Bye KOMODO team, I hope you will atomic swap your ass with mouth. It doesn't matter though, what matters is people loosing patience because one random fuck of delay. Every update mnz makes is just an update on how they are redoing their roadmap or shit like that. I would never bash kmd btw, even if I got banned from telegram cuz apparently you cannot question things in crypto anymore cuz instaban. Im holding kmd long term but have cut my bags by alot until there is a dICO launch. Hopefully we won't have to wait for mnz. No matter how much people try deny this the fact still stands, the dICO platform is a big reason to why people are interested in kmd to begin with and you can't simply delay it for months in this fast moving crypto space. Edit: Telling people they are impatient when they have waited since the first dICO launch date is a big error btw. For how long do you expect people to zip it and just wait and wait? At this point there is no single news on whats happening with the dICO. Do you think its fair to plan the launch on the 12:th of November, postpone it and say it is just temporary and then 3 months goes by and still nothing. What in the fuck gives you the right to tell people they are impatient when its clearly justified? If you are gonna give me the usual "they are working" hard bullshit, well then yeah don't bother. It is sad to see people who act impertinent because they don't like a project and then go on rants. It reminds me of a jealous girlfriend/boyfriend who goes crazy after they dump him. For which purpose are you attacking us? None other than to feed your ego. Here is the truth. Komodo will continue with or without you. Period. Your comments are meaningless to those who are side by side with us. Dam that is harsh. Im sure you'll do great without me. I was never attacking Komodo, I've spread nothing but love for the project. I was just trying to understand the problem regarding dICO delay. However you decided to go on personal attack spree and make up a few assumptions instead of trying to give any insight at all taking to consider it has been 3 months. Your complaint is that you're not investing in it; so, there's that. ...isn't keeping promises or whatever it might be....

Not sure how pointing out that words have meaning makes me a fanboy of anything other than word, but OK... ...My future value estimates about kmd was based on wrong information, eg. dICO massive delay, not about if crypto will survive or not...

Dumping your profits low to protest an imaginary slight only hurts yourself; so, there's that... Your writing alot but you are not saying anything at all. As far as we (the public) knows, the dICO is ready to go but Monaize is delaying. Why is there no other project running instead or at least give us some information about it. If someone starts to ask questions you begin to bark like a dog instead of coming with some relevant counter. I actually got banned from Telegram for asking about the delay. The censorship is pretty disgusting, it is either that or "personal assumptions" discussions with people like you. I simply just want to know what is going on. |

If we're going to be profane about it, the real question is: What the fuck gives you the right to be enraged over the release of something that may, or may not, have some assumed future value? Trying to buy some chips but its not working. Deposited some kmd 0cnf swap. I guess that the problem is nobody is selling? Is there some way to check how chips coins are distributed? 20 kk circulating supply, who owns all these coins?
Would also be helpful if someone could explain what the following means? Depth, Age, Utxo and Zcredits?

It is supposed to open in a few days. Just wait a bit. I don't think they will fix it before the deadline. Why do you think they won't?
I like how you dishonestly use the word "swap" to imply a 1-to-1 trade of BTCD for Komodo, when in fact what actually happening is massive dilution of BTCD bagholders' equity.
First, a swap doesn't necessarily mean 1-to-1. Second, even if it did, that would mean they dishonestly make you think you'll get 1 KMD for 1 BTCD instead of ~50 KMD for 1 BTCD, indeed they are fooling you big time (sarcasm in case you don't get it). Third, do you even know what dilution means? If anything could happen here it would be the complete opposite. If we assume that something like 2% isn't swapped in time, that would mean that 98% of the BTCD supply will be locked/burned/whatevs making BTCD as scarce as it gets. Assuming it is still exchangeable for whatever reason, this could create room for crazy high prices. (I'm not encouraging anyone to speculate on this.) Keep in mind that our BTCD are stuck in staking and the blockchain is not moving. Just 2-4 blocks every 2 days. Mine are stuck for 20 days and there are just 35/110 confirmations. I won't be able to swap. Don't ask me why I opened the wallet for staking. My intention was to send them to bittrex and while the wallet was locked, i entered the password for sending and it gave me stake. More than 200 btcd are stuck, probably for ever. The only thing I can say is if it is possible to send the wallet.dat to the kmd team so they send me the kmd or get a 6 months extention for the swap. Otherwise I am screwed. I do not think I am the only one. A lot of people sold their kmd to buy btcd and do the swap. Idk if you are one of them but damn that is a shitty move to make. Imo I hope everyone who did this the last month gets rekt. |

Komodo has gone a long way and honestly the core architecture is impressive but.... Im getting impatient now as to where and when the first dICO would happen. I mean the original date was Nov 10 2017. New year is fast approaching and all the dev are saying is GUI related issues. Monaize team is ready and marketing side is already in full battle gear. Hope by next week there will be a new development.
Unfortunately I agree. When dIco was postponed we were told it was going to be for a short while and I honestly thought we were talking about 2 weeks tops. I might not understand or appreciate how much work you guys are putting into the project but going from almost launching the ICO to postponing for 2 months and still counting without any comfortable news is pretty disturbing. Edit: Did my first atomic swaps today between chips and kmd but im wondering how Barterdex will be able to decide price between different coins and when charts will go live? |

Im exploring a bit on Barterdex. Im trying to do my first swap but I get this error "can't find alice utxo that is close enough in size". Im sorry if this has been adressed before but I could use any help I could get.
I changed the error message to: "cant find a deposit that is close enough in size. make another deposit that is just a bit larger than what you want to trade" one difference with barterDEX is you are exchanging specific deposits (utxo) and at first if you make only one, you dont have enough as the atomic swap protocol requires 2. Once you do your first swaps, the change automatically creates more outputs (utxo) so it is less and less a problem. Another issue is that currently we dont have that many marketmakers, so it is harder to find an ordermatch. It can even be configured to do 0conf swaps. It really is hard to describe all the advances that are rolled into a single seamless solution. just set the margin big enough to deal with market price fluctuations auto_chipskmd prices in KMD, auto_chipsbtc prices in BTC, automatically in the orderbooks as long as your node is running. i think it must be the absolute easiest way ever to setup a marketmaking. also being the bob (maker) side there is no dexfee especially for marketmaking, the LM (Liquidity Multiplier) feature is quite useful as you can have a lot more active orders at the same time. when marketmaking it is a waiting game, so setup the autoprice and be patient you can also make manual orders while market making Ah okay got it now. Made small transactions 3-4 times for it to work. Will deposit more now. I have two more questions in general if you have time to answer. If Barterdex takes off are you going to be able to handle all the traffic that exchanges handle today? Also regarding ICO's, can companies that want to launch an ICO get in trouble if they use Komodo considering it is decentralized and not "regulated". Talking about the future where new regulations might come? |

anybody can explain why the price going down ?
Bitcoin is in its rallying point at the moment reaching again an all time high at $12.5k . Almost all alt-coins are greatly affected by this so majority are hedging their assets to bitcoin . This is just typical an advantage to komodo once it stabilized. I am not sure if that is current. I am heavily invested in this coin and there hasn't been much development in a while https://github.com/SuperNETorg/komodo/commits/masterwhats up ? There has been plenty of development behind the scenes but we desperately need some ico news. Was to happen almost a month ago and we still don't know what is going on. At a first glance the delay seemed to be only temporary, I don't think anyone was expecting it to drag out this much and hence people are selling their bags. Project is solid in the long term but people seem to take refuge in other p&d coins to maximise their profits short term. |
