1  Economy / Services / English Wizardess for hire- Proofreading, Editing- articles, social media, more! on: June 19, 2018, 01:51:30 AM
Hello, bitcointalk community!

Do you need a little help proofreading and polishing your articles, website content, white papers, bounty and airdrop announcements, social media posts, etc? I'm your gal. I am a professional proofreader, editor, and transcriptionist, and I would love to speak to you about how I can be of service to you. I am a "newbie" as far as being an actual member and posting goes on bitcointalk, however, I am a longtime lurker and follower of this space. Wink I am familiar with cryptocurrency and blockchain jargon and terminology (of course!) and I'm willing and able to research projects to conform to each assignment's specific style and needs.

I am a native English speaker, and I sincerely enjoy proofreading, typing, reading, writing, transcribing, and editing. Really! The English grammar and punctuation perfectionist who lives in my soul needs constant feeding. I am one of those people who are always silently proofreading everything I read, no matter where I go. I can't help it... I both blame and thank my mother, who instilled in me a love of excellent language along with a love of helping others to communicate clearly.

Humor aside, I really do absolutely love working in this field, and I believe that it shows in the quality of my work.

I am seeking ways to incorporate my love of and obsession with cryptocurrency and blockchain tech into my existing freelance business, and I look forward to receiving any and all offers, small to large. My rates can be negotiable, either on a per-project/assignment basis or hourly, and I can take projects needing pure proofreading (grammar and spelling only, no editing for content) or for both proofreading and content editing. Payment is accepted via Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Tradesman Token, or Paypal (USD).

Please PM me and I will send you my email address in addition to links to my Upwork and Tradesman Token profiles. Feel free to send me a short assignment (250 words or less), to proofread and/or edit, if you would like a free sample of my work.

Thank you, and I sincerely look forward to hearing from you!

Hello!

I am interested in knowing if you are still seeking to add members to your team; and, even if you are not at this time, I am hoping that you will consider me. I am a professional proofreader and transcriptionist, and I would love to speak to you about how I can be of service to your project.

I attempted to PM you, however the forum states that you have chosen to not accept messages from "newbies" and that you would need to change that setting before I can message you. I am a "newbie" as far as posting goes on bitcointalk, however I am a longtime lurker and follower of this space.

I am familiar with cryptocurrency and blockchain jargon and terminology, of course, and I'm willing and able to research projects to conform to each assignment's specific style and needs.

As a small sample, here is how I would edit and proofread your message from March 25th, for easier readability in native professional English:

We are scaling up our team due to upcoming work for numerous ICOs, and we are looking for the following: Copywriters (from juniors to experts), Proofreaders (native speakers only), and Editors (native speakers preferable).

Languages: English (other languages will be considered, as well)

Contact: Just PM me here, or write to me in Telegram: @vsvoboden

See below for the record of proofreading/editing changes made:

Hello friends, I want to tell an obvious fact. If you want to save your coins, you should pay attention to the security of your electronic wallet, namely, beware when using third-party software.

Yes. Agreed.

And, look out for phishing and scam sites, and lately I am also seeing a lot of scam "airdrops" doing this, i.e. they are claiming that they need the private keys to your ETH wallet so that they can "verify" you to send you their free tokens. Argh!! Just today I found another scam "airdrop" for Zilliqa (the newest scam site targeting Zilliqa that I just found, zilliqa.online , claims they need your private key to your ERC-20 compatible wallet to send you "free" "airdrop" ZIL. Info about this may have been posted somewhere on here already, but just in case, I thought I would shout it out to everyone here to avoid it. I don't know much about the REAL Zilliqa project, as it is not one I've researched at all, but this zilliqa.online site is definitely a scam.)

I know this is obvious to many of us, but to newbies-- just remember to NEVER GIVE ANYONE YOUR PRIVATE KEY(S). If a project or website is asking for this info, they ARE going to scam you. I don't care how legit it might look. If someone gets your private key, they own everything in your wallet.

Peace, y'all.
