I am not sure how good of a news is this for the price of bitcoin. It is currently only allowing people to deposit onto the site but not withdraw from it, so its bad for the price of btc. This also applies and means the same for Pokerstars. Now since you can deposit but not withdraw means drop in price.
Since when can you deposit BTC on Pokerstars? Im a former US players, so im obviously out of the loop when it comes to news regarding Stars.... As far as Neteller accepting BTC, thats really really really good news. Hopefully a domino effect will happen with others following the lead. You cannot deposit BTC on PokerStars, however depositing BTC at Neteller, then depositing at Stars with those Neteller funds is a fairly simple task and only takes a couple of minutes once you got it all set up.

Payment just hit the our wallet. I can confirm that withdrawals are working. congrats....although about 30 people already confirmed this Yeah, but that was not the case when we submitted the cashout request just over 12 hours ago, and I promised to give an update and did just that. Anyway, I think we are all happy that this wasn't just another hit and run in the bitcoin world.

Hey Grendel, We just updated our Bitcoin poker section, you can check it out here: http://www.bitcoincasino.org/pokerAs others have mentioned, Seals With Clubs is the site with the most traffic. I've found that the games at Betcoin poker tend to be a bit softer, although there are not as many or frequent games running as at Seals.

I participated and completed the first bitcoin MOOC over at the university of Nicosia and was very pleased with the course.
Andreas Antonopolous and the other lecturers in the course are really experts in the field, and I believe anyone regardless of their level of bitcoin understanding can benefit from this course.
I would definitely recommend it!

Agreed, ponzi schemes are not gambling. Thus, they should be moved to a more appropriate section, or a new sub-section.

Ponzi schemes are per definition a scam and puts legitimate sites in this section in a bad light. Hopefully, the mods here can take action and at least move these sites into another section.
