1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Need a PayPal refund for your BFL purchase? on: October 21, 2013, 06:02:36 PM
Searing, when I checked last week, BFL no longer accepted Paypal for the 65nm devices.

Yes, it is funny. If you now take a look at the BFL payment options, you will only find the following sentence:

Quote
We accept Dwolla, Bitcoins and Bank Transfer.

May be they hat to much trouble with PayPal.

Despite their history, BFL has sold out on the first round of preorders for their 600 GH mining cards.
I do wonder who those people are and why, given BFL's history, they are willing to take that risk.

I think these are people who switched the old order in the queue to a 600 GH miner. This was an option from BFL for People in the order queue.

Now I got an answer from BFL. The answer message was send to the finance institute, the answer below was send to me:

Quote
Your miner is scheduled to be sent to the hosting facility when your order date comes up in the queue. However, there has been a dispute opened with PayPal, and it needs to be closed before your miner is sent to hosting. Please let us know when you have closed the dispute. Thank you.

Has anybody an Idea to contact BFL? Emails do not get answered. I tried the telephone number 1-800-809-MINE (6463) from the web side, but it seams just to be a kind of Voicebox.
5  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Need a PayPal refund for your BFL purchase? on: October 13, 2013, 05:26:40 PM
wow, that sounds like a pure and simple lie, since they obviously have not gotten to July orders yet.

You could ask BFL for the tracking number they used to send it to the hosting company... but they probably would lie and use some other tracking number or something.

I did ask BFL for a tracking number, but they did not answer until now.
6  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: How Much is a 50 GH/s BFL Bitcoin Miner Worth on: October 13, 2013, 05:15:20 PM
Whatever you can get somebody to pay for it really..
If btc is worth $500/usd in 2 yrs then you would easily be in profit.

You will have much more profit, just buying coins.

I am in trouble with getting a refund.

I tried the Normal way with PayPal, but that did not help. After that i tried to to get the money back from the credit card company. This not completed til now.

Butterfly Labs now says:
> “It has been sent to the hosting company.”

If I ask at the Hosting Company they say:

> “I currently do not have your gear, ..”

I assume, that Bfl is acting in pure intention to defraud.

My Order was in July, but the current deliver date is Februay – March. That is what you can see at https://forums.butterflylabs.com/blogs/bfl_jody/
8  Bitcoin / Hardware / How Much is a 50 GH/s BFL Bitcoin Miner Worth on: October 11, 2013, 04:33:32 PM

So what can you do?

Trash on delivery for the darkness of surroundings …

There is a thread, how to get a refund

May be that helps.
