1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FEDORAGOLD - Tip and purchase anywhere with the Fedora Gold FED coin on: May 07, 2019, 11:48:35 PM
I had TIPS for years and sadly that project was going nowhere.  Fedoragold has "more" potential.  Time will tell how much more potential but FED is better than staring at a wall with TIPS.  There's an actual project now, active DEVS, and increasing social media exposure.

TIPS swapped to FED and is discussed here now (for anyone who missed it since CMC's link still takes them here to the TIPS discussion): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5137508.msg50828201#msg50828201

So does that mean that the swap has occured and that the TIPS I have cannot be swapped?

According to their website "Altilly provides a manual swap feature for any holders wishing to exchange".
See here: https://www.fedoragold.com/

If BTC continues with overall monthly growth it will likely attract an new wave of crypto interest and investors like it always does (read in Captain Obvious voice).  When that new group look to diversify and discover alts they'll naturally look to acquire some established top 50-100 alts that seem like "safe bets".  I think fringe alts like FED will appeal to those same people for smaller sum investment since it's a lesser known project and for that reason alone has huge potential as more people park their lunch money there.  I'm talking about small $50-$200 HODL buys.  The same cash that you'd blow at a casino or night out and instead take a chance on something like this.

I know that's not the spirit or purpose of Fedora Gold but those inexpensive buys could help fuel its success.  This community will be what we make of it, and this forum will certainly be referenced before many decide to join the Fedora Gold project for what can do or to just speculate on its coin value growth.  No need to agree with each other or the Admin but lets keep the chatter constructive and build something.

Dearest Robot,

Has an update request been sent to www.coinmarketcap.com to recognize FED yet?  It still shows TIPS.  Excited to watch this grow and develop further.

TY,

Human

From 3 figure trading volume to 6 figures in 2 weeks is interesting.  Still ranks 1245 on coinmarketcap.  Sleeper coin.

From daily volume under 2k to roughly 60k in 1 month...  Might be a good time to park a little here in case something happens.  A cheap coin with a quickly increasing volume is going to start showing up on people's radar when they check what's trending on coinmarketcap.  The chart December chart looks volatile af at first glance was all super low volume.  It'll be interesting to watch this now that's it's settling and the community grows.

Over 600k in volume today and up 60% so far...Someone know something or just hoping the guy next to him knows something? Watching to see if it hits 1m+ again.  Then it might be worth looking at.  There are a few twitters too but I don't think there's an official one. @rimbitwhale seems to get tagged and consulted the most.

I posted this originally on the main Rimbit thread but it applies here too.

No devs and no mining aspect is what makes this an interesting coin to me.  With a key drive of cryptocurrency being decentralization I find it interesting that most of the time we (me included) gravitate to coins with more active "masters" and stake holders.  We get excited with news of mainstream companies buying into their technology and services despite those services having nothing to do with the value of the coin.  Take Ripple (and I have quite a bit).  Despite its blockchain technology having practical applications for financial institutions and their international operations, that application and it's success has nothing to do with the value of the ripple coin.  Ripple has only increased in parallel with our enthusiasm and faith that the Ripple enterprise will be successful.  Not to harp on Ripple but it makes my point better than most other coins in comparison because it is centralized.  Ripple controls it completely.  Rimbit however is out there in finite numbers without any mining consortium having any more advantage to acquire them than anyone else.  It doesn't matter if the original developer profited greatly from this project as most do.  It's not his anymore.  He, like us, will only ever be able to sell RBT for what someone is willing to pay and in turn can only buy it at a price RBT holders are willing to accept.  That simplicity is itself valuable since it's not convoluted with the promises of "big things to come" and momentous "dev announcements" etc.

Hey I bought my RBT with Yobit and want to withdraw it to a safer wallet.  Thinking the OS one from the website (open to suggestions such as Walletgenerator.net for a paper wallet).  What's everyone here use?  I read some discouraging things about withdrawals in general using Yobit.  Anyone withdrawal RBT from Yobit before and have issue.  I have a good amount and don't want to mess up of have the transaction go from processing to vanished as some claim has happened with other more obscure coins.

I'm curious to know if they're locked too.  I bought mine with Yobit before reading some scary reviews about that exchange.  Am hoping to move it to the desktop wallet downloadable from Rimbit's website but but don't want to mess with it if things are being updated or in flux.  Anyone here withdraw RBT from Yobit without issue? Undecided

Amazing and Thank you! Smiley Infigured it was just because of those spike in volume.  I’ll be making more Freewallet exchanges soon then.  Thanks again.

Yes, I did reach out in a personal message but didn't hear back.  I assumed he's probably looking into the progress and waiting to come back with a material update.  I'm just hoping for something like "Your coins are expected to be refunded by Dec 22nd etc." or if not that precise something like "in roughly 2 weeks time. Thank you for your patience and patronage." etc.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Freewallet help re: 266 STEEM on: December 12, 2017, 06:41:52 PM
Haven't heard from Freewallet since that December 1st mention of a refund (see above).  Thinking that might be the new normal considering the ramp up in volume they're needing to deal with.  Can't imagine anyone there gets to go home early.  Still...  Thoughts?  Huh  Anyone hear from them since Dec 1st for service items?  Misery loves company  Cry

 Thanks

No one could really help you but him or their support team. Freewallet is active here in the forum and was online just today, maybe he didn't see your thread yet. Try to send a message to his account: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1177176  -- scroll down and click "Send this member a personal message."

Thank you!  I've seen his replies to other inquiries and they're helpful and professional.  I'm surprised that's even possible in such a high volume industry. Thanks again

User d4a2c160

Please help.  On November 28th I used the iOS Freewallet Multi-wallet to exchange 2.8 LTC for 266 STEEM.  I had LTC but didn't have a STEEM account showing yet in teh app since it still needed to be funded to appear in the list.  I just had previously gone through the usual steps with no problem and exchanged LTC for DASH using the "exchange" feature in the app.  After the confirmations the DASH wallet appeared in my list with the expected amount of DASH.  My LTC to STEEM transaction didn't workout the same way unfortunately.  Instead the STEEM wallet never appeared.  After reaching out to support a few times one Freewallet rep replied that: the hash shows the transaction is complete but that I had forgot the Payment ID.  They said:

"Seems like your transaction was completed, but you have forgotten about your payment ID. That is why your transaction has stuck in our system.
We will try to contact our exchange partner and initiate a refund for you."

Using the iOS app there isn't any request for a "Payment ID".  The hash shows the STEEM exists but doesn't show up in the wallet.   What was I required to do with a payment ID?  There wasn't any field requesting one.  Just tap the coin logos, enter the amounts and confirm.

Just today to try and get the STEEM account to appear I moved my DASH from Freewallet to another wallet and then followed the Freewallet instructions to fund my STEEM with DASH from that outside DASH wallet.  It worked and the new test-amount of STEEM arrived however the 266 STEEM is still unaccounted for.

I've seen Freewallet contribute here before.  Your help would be greatly appreciated and possibly help others new to your tool.  Conceptually the app is user friendly and effectively worked fine for LTC, ETH, XRM and DASH.

Thanks in advance.
