3  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What if a large number of miners were suddenly forced to shut down? on: November 30, 2014, 04:30:47 PM
95% of miners are suddenly offline.
Be it a new law or an EMP strike. What would happen to bitcoin?  Huh

Pretty sure the bitcoin price would crash badly, the 5% of the miners now owns 20x more bitcoin, they would most likely sell immediately.

5  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Can you mine with an xbox or wii? on: November 18, 2014, 03:23:51 PM
Is there anyway to mine using consoles?

Yes you can, but you won't get anything out of it, it is designed to let you play games not mine.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will you do when BTC is 1M each on: November 02, 2014, 01:58:05 AM
What will you do when BTC is 1M USD today's, 2014 buying power each?

This will never happen.

It have a chance to happen. Just like when people were saying 1$ is expensive.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2013 bitcoin bubble was manipulated by a few... how do you feel ... on: November 02, 2014, 01:57:12 AM
how do you feel being manipulated and losing 50%+ of your invested money as of now?

Hold until the next bubble or halving. I am sure the value isn't that low..
8  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBMining.com? on: November 02, 2014, 01:49:56 AM
Hiya,
So I am looking to invest for the first time in bitcoin, in PBMining. I was considering buying a bitcoin miner, but I saw that with this there are no power costs and it is pretty much the same price as buying a physical miner. Any thoughts?

Actually, price from pbmining is more expensive then if you buy hardware. But yeah its power cost free so you might ROI better from PBmining then buying hardware...
9  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: btcguild being bought out. on: November 02, 2014, 01:46:38 AM

10  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I have 50 000$ to invest and i dont need to pay electricity for bitcoin mining on: November 02, 2014, 01:42:48 AM
What do you think should i Invest and how much money will i make per day If i dont pay electricity !! I dont need to pay electricity in my country at all what kind of hardware should i buy and how much will I earn for day

Well, you can buy from Bitmaintech. Their price is pretty good for the hash they produce. Btw, which country don't need to pay electricity bills?
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Unless a boom happens in November, there will be a massive correction on: November 02, 2014, 01:40:57 AM
Many people have been holding since January thinking the next upcoming November would be a boom.  Here we are - it's November and no boom yet.

Many people might start panic selling within the next 60 days and this could drive the price down to $100 or lower.

I am not expecting a boom until 2016 due to the bitcoin halving. ASIC company are dumping bitcoin driving the price down too quickly..
12  Other / Off-topic / Re: Recommend me a Gaming PC + Decent Laptop on: November 02, 2014, 01:37:33 AM
I want a top end gaming pc I don't mind you giving me a list of components and I building it as I've been building my computers for many years but I thought instead of being bias and using only my favorite brands I would ask you guys for advice.

I want a decent laptop for day to day stuff involving programming & browsing of the internet.

I'm currently heavily working on a project involving the Pi which has taken up some of my budget in research & also time to research of the latest deals etc. That's why I'm asking you guys because maybe you've recently found a good deal?

Just make sure you have at least i5 for your CPU, 8G of ram and GTX 770 for your GPU and the rest is not important.
13  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: KnC Cloud Mining - it's a bust... on: October 30, 2014, 03:41:32 AM
The question is whether the mining economy can survive with bitcoin close to $300. People who are mining now made/bought their miners when the price was higher by at least $100.

Well, if its unprofitable to mine then the difficulty would drop. So its balanced..
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Next Hashlet Prime Algo is Scrypt N? on: October 30, 2014, 03:39:43 AM
Okay so the GAW Ceo had made a statement saying they had recently purchase 5Petahash worth of Hardware from Bitmain, now we all know how business works and the basics of it, so when you see that Bitmain has been developing a scrypt system (and we all know how much Gaw mines with scrypt) the L1 you can easily come to the conclusion that there will be some purchased by GAW especially since these miners are now "Sold Out" and many don't pre-order in the mining game. So this leads the to speculation that GAW will be making the next ALGO that primes can mine as Scrypt N giving a slight boost to profits, but keep in mind that Vertcoin is leaving N algo and others may follow suit.

I think scrypt N useless and vtc will change to new algo in Dec or soon.

Agree, and did they come out with asic for scrypt-n?
15  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Getting Started to not make a profit on: October 30, 2014, 03:38:47 AM
I stumbled across bit coin mining. I do have a fast computer with an i7. I want to mine for bit coins on the side, Not to sell out at the current rate but to keep them. Maybe one day they will be worth over $10,000. Are there any external GPU that are worth the effort of mining bitcoins?

Just buy a asic or buy BTC directly. You would get much more...

Why not make bitcoin multi-algo like myriad coin, then everyone will have a chance for the share..

19  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you earn money online? on: October 30, 2014, 03:29:01 AM
I mine at a profit; as well as lease mining code.

I think you are the only few who can mine at profit, unless you share us your kernal Smiley
20  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BITMAIN‘s Liquid Cooled Miner C1: It is not only cool, but it is cool on: October 30, 2014, 03:26:22 AM
