1  Economy / Services / Re: CoinRoyale Sig Campaign *Earn 0.04 BTC/week promoting the best Bitcoin Casino! on: August 08, 2015, 09:36:39 PM
Hi, I am dropping out of this campaign.  I dont have enough time at the moment to do a good job posting, so I think it is better to drop out than make a lot of crap posts.

Thanks for letting me in, this has been a great campaign!
2  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: OddsWorthBetting Investment Game (6-2) RECORD on: August 06, 2015, 09:35:50 PM
This looks like an interesting service, but I would want to see a website with records and other information.  Also the return seems a little low for such risk.  I like the idea, I will keep an eye on this service to see how it develops.
3  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: BTC-Mine.info is built by investors, for investors on: August 06, 2015, 09:32:56 PM
Sounds like a ponzi scheme scam if I have ever heard of one.  Remember guys, if its too good to be true (ie 10% profits in 24 hours) then it is.

Send anything to this user and you will be scammed.  You have been warned.

Dear DebitMe! We did not scam the project !!! We want to prove that there are real investment project that pay their users. I agree there are a lot of similar projects that do not pay! But we want to prove that we are the best and you can trust us!

I am open to the possibility of such returns, but I would want to see detailed information about exactly what transactions were used to generate the returns.  10% a day is possible I guess, to a really skilled trader.  But it does sound a little far fetched.

Can you post ater the fact, ever 24 hours, what trades or other investing activity was made to generate the returns?  If it is legit you should be able to do this.
4  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Tokyo Court: Bitcoin Not "Subject to Ownership" on: August 06, 2015, 09:20:10 PM
Tokyo's District Court has ruled that bitcoin is "not subject to ownership", with a judge informing a plaintiff he could not claim for bitcoins lost in the Mt Gox collapse.
Judge Masumi Kurachi stated that, due to their intangible nature and reliance on third parties, bitcoins cannot be covered under existing law.

Mark ... this kind of crap that kills Bitcoin . just like Silk road or any other Darknet market

Check more and read fully here : http://www.coindesk.com/tokyo-court-bitcoin-not-subject-to-ownership-2/

If you look into it thats not really what it says. What it really means is that because bitcoin is fungable you can't lay claim to any particular btc. Likely ruled to help the Japanese bankruptcy official able to liquidate holdings to JPY and pay out that way.

Ah, I see.  I did not read it that way.  I read it as "yay now every software program is free because it is intangible and not subject to ownership."  Of course such an interpretation is absurd, which is why I was slightly concerned.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DRKT]2nd round of DPOS, new wallet, 2nd DEV on: August 06, 2015, 03:05:48 PM
Hi all,

Sorry for the long time before update.
Yes it was a attack on the network of DRKT i got a email that they would stop if i pay 2 btc.
I say fuck you and made some changes like;
We have uploaded a new source with checkpoint new Seednode and update node's in OP

Also C-cex didnt update to new source untill 36 hours ago. And bittrex is on the fork still.

Im hoping to update later today with a new static wallet. And with some extra good news.

Thank you all for your faith and time

PS: i think its more a attack on DarkTronTeam (repp) then on DRKT as a coin

Excellent, I would rather lose everything than pay them anything.  Keep up the good work!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DRKT]2nd round of DPOS, new wallet, 2nd DEV on: August 06, 2015, 01:56:17 AM
So lemme get this straight: it was a deliberate attack on the network?  People are so damn stupid.  Look, let me spell it out for you: if you attack the network, the coin loses value or becomes worthless.  It is like robbing a bank with an empty vault.  Now, I prefer that whoever this is stops scamming people, but at least don't be stupid about it!

but dev said that will make a checkpoint, as I understand around block 105 000 so any new coin after that block will stop exist no ?
You already can not dump, Bittrex disconnected wallet 3 days ago, as I understand no need to worry !?

Yeah, I am not worried, I am just surprised at how stupid some people can be.  Why on earth would you attack the network?  The only reason, maybe, is a competing coin that wants to destroy a competitor.  But DRKT is pretty small potatoes so I don't really think that is the case.

Anyway looks like we got a solid dev here.  This seems like a problem that could be hard to fix, so I think we need to all be patient, and also appreciative that the dev didn't just walk away.

8  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] YOUR OWN MINECRAFT ACCOUNT - $4 on: August 05, 2015, 11:16:10 PM
Got a $2 vouch acct, and it works.  I signed in and changed the pass, and played a little bit.  I didn't get the chance to go on a server yet, but assume that everything works and I will post back here if there is any problem.

Thanks!

I never heard of them, but I am sorry if you lost money with them.  It is a good idea to be really careful who you give your hard earned money to.
10  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Lu on: August 05, 2015, 10:15:31 PM
not scam Angry

OK if it is not a scam can you explain 1. how the money is generated and 2. what you mean by "just luck".  Is this a game?  It is not clear from your post, but it does look like a scam.  I am not saying it IS a scam, just that it looks like one.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins.com trading legality on: August 05, 2015, 10:08:47 PM
Yep, what he said is how the sting operations work: undercover cops will buy btc, and casually mention that they plan to buy drugs, a whore, aor anything else illegal.  You might naturally shrug it off and say that it is none of your damn business what they spend the money/btc on.  But as soon as they tall you, BAM you are now a party to criminal behavior.  To avoid this, if anyone even HINTS at illegal activity during a trade, jsut walk away from the trade.  You can politely say "sorry, but I can't trade with you now that you have told me that," or something similar.  But watch your ass, they are trying real hard to put btc on ice.

Vouch! The Minecraft account had a different username but I was able to change it to my own. He made the Mojang account linked to my email address, just as described. Thank you!

Pleasure to do business.

Vouch copy available for $2!

Sure, for $2 why not.  PM me you address and which exchange you want to use for btc/usd price.

No thanks, this is too exclusive for me.  I will stick to something tailored more towards the unwashed masses Tongue
14  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Is Financiarity.com still payinG ? on: August 04, 2015, 07:58:32 PM
My guess is no.  I would not take a chance with this game.
15  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I made a blog! cryptocall.wordpress.com on: August 04, 2015, 05:29:48 PM
Really nice articles so far, keep them coming Smiley

I wonder, can you do an article on the supposed conflict of interest involving the split of the development team?

I would be really interested to know what you think about this Smiley
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Fake] Satoshi Nakamoto moving his coins at this moment !!! on: August 04, 2015, 05:16:17 PM
Awww, I got excited there for a moment.  I guess it is good if satoshi's coins stay out of circulation.
17  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Top Cloud Miners Compared by Profitability on: August 03, 2015, 07:51:55 PM
I find any person willing to pay a cloud mining company nowadays very brave, I simply lost trust in all cloudmining, because the treshold is very low to just pick up the shit and disappear, don't trust it anymore Smiley

I think hashnest is good though, they are owned by bitmain who makes the hardware, so there is some nice synergy there.

Our goal is to become the most trusted ponzi game!

Most trusted Ponzi Game is already there. It is running for more than three months now and showing payment proof. There is no complaint against this game. Let us play all at ChainProfit.com.

This is the way to go.  Instead of making a straight up ponzi, why not make a ponzi game?  I think that chain profit leaves a lot of room for improvement, so why not start there?  And if you have coding knowledge, then I don't think that it would be that expensive to start such a game, you would just need to spend the time to make it good.
19  Economy / Gambling / Re: Quick and dirty python martingale calculator on: August 03, 2015, 03:51:20 PM
Just curious, what success have you had (the op) with martingale?  I assume from your post that you are not playing a straight up 50/50, but some other odds like 80/20?  Or something like that?  You play it on dice right?
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6 Things You Missed from the State of Bitcoin on: August 03, 2015, 03:45:25 PM
Why is everyone so worried about China and the 51% attack? Let's say this happens... what will happen?

1. Everyone will sell their Bitcoins {Why would you want a currency that can be double spent?}
2. No merchant in his right mind would accept Bitcoin as a payment method.
3. Centralized control would be the end of Bitcoin
4. People would stop mining
5. People will not host nodes anymore

The whole network will collapse and the Chinese will be left with a whole warehouse full of worthless hardware.  Roll Eyes

Yeah exactly.  This is why I don't think too many people are making a serious effort to hack the blockchain or bitcoins's technology.  Because if they did do something like that or a 51% attack, then btc would become worthless.  Would a bank robber risk life and limb to break into a vault he knew was empty?  No, I think the bad guys are after individuals via scams, phishing, and things like that.

And why should we be concerned that China has a lot of hashing power?  We would have more hashing power in the usa if we were not getting raped so hard by the electricity companies.  That is a chilling effect right there, and a way to concentrate wealth away from the average person.  So thanks electricity companies, because of your greed China is becoming the leader in this area.
