1  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 22, 2013, 06:48:24 PM
Hi guys, too much to read once again but I see shares have gone up?

Are we winning?

We are most definitely winning.

It's amazing how quick these traders are and yet they are so slow when it comes to digesting news.

They just moved up to the 22 spot...still a sceptic though until I see some big numbers go up.
If they can hit the 2th mark they are supposed to be hashing and we are still seeing growth then I'll think about reinvesting.

Just the fact that they manufactured working chips means that it is only a matter of time until they have nearly unlimited hash.

lmao when and how was that "fact" ever established?

Uh, over the last 6xx pages of this thread.

Some people believe human beings visiting the moon isn't a fact even though there's pictures and everything. To the extent that life is subjective nothing can be definitively proven but you have to step into faith to make it work.

WTF are you talking about they are listed on BTC guild, good fail comparison.

Yea so am I & I can also claim I'm hashing with custom hardware but that dosen't make it true. Really now, how gullible are you?

The reality is right now this is nothing more than another over priced revenue share when it should be a asic manufacture stock.

Yes you can claim with zero proof. Labcoin had their hash listed on btcguild. What are you even saying.

lol

Edit: If you wait until they are at 2th and growing and then think about reinvesting you will be paying a hefty premium.

And let the love pour all over our friends at labcoin all of a sudden, lol! But seriously, though, thanks for living up to your promises!

All the profit here involves leaving someone else with the bag. Any money made here is bad karma, really - if you want to look at it like that.

This community used to be about mining and fun but now it's just desperate people trying to get out of slaving away in poverty like the rest of the world.

it's a blessing to believe in law and law enforcement. If everyone does that, we will see much less crime.

That said, there's a much more likely answer to current situation than scam. The chips do not work well, at least not stable enough. If it is just board issue or software issue, it will be fixed already, considering 2 weeks have past. Moreover, board/software issue is a small issue, so they can admit it easily. Only the chip failure makes them reluctant to let us know. They just tried everything they could to buy sometime for them to fix, if it is fixable. just wish they have not spent a lot in ordering large number of unstable chips already. Chips may work initially and passed their tests before they realized they do not work stably.
+1

Hence why they are "concentrating on 65nm"

As we already stated, chip documentation isn't ready yet for public distribution.
We will start distribution to third parties when hashing power deployed will meet the goals we have set. This is our top priority right now.
We want to mention that we have received interview requests from several well know parties, CNN and Bloomberg being the most prominent  and late progress with our 65nm design lead us to believe we will deploy 200-300 TH within 2013.

What percentage of the network would 200-300TH be within the estimated 5-6 PH network difficulty? Where are the mathematicians who can tell us what the projected dividends will be?

Try 200th would be 3.3% of a 6ph network, Blocks are meant to be mined 1 every 10 mins, @25BTC per block (3600BTC per day, or 1.3m year)
Then 3.3%/year is ~43,000BTC. Divide this by 10,000,000 shares 0.0043/share from mining p/a
Then include sales + transaction fees (ATM TF's are only ~1%)

With current norms (ie ASICminer returns) the stock would triple .0043, which is .0129.

They've simulated one thing and then chose to manufacture another. Undecided

The price action (chart) is strong for LC. We are at highs and have sustained them for days. There is no technical weakness.

I just read Labcoin's miners will be USB. A plug and play miner will sell big time.

I don't think USB miners exclusively, but yeah, they plan to sell USB miners too.

Sorry, I meant USB connectable.
Oh... where did you get that?

"I/O interface : USB / Serial"

About the 200 bitcoin - I wonder when the press picks up on it.

The value Mr. Cat created for the public perception of bitcoin is bigger than 200 coins.

Was thinking the same thing.

There is a huge wall around 0.004 price at least 1300 BTC

The all time high being around .0045 should be breached by news of production.

I will post more chip images, pictures of running miners, specs, documentation etc. as soon as it becomes available. I would also like to point out that the 'TheSwede' on bitbet.us is NOT me. I have made if clear before and I stick by the fact that I do NOT trade, bet or in any other way personally profit off any access to news or events regarding Labcoin. Doing so would in my opinion be unfair and dishonest. I also will not ever comment on development or share price etc. through personal messages or emails in any form.

No, you are not betting on it because you know it's a scam.

Your entire "asset" consists of Burnside pasting fake trades to create an illusion of interest, and that's all.

Dude, troll harder plz...

.01248 is a huge dividend beat all things considered.

Seems like we're ready for a bounce at current prices with the hashrate back on target and the price near long term resistance.

AM operates at 30 TH/s for 11 months.  AM then operates at 1,000 TH/s for 1 month.  AM's lifetime average is then 1330/12 = 110.8.  Now for investing purposes, should you treat AM as a 110.8 TH/s or a 1,000 TH/s operation?  I hope you can see that you should view AM as a 1,000 TH/s operation.  Hope this example helps clear up your misunderstandings.   Smiley

Well it depends.  In your example it operated for 1,000 TH/s for a month and that would be reflect in the slope of the lifetime average.

Day 330 - LTA 30.0 TH/s
Day 331 - LTA 32.9 TH/s
Day 332 - LTA 35.8 TH/s
...
Day 339 - LTA 55.7 TH/s
...
Day 360 - LTA 110.8 TH/s

On the other hand if it operated at 1,000 TH/s for a few hours and then fall back towards 300 TH/s over the course of weeks and then despite recovering from the low it showed difficulty breaking even 500 TH/s.  If that was combined with a lack of information from the operator then no I wouldn't consider it a risk free assumption that 1,000 TH/s can be maintained.  Before I get accused of FUD I don't think this is likely however it certainly is possible in the sharp decline and lackluster recovery some equipment was damaged and without more hardware the network will NEVER reach its prior peak.

Didn't you see friedcat's post about exponential new equipment being manufactured in September and October?
