1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Buy Bitcoin in U.S and Sell in Another Country. TAX? on: December 26, 2017, 03:53:29 PM
So here is the scenario.

I buy the bitcoin in U.S using website like Coinbase. (my bank account is linked)

I send it to other exchanges in another country where they don't Tax crypto. I sell it there, put money in local bank and I send money back to U.S bank.

I made Gains on a server that's registered in that country. Is it Taxable?

I say maybe $50k, they won't care. But if it becomes larger amount and more frequent transaction, the bank might get suspicious?

Isn't it like you send Iphones to overseas, sell it there for profit and send money back? do you have to pay Tax for this?

Binance is really frustrating compared to other trading sites that use just regular currency.

10% value of my portfolio (about 15 coins) dropped in matter of 10 minutes.

I check the coin prices. Some dropped, some went up. It should stay about the same but.

If I want to check the difference for purchase/current, I would have to go to the history, find old BTC value and multiply by current BTC price. Also find current BTC value and multiply by current BTC.
I mean that's a lot of work.

I don't know why they don't have the option to show how much % it changed.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Price Fluctuation for Coin to Coin trade. on: December 19, 2017, 12:54:37 PM
So I trade at Binance. I either buy BTC or ETH from coinbase and deposit there. Then I use those to buy AltCoins.

I am Confused about Limit Order.

Say I want to buy this 1000 coin at 0.0001 BTC = 0.1 BTC.

Once I put Limit order it will show - price 0.001 BTC  / amount 1000 / Total 0.1 BTC

If the price of BTC or other coin changes before Limit Order is filled, Shouldn't it affect this figure too??? (0.001 BTC  / amount 1000 / Total 0.1 BTC)

sorry, I've been trying to figure out on my own but just wanted to ask expert to explain clearly.

4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how risky is day trading? on: December 14, 2017, 10:04:45 AM
How about you Play this way?

Whether you want to day trade or Hodl, Buy at the price you would want to Hodl?

If you are day trading, you still want to buy at Overprice if you think you can ride the wave and it can drop soon after you buy.

If you buy for little long term  (dipped down enough, not at peak price etc), then you can just wait if there is a temporary dip or choose to sell if it goes up little?

So when you buy, ask this question.

Would I buy at this price if Id have to keep it for few weeks? (that's pretty long term in coin market right now)
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / How do you run Statistics? on: December 14, 2017, 08:31:24 AM
Obviously, you will have to know $ you bought at, Current $ and $ you sold.

It's not too hard to figure out if you buy/sell with Fiat.

But if you buy BCT/ETH and use that to buy another coins, it gets REALLY COMPLICATED.

For example, I use Binance.

It shows # of coins I have and its BTC value only.

It shows total Dollar amount I have for all coins but doesn't show each coins'.

When I want to sell/buy, I also have to put 0.00xx BTC value instead of Dollar amount. (BTC value and price of coin I want to buy both Fluctuates, hard to put the right price)

If I trade coin to another coin few times, there is no way I can run stats.

I can only look at the total $ amount and say 'I put in $1000 total, hm I made $200 bucks lol'

How do you keep the track of performances for each coins???
