a friend told me how the .1 BTC was accessed and I know of 3 encrypted files (pure salted string, pkzip with salted string inside and the rar with password protection) hidden in the image, the qr, and the special image inside with additional chars (this was rather clever, i have to admit). now everything is password protected and i'm stuck

Did you plan this puzzle to be solved sooner rather than later? Do you hope for weeks, months or years?

Is your friend "Lustre"?, the guy who found the 0.1?.

Interesting challenge. I found some clues already incl a link to register. No private key though.
What do you mean by "... the data you got so far"? I am not sure what should be included in this SHA256 hash.
Edit: "the data" could mean everything incl. your postings, the website and so on. If we are only talking about the image it could be everything incl. metadata, size, visible and hidden numbers, fields, pixels etc. in endless possibilities of combinations of these all. Makes no sense this way.

Yeah, this make no sense, if we don't know even what kind of access we're looking for, a long PK or just a mnemonic, also this person gotta try to prove that the prize is legit in a different way, otherwise i don't think the people take this serious because is a considerable amount of money.

If I see no progress I will release a hint or clue but not at the moment.

You can verify the signature in a wallet like, for example, Electrum.

mate but are we looking for a long private key? or a mnemonic phrase with several words? Cry
6  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Is there a wallet (Android) that notify you when you have an incoming trx?? on: July 14, 2018, 06:58:12 PM
I've checked your suggestion, but is there any way to import my seed?, i can't see any way to do it, it just asks for a file to restore. Undecided
It's not possible.

Not an app, but you can use Blockonomics[1] to receive email notifications every time you send/receive Bitcoins from your watched wallet. That's what I use.

Thank you for this mate, i'm gonna check it.
7  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Is there a wallet (Android) that notify you when you have an incoming trx?? on: July 14, 2018, 12:27:11 AM
The original bitcoin wallet gives you a notification.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.schildbach.wallet

Whenever you get an incoming transaction that gets confirmed, it sends you a notification.
It's worth noting you have to not have a "storage space insufficient" error for the app to function as it has to download block headers, and it connects to bitcoin mining servers directly.

Hello everyone! i was looking for this question in old posts, but there's nothing relevant out there, the best option i saw, was Copay, but Copay doesn't support my phone's android version anymore, is there some other current (and safe) option that you can recommend me?

Mycelium doesn't do that, Coinomi either... Undecided
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinX (BCX) - Future Society Proof Cryptocurrency on: July 10, 2018, 11:02:57 PM
Imagine that when the BTC rises to $30,000-50,000, the BCX will rise to $1-5, and now invest in BCX = sleep to make money!

$5? naaah too much supply.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: |BnB| |Boats n' Bitches| |ICO & POS| |NEW ROADMAP!!| on: February 21, 2018, 09:05:04 PM

Tired of shitcoins and scamcoins? So we are! That’s why we are releasing Boats and Bitches, not a scamcoin, because we are being brutally honest with you by telling you that we will use the funds we collect to party hard. We are going to do that what we love most, get a boat, fill it up with bitches and enjoy the time; all of this with all of your money, of course.

So just give us your BTCs, we will use not less than 50% in bitches, and if we get enough, we will rent a boat too. We promise to share all the pictures with investors!

Once the hangover is over, if we have any BTC left (who are we kidding? $240 a BTC doesn’t buy us much, bitches are expensive), we might or might not take care of the development.
