1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can you invest in ICO in bear market? on: August 11, 2018, 09:58:24 AM
I think yes. Right now I have invested to menlo and OPP. I don't see any problem investing into projects specially when its bear market, just make sure that the project is competent enough to withstand the bear market right now.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: August 11, 2018, 09:51:35 AM
Seeing how the price have gone down for the past few I say I'd go for BTC, but I still don't want to factor out investing into ICO's specially those projects that I see potentials. Example menlo and OPP, they both have the best concept of a project and its what we needed right now.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the impact of ICOs on the market? on: July 23, 2018, 09:47:00 AM

Every day we see dozens of new ICOs enter the market
Do you think this is useful for the market and to what degree?  Roll Eyes

In some way they are good and bad. The bad thing is that these ICO's are sometimes fake and just want to take advantages of the investors especially the new ones good thing there's site like menlo.one the would help eradicate the fake projects out there. On the other hand, this ICO boom is giving us opportunity to mainstream the cryptocurrency or the blockchain technology to the people.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many new Token, new project on: July 23, 2018, 09:36:47 AM
I think that there are least 1 token or project or exchange were born everyday!
When I read ANN. Oh. I didn't research all. Maybe we have miss some good project.....Because there are too Project...
I hate this thing on Crypto Grin

That's underrated mate, if you look into some review sites like icorating, icobench, menlo.one you'll see that it is expected that everyday there's 5-10 projects being borned. I don't think its a bad thing, because it increases the popularity of crypto which would bring a positive impact, giving us more investors and more money flowing.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO 2018 on: June 18, 2018, 10:10:35 AM
Ok, There are a lot of ICO and now there are popular scam projects. I am afraid of investing in ICO. It is much better to buy them on exchange. Now most tokens are trading below the ICO price

Yeah. It is very risky to invest in ICO right now. Fake projects are very rampant and even the most legit looking project turned out to be a scam. I think we need something that can solve this problem right now. Review sites are being corrupted, few days back I have read a thread exposing the truth about fake ICO reviews. I hope menlo will start immediately because they plan to filter out the scam project in ICO space.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid getting scammed. on: June 18, 2018, 10:01:37 AM
I think experience is the biggest part to avoid a scam in the crypto industry. yes, I've dealt with some ico projects that became scam and it was painful. so, there are ways to go especially if you want to invest in some ico project. and this is not easy, essentially you should seek knowledge first.

I agree. Lose some to gain some. LOL

The thing with ICO nowadays is that it cannot be trusted anymore. Most of them are just a bunch of either a copy-paste of existing concept or just a pure scam. I think what we need is something that can sort good projects from the bad ones. Anyways, have anyone come accross with this website? www.menlo.one
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: ico on: June 16, 2018, 03:51:17 AM
Of course, to help you with that there are some website to help you decide what ICO to invest with like icobench, icorating, or menlo.one. Use them as your reference and remember to always do a good research before investing a penny on anything.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BEST ICO for 2018 on: June 16, 2018, 03:32:46 AM
I've come across with this ICO. Menlo.one and they have a nice concept of a project. They plan to build a community of expert to give new investors decide on what tokens to buy during an ICO and what not. The thing with them is that there will be incentives for experts who will join on their platform.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any good upcoming ICO for 2018 ? on: June 14, 2018, 04:20:02 AM
Have anyone looked into www.menlo.one ? They have a good concept this is what we need right now, since almost everyday there's a new ICO being built.

I have read about their site and they seem to be promising and has a nice concept. One thing that we need right now is something that can solve the tokens scalability problem.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Guild based system by an ICO???? on: June 14, 2018, 02:59:56 AM
I have chatted through their telegram group and they seem to be legit. They have an 11,000 members on their telegram and I'm confident this would be a great project in the near future.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Ⓜ️ MENLO ONE Ⓜ️ COMPETITION & STOX PARTNERSHIP! [ICO] on: June 14, 2018, 02:37:27 AM
It seems that Menlo can change the lives of many investors and entrepreneurs. One of the reason is that, they can provide people investing in ICOs with a new undiscovered level of perception into the aspect of the project by influencing feedback from the crowd.
12  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [PAYBEAR] Crypto Payments Service on: April 03, 2018, 06:38:04 AM
So when this launch will be? Their website don't have any tentative date for their token launch. I hope it'll be soon enough as people here don't get any answers from their questions about paybear's service.

As I have said, they don't focus much about the ICO and their token right now. Paybear's priority is getting more merchants on using their product.
Yeah they don't have any tentative date for the ICO launch, but basing on their roadmap it'll be in the last quarter of 2018.
13  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [PAYBEAR] Crypto Payments Service on: March 31, 2018, 06:46:06 AM
Its been a long time since I visited this thread and I'm not seeing much of a support from paybear's team. Don't know but they seem inactive on Bitcointalk.

I haven't really noticed them actively answering questions here on Bitcointalk.. would have been awesome  Roll Eyes I can see that they are pretty active in telegram though.

Yeah, All queries should be directed to their telegram group because they don't focus on ICO right now. What can I see from their telegram group is merchants asking for help integrating their API. Maybe when they launch their token, some of the admins will be active here.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: best time to buy bitcoin on: March 17, 2018, 10:43:13 AM
In my own opinion, it is the right time to buy bitcoin these days because the price is cheap. Bitcoin is a less risky investment compared to other uncertain coins because bitcoin already have a strong market reputation. Take advantage of the current dip. Add more coins to your portfolio.

Nah. Its not the right time to buy right now. Just wait it out and buy BTC when the price reaches 15k again. And when a sudden dip happen, create a new thread here about how BTC ruined your life.  Wink

Seriously speaking, no matter what the price of BTC is its always the right time to buy. What people should be thinking is what is the right time to sell? Haven't you think of it. Some people here buys at High and suddenly sells at Low when price suddenly dips later whining how BTC ruined their life.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Reduce to $ 4000? on: March 17, 2018, 06:33:59 AM
I think the bitcoin price is still strong at 8000$ and the next support is at 7000$ and the last one is at 6000$ if the price reaches 4000$ I think the investors will start to not trust anymore with bitcoin because it's been very falling in price. hopefully the price quickly go back up hold and do not panic I think everything will be fine

Yes,  bitcoin is still strong.  I dont think that bitcoin will go down that level at $4,000, that is too low,  bitcoin price now is currently $8,000 and may rise anytime.

I do hope to reach that level.  Grin LOL

Wouldn't be a golden opportunity to us? To reach that far? Every time BTC makes a bearish move everyone seems to post a thread like this one. What can I say is, If someone is afraid then sell those coins and invest your money in stock exchange. There you'll see not much of this kind bear and bull move.
16  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [PAYBEAR] Crypto Payments Service on: March 17, 2018, 05:50:00 AM
Thanks. I have asked because I'm planning to integrate paybear's api to to my website. And I'm wondering, are there any 'dummy' information I can use at checkout to simulate a normal one for testing purposes?

I'm curious if there are any Paybear staff that are active in these forums as well.. I think it would be nice to get some answers directly from them.  Smiley

Its been a long time since I have checked this thread and no staff has arrived to answer any concerns of their services. You might just go directly to paybear's telegram or twitter account to clarify any queries you have in mind. BTW, what's your question I might be able to help you?
17  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis Mining on: March 03, 2018, 06:39:34 AM
It works, sure. But you'd have to deposit good amounts of bitcoin for your mining plans to actually make a bit of money.
Investing more money in cloud mining doesn't mean that you'll be making more money percentage wise. In other words, whether you invest $100 or $1000, it won't make any difference.

They are mining (I don't believe they really are, but just for example purposes) anyway, which doesn't change even if people don't actually invest one single penny to buy their cloud mining contracts.

This basically means that every person, regardless of his investment amount, ends up making the same profits in percentages. It's actually a great thing, but the rotten nature of this industry makes everything look bad instantly.

For me the best option would be is to buy a mining rig and mine coins myself than to put my money on something I don't have control with. I think there has been some history of scams about these types of investment. Don't know about Genesis though if they would last.
18  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [PAYBEAR] Crypto Payments Service on: March 01, 2018, 01:14:20 PM
I guess the only difference between Paybear and other gateways is that Paybear is still new. Still eyeing Paybear because of its much cheaper fees though. Will see how things go.

Yeah I also think it that way. Been on their telegram group of paybear and in fairness to the team. They are very responsive and will be glad to answer any of my queries.
19  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [PAYBEAR] Crypto Payments Service on: March 01, 2018, 12:58:06 PM
Not a fan of "BitPay" and since "PayBear" it's a new service on this field, I recommend the following instead (for the time being):

1. Shifty Button (My personal favorite).
2. CoinPayments
3. CoinGate
4. Blockonomics

I have checked all you have suggested. Here's my thoughts.

1. Shifty Button - I think this one is the most user friendly IMHO, I will dig deeper on it because I can't find their actual cost per transactions.
2. Coinpayments - Nah, I'll pass on this. CS sucks as we know it.
3. CoinGate - Not noob friendly, I don't know much about API's and stuff.
4. Blockonomics - Never heard of this.

I know Paybear is new in this market, but their team is very supportive. And their website, is a bit more enticing. LOL  Grin
Bitpay on the other hand, claims to charge only 1% but it isn't true. IMO, they're charging more than that.
20  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [PAYBEAR] Crypto Payments Service on: February 26, 2018, 10:29:53 AM

I had been lurking on their telegram group and I think they seem to have a good future. The team even shared this. https://www.reddit.com/r/paybear/comments/7zheys/paybear_makerdao_partnership_announcement/

Is this a good sign for the project?

Yeah maybe, its yet too early but they seem to have a good team behind. They're just starting things. As slow death said, give them some time before you jump in. Or do test transaction on their website. They claim to have the lowest fee than the other competitors. https://www.paybear.io/pricing

Paybear or Bitpay? Paybear is definitely way more cheaper in terms of transaction fees, but seems a bit more complicated to set up (I have no experience in coding). Any thoughts?
