I started using this miner and only first card get zombie tune, the rest cards mine with 15-16Mh. All cards are same, using latest hive os.

Which is your flightsheet config?... the version 1.19 use autotune... and takes 2 min per GPU
only --4g-alloc-size parameter is used

I'm struggling to get my RX570 flight sheet mining in HiveOs.  I am on the latest version of Hive/LOLminer.  I am using --4g-alloc-size 4072 in my tuning params.  Any suggestions?

One more trouble: I can not access miner configuration using password 12345678. I'm getting reply that password is wrong. Is it possible to reset this password?

UPD: Solved:
telnet to the miner and opened file:
cd /home/www/conf
vi password

password is written there

I tried this and no value returns.  Worked on one miner but not on another.  Any thoughts?

Tried many drivers with overdriventool,win 10 ltsb,no memory errors,compute enabled etc so its not oc,ping is normal around 30-40ms.Images are pool side,miner side looks stable and ok,variations in miner are 1-2mhs up and down sometimes,tried clkernel 2 but drops are worse miner side.Anyone have any clue?thx

Have you ever mined before?  Are you saying on a different miner you have different looking graphs?  If so you should post both.

How long to wait for the version for dual mining?
   Depending on what secondary algorithm we do because we once (almost) implemented DCR and it went to non-profitable. It wasn't entirely lost effort but close to it. After finishing the Linux version we will reevaluate the most profitable choices for a secondary coin and then it would take additional month or so. So at least two months in the future.

  Yes. We check if the Compute mode is required by both for each GPU, and the driver. For example, if you are using the blockchain beta driver, the Compute mode is not needed because the huge page mode is already turned on in the driver.

After autotuning, should I just put the found values in the bat file, or could it change from run to run?

I was using -gt 15 for 3 cards (480, 570 and 580) and now autotune found -gt 13,18,16.
  Usually it is good idea to put them in the .bat file (or in the config.txt file, if you are using it). In such case you will need to run auto-tune again if you change the clocks on any of the cards, if you install new version of the driver, or if you try using the alternative kernels (-clkernel 2), as the best -gt values could be very different for the two types of kernels. It is also good idea to check if the -gt values are still the best if you upgrade the GPU drivers or install a new version of PhoenixMiner in the future.

   However if you are restarting your rigs only once a week or so, you can just let auto-tune run at each startup as it takes only a few minutes.

   If you are getting the infamous 999 error, you need to lower the memory overclock by 10-20 MHz.


First, thanks for creating such a great miner.
I don't get it how to make it mine ETC (ETH mining works perfectly). It submitted only a couple of shares to the pool. The rest is just not being submitted. I tried different types of deviding wal/workername/password, trough dot, slash etc. That doesn't seem to be the issue, since some shares were sent.
Can someone help please?
This is how my bat files looks. Another small question, how do I turn off the mining for cards 10+? Most of my rigs have less than that, but I have one rig with 13 gpu.

According to nanopool documentation, you have to specify the pool like this:

To specify that only the first 9 cards should be used by given PhoenixMiner instance, use -gpus 123456789. To specify the first 11 cards, use -gpus 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11. The only important thing is to use commas (without spaces) to separate indexes if you are going to use 10 or more as an index of a GPU.


I noticed that when exiting, the cards clocks reset to default. I don't want that, is there any way to prevent it?

Also, 3.0 seems a bit slower that 2.9

With all setting equal (launching from bat file) 2.9 gives around 600h/s more with 3 ellesmere cards.
   The clocks are reset when the miner is closing to prevent crashes if you start something else that loads the GPU in different way and the voltage settings are not good enough. Ethash is notoriously tolerant to low core voltage but if you try to run any intensive game or more core-intensive mining algorithm, the GPUs will most probably crash if the settings are left unchanged. It is not that hard to add such option though, and we will add it in the next version, time permitting.

   As for the lower hashrate, please try running both the normal and alternative (-clkernel 2) kernels and run auto-tune with both to see the maximum obtainable hashrate.

When do u wanna support Nvidia OC setting like Claymore ?
   Hopefully in the next release.


- Your -gser param is so magic! It makes my GPUs hang at start-up. Error msg: GPUx not responding!
- if not specify -gt param, my rigs often crash when it is auto-tuning.
   Sorry about this issue. To help us reproduce it and fix it, can you please tell us what -gser option you are using and with what cards/drivers/OS you are using?

Well I use Rx 470/570/480/580 cards.
Latest Amd drivers, never had crashing problems when closing the miner until v3.0C
   We will add option to avoid resetting OC on exit in the next version.

Is there a way to name the rig besides putting it behind the wallet address?  My pool doesn't like that format...
    You can use the -worker option too depending on the pool.




Dear PhoenixMiner Team

So what about core/memory clock/voltage control for Nvidia cards? That is the one thing you should do to become the best solo miner. I guess so. Any idea?

And what about dual mining? Second ASIC-resist coin may be the best choice. Is this real to mine ETH + CryptoNightv7?

Mr Phoenix - You should contact @Ragefarm about nvidia auto-tuning.  He already wrote an app that does it, I'm sure it could be incorporated or collaborated.!!!!

MPHs wallet is not your wallet.

 Roll Eyes  jeez, I think you know what he meant.  Until you cashout, your coins are held in an MPH "wallet" that is specific to your account.  He is obviously asking if MPH is going to credit BTCP per ZCL you are holding on MPH - aka will MPH support the fork.

MY SUGGESTION - if you want BTCP, get a ZCL wallet and move your coins to it prior to fork.  Don't rely on someone else (MPH) to do it for you.

Thanks for posting the info!  I'm understanding most settings, but not seeing what % Power you clocked your 1060's down to.  I have a big fleet of 1060 3gb cards and haven't found the perfect power setting yet.  Are your set to 74% and 71% for GPU 2 & 3?

Hello there

i just preapred some new rigs with 4.4.2 MSIA. The script seems to get frozen - config.bat loaded... then 120 sec to start MSIA - but nothing happens.

If i kill the process from startup and then start manually, press space to skip - launches ok.

Is it MSIA new version fault or the script?

have seen those hangs also some time on previous 20 beta version.

***Update - Bad news, after rig restart it hangs on the "Waiting 120 sec. for the full load of MSI Afterburner".  If I close and restart it the script manually it runs.  Any thoughts/ideas on what could be causing the hang?

**UPDATE - I got it running on windows 7 going strong for about 2hrs now!

What components of windows 10 does this need besides Powershell WMF 5.1 Huh  I have a lot of windows 7 rigs and can install the necessary powershell wmf if that's all it rally needs?  OR, are there other windows 10 native components it relies on?

is there a way to rerun a benchmark for a particular algorithm without having to rerun through them all?
I noticed for x17 it takes a long time for it to come up to full speed ( over 5 minutes ) so the default 120 seconds is not enough and the benchmark result is not accurate.
The same for NIST.  My single GPU 1080 scores 58.18 MH/s and my 8 x 1070 only scored 97.43 MH/s ( the benchmarking time was too short so it did not have time to ram p to full speed )

The last option is just change the number to 1800 but then it will run each benchmark for 1/2 an hour.....

Yes, quit Nemos, open the Stats folder and delete the relevant xxx_HashRate.txt file

e.g. to rebenchmark X17 delete the file called ccminerAlexis78_X17_HashRate.txt

Then you can extend the duration and it will only apply to the newly created benchmark

I restarted benchmarking all algorithms.  When it got to the x11 benchmark and it initially showed 49 MH/s, then 30 minutes later it got up to 84.97 MH/s.
Then the benchmark ended, so I guess now I have to extend the benchmark for this algorithm to 1 hour since it never had the chance to get to the top speed.
That's kind of ridiculous.
Now Nemos miner shows the speed on top of the screen as 83.97 MH/s, but this is NOT the top speed since I am sure it would have kept going up even after 1/2 an hour.
Anyone else pay attention to this X-17 algorithm while benchmarking?



Similar but slight tangent, I added ethash to my algo list and it won't benchmark it.  I cleared all benchmarks but still won't Sad  Anybody else have a similar issue?

Refresh my memory - the 64gb pagefile is really needed for just a couple of the miners?  I have a few rigs with only 40gm available Sad  I wanted to just remove the miners that REALLY need that size.

Question - does anyone have this running stable on any 750ti cards?  I have some running along with 1060's on a mixed rig and it's rebooting after a few minutes with DSTM.  Stable with ewbf. 

Apologies if the answer is here - I've looked through the threads and can't find anything clear.
I use GTX 750 since a long time with DSTM : no problems at all (61 sol/s 2.4 sol/W).

 GTX 750 and GTX 750ti aren't all that close - 750 was a Kepler card, 750ti was the "baby" of the Pascal line, similar CUDA core count and quite a bit higher clock.

 GTX 750 ti should really be mining Monero though, it's a very high efficiency Cryptonight mining card while it's a fairly poor-to-so-so equihash mining card even for the low end.

Tried this miner in place of EWBF today. Fired up on my PC easily running GTX 960 very well 161 Sol/s. Then I moved it to a rig running 6GPU EVGA GTX1070 and all I get is "VCRUNTIME140.dl not found; try reinstalling program".

Anybody encounter this on Windows 10?

Has anyone had it stay on one miner for several hours?  Mines been on lyra2z mining zcoin for 10hrs now.  I'm running 2.3.ps1, did I miss a bug fix?

I have X17 on my 1070 running for straight 2 days and a couple of switches in between within the week. Not sure why the other miners (Awesome,Nicehash) doesn't have the algo but it's the most profitable algo selected by the miner for me under zpool.

Well at least I'm not alone!  The reason I was raising the question is because the algo I was mining wasn't even matching the "top" Algo MPH listed on their site.  I will keep monitoring and report back with findings!
