1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: March 16, 2019, 05:54:25 AM
Does the Ethereum Foundation take over DOGE? Just rumors.
Didn't know about this but it's unlikely.
This is most useful meme coin of till today with real use cases continuously.
You have said it right. It's a meme coin with better use than those coins that claims they are the best.

Like what? I see plenty of volume per day on this coin but no ability to compile the daemon. I guess nobody cares about that sort of thing so it goes neglected. developer attention is much more relevant than 'use cases' even dead coins can have use cases.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinX (BCX) - Future Society Proof Cryptocurrency on: March 16, 2019, 05:51:37 AM
Hey Smiley

Can anybody explain to me how to claim BCX from my BTC-address?
I downloaded and synced the BCX desktop wallet (version: v0.16.2.0-5bf1c6d-dirty) so far.
I tried to use the console and the importprivkey command using the privat key from my BTC paper wallet.
I get the response "null" but it doesn't seem to work...

EDIT: Ok, restarting the client did it  Roll Eyes

If the daemon it tagged as "-dirty" this is a bad sign. A sign of negligence. This happens as a security feature to be sure the code was not tampered with. Because the compile script compares to the known good copies likely in the original bitcoin repo. if the source code changed then it gets tagged as "-dirty". a bad sign. I would not trust because it is very simple to fix when you fork a coin so it does not say "-dirty" .. . wtf.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: March 15, 2019, 06:14:20 AM
was attempting to include dogecoin in a wallet currently developing. however, very discouraged at this point. over an hour just trying to obtain a doge implementation for ubuntu. much problems. I almost never stray from compiling the daemon from source myself. Typically if there is no way to compile it, it is oh so rare I would install a precompiled version. However, just for a tester I figured I would add the repository ppa:cwayne18/doge. Oh, I didn't mention the problem was with an invalid detection of LibreSSL. However, OpenSSL is installed not Libre. So the resort to the PPA yielded the following error:

E: The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/cwayne18/doge/ubuntu bionic Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.
^ recommended if you are publishing a repo!

I take security very seriously on my dev machine. So obviously that was out of the question also. Resorting to the website offered me a javascript wallet which sort of defeats the whole purpose of what I am doing, I don't need somebody elses JS wallet for my work. I need a working version of the daemon. I have eight coins working great in my wallet so far. I thought since doge had such a low value it would be good for learning how to use crypto's which is part of the purpose of the wallet. That's about the only reason it was being included. Along with the fact that it should have been easily implemented being that it's another btc fork. So yeah, I am a bit miffed at this point and hanging up my hat on that one. Unless somebody has an actual fix for the absurd multi problem(s) I am looking at. I suggest to the devs to get back to work on fixing the problems that are preventing additional developments. Also having a repo like that just looks bad. The least that could be done is fixing the repo so I can download the damn daemon! alas, unless I see some obvious route to an easy solve as a response here, there's not much effort from this one on inclusion.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing Zerocoin technology for financial privacy on: March 13, 2019, 12:16:28 AM
I think this is ordinary pump maybe provoked by recent news. Cryptomarket is still down. There are just whales groups playing with random coins.
"Whales groups playing..." : perhaps.
"...with random coins" : whales never play with a random coin, it is always THE coin they choose, with specifics datas/qualities.

nothing random about this. zcoin (value only) has been dormant for some time. I picked some up the other day and omg last night did sell most of them (feeling like a fool now). I guess I needed the fiats for now. Seeing the news about the credit card thingy is a sure reason the coin would pump. Zcoin deserves much better. I was on here very critical of zcoin in some previous posts, for reasons that are no longer relevant. I have been working with a handful of coins intimately during development processes, and just a few days ago redownloaded and recompiled zcoin daemon for integration into a new wallet (not yet released). Zcoin has made the 'cut' with only a handful of other coins that I have deemed 'worthy'. What is the criteria? That it is a 'real' coin with real development. Being supported by the public helps but from my observations the public (investors who pump coins) have very little technical or fundamental understanding of these coins and why or why not they should be pumped. in other words, most seems to be pure speculation or hype on news. After recompiling zcoin I am finding that is runs better than most other coins, downloads blockchain much quicker, and obviously they have been working very diligently on this coin. That is what makes a good coin from my perspective. I am writing to commend zcoin for their efforts and kick a tire for folding my hand to early. Next time I buy another alt it will be zcoin, again. Props !

How do we know the actual holdings of this Token like an ETF, i.e what % of allocation is in which of the coins you listed ?
Are you working on a new website , I dont think binance style exchanges would list this token with the current website
visit www.nikswave.com http://www.nikswave.com/?p=997

Listing is still 3-4 Month away its going to list @ 6 exchanges Binance is one of them + 3/4 (Ready to fulfill all requirements)

No i am not at all working on website ,, all ico websites looks same &  thorecoin is working on diff model its peer to peer token transaction phase 1 + we have very limited tokens ( 2 lac max) so all in all its kind of INHOUSE Project + close association with other "group" ICOs

This is a pathetic insult. Every now and then I check cmc when I see a new scam coin make it's way to the first page. then I check the announcement page so I can see everyone on bitcointalk laughing and denouncing. So far not much on here but the posts from "thorecoin" make me want to puke. I guess there really are people stupid enough to "invest" in this scam? Maybe not. Obviously the one "exchange" that it is listed on is the same simple pump by all the other scammers. buying and selling the same coin to itself to make the value go up and rise on up to the first page of CMC. thereby in hopes of stealing anyone's money who is stupid enough to buy.

I personally am sick of this sh*t and you fools need to find a real life and a real job. You don't even have any skills to pump out a sh*t ERC token. Simply a few key clicks and press enter and POOF all of your scammy dreams have been "mined" in an instant.

One last thing that I would like to note is the absurd quote from March 12, 2018 claiming that in "3-4" months binance will list the coin. This fool is a liar and if he even bothered to read binances "terms and conditions" of listing a coin he would have seen that binance will explicitly NOT LIST any coins who mention that the coin "will be listed on binance" when in fact it was not approved and not yet listed. For obvious reasons because idiots love to pump their coins with lies. "oh, going to be on binance, I better buy now"! dream on tards I really dont think there are any more stupid people left in this scene since 2017 ICO scamfest. Perhaps you are just waiting for new idiots to show up?

So I waste a bit of my time on this joke to type this message in case you are one of the ones who may be stupid enough to ever consider buying this "coin" (actually an unminable token): DON'T

hey fellow crypto enthusiasts, thought I would make a quick post here at bitcointalk, it's been a while. really I just despise shills (haters) so I thought I would share my lens real quick. Just bought plenty of Bitcoin Gold awaiting the next lift off! Feel like celebrating cause I got the intuition (inner guidance) about this one, and it is obvious why. For those who bought in high, it's only a loss if you let your chips go. The reality is this one is about to take off (again) and it is fairly obvious now. of course the haters with ridiculous whoreded funds to push around the board wish to maintain their positions of power, that is just how this world is currently configured. however, there is some magic to the underdog, particularly the underdog with pure intentions (which is RARE in this space), so I would like to acknowledge BTG and say THANK YOU for being some of the few with obviously good intentions. The hater's will just fade away once the network becomes powerful enough. When I set my rig up again you can be sure it will be pointed at BTG, the only bitcoin with a chance to replace the ASIC infestation. Speaking of ASIC infestation, I would like to remind everyone of the recent exploits brought to light with a quick snippet from bitcointalkmagazine.com.

also I would like to share an image, but first, the clip. Don't forget that bitmain has the "kill switch" on every ASIC they have manufactured. And this kill switch is now apparently also a back door. wow, what next? here's the snippet:

-----

Will This Vulnerability Finally Compel Bitmain to Open Source Its Firmware?

As if Bitmain’s year hasn’t been rough enough, having posted big losses and laying off entire departments, its flagship product now has a firmware vulnerability.

A few weeks ago, Bitcoin Core contributor James Hilliard discovered an exploit in Bitmain’s S15 firmware. The pseudonymous Twitter user 00whiterabbit, also known simply as “john,” subsequently wrote exploit code based on Hilliard’s findings. A video proving that the exploit code worked was shared on Hilliard’s Twitter account last week.

Hilliard is offering to disclose the vulnerability to Bitmain but under one condition: Bitmain would have to comply to the GNU General Public License (GNU GPL), the popular open source license that the Chinese mining giant is currently breaching, and open source its firmware.

“Bitmain firmware is very buggy in general,” Hilliard told Bitcoin Magazine, “and it's important for the health of the Bitcoin network that users be able to fix the bugs Bitmain introduces.”
The Exploit

Hilliard, who is perhaps best known for proposing BIP91, discovered the vulnerability several weeks ago by auditing a firmware update file on Bitmain’s support site. While details have not yet been disclosed, the exploit was found in firmware of the S15, the company’s most powerful SHA256 miner in store. Hilliard thinks the same vulnerability almost certainly exists in all of Bitmain’s mining firmware.

“I’m also quite sure there are many other vulnerabilities in the firmware,” he added. “It is very poorly designed when it comes to security.”

When exploited, the vulnerability gives users root access to the machine — which is supposed to be impossible. In theory, this can be done remotely using just the IP address of the miner, and means the machine can be reprogrammed to do just about anything. This includes mining to a different Bitcoin address or having it stop mining entirely.

And here is the image, a funny sentiment:

China’s Center for Information Industry Development (CCID), an organization affiliated with the Chinese central government, has issued a new official ranking of 30 cryptocurrencies in circulation where EOS ranks as the top cryptocurrency. https://techieworld.xyz/2018/06/25/bitcoin-drops-in-official-chinese-ranking-new-winner-announced/

Wow, that is very responsible of such an "authority" on blockchain technology to endorse brand new and UNPROVEN TO WORK project so quickly! They must be paid, investors, or simply crony-ism.

No legitimate research organization would elevate such a brand new and unproven (yet proven to fail already) tech so quickly to the top position.

Not FUD just simple and obvious logic. Use some common sense and do YOUR OWN RESEARCH. If you are not capable of doing your own research of sound technologies to invest in, then you are likely not capable of making an appropriate decision with said investment.

So this is the experiment with code that is written AFTER collecting billions of dollars? Hey I got a plan... "Let's collect billions from the public to create experimental software and test it using REAL MONEY that is NOT OURS. That way we can get filthy rich while appearing to be developing code that should have been mastered before ever collecting a single actual fiat dollar " .. Hmm... Yes please, I would like to give all of my money to an untested experiment in hopes that I can be filthy rich also! Isn't that the smart choice? Hey... Where did all my money go!?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: June 26, 2018, 06:56:10 PM

This thread is filled with kool-aid drinkers and baboons. EOS is the worst attempt at inventing a new central bank, such a waste of resources in the ecosystem. OP should shut down this thread.

wow, this is my first visit to EOS thread. I figured I would check what was going on as it fails miserably to properly manage the peoples money. the success- convince tens of thousands of people that your project has value: get their money then convert the money to bitcoin. oops, the money is already in btc! so the biggest token sale in history, the value did not even go to EOS, the *actual value*, it went right to BTC. then as EOS fails to keep it's market cap, all of the money disappears leaving a gutted network with an obscenely large number of tokens (a BILLION!?) LOL ROFL who in their right mind would ever think a brand new project deserves to be fed so much resource. well, people that want to lose their money I guess.

I am not a baboon or a kool-aid drinker, but I do like your post here apparently showing the obscene waste of resource that is EOS.

Wow, a BP gets paid $10K each and every day for doing ***NOTHING!?*** ?! that is probably the highest paid server admin in the worlds history. why do they deserve this paycheck?  because the public was foolish enough to provide it while falling for yet another scam... shee it.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BITG] Bitcoin Green | Sustainable Bitcoin | POS | 85% MN | #savebitcoin on: June 26, 2018, 06:20:43 PM
It will be necessary to study in more detail the project itself and team if it is. I wonder what the project plans and goals, as well as methods of implementation and implementation. The coin may be issued purely for speculative purposes and does not carry anything of value. But a lot of good reviews from beginners. I wonder what it is, they are paid for it or not?

I'm not an investor that comes on bitcointalk to shill a project for personal gain.

The specs are great also. 21m total coins and only 3m coins in circulation. That's a winner to me. Add the masternodes and the project elevates even more.

hip hop and away...

Pretty much what you say you are not doing is exactly what you are doing  Cheesy

The detail you go into about the specs are astonishing....wow just because it has 21m coins and 3m in circulation makes it a winner huh? Man it must have taken hours or research to come to that conclusion....

Go back 4-5 pages and you will see my post saying this coin WILL dump to 50-55k, guess I was right huh? Sorry but the only thing this coin has going for it is branding, and even then it's hijacking the bitcoin name and not even forking off. This is nothing more than a pivx/dash masternode clone with POS and a green branding angle.

Not that it's a terrible project, just don't believe hype, these young masternode coins are prone to consistent dumping right now.

I will show up here to agree with post and again criticize the useless defense of such a coin by the holders. I was also prone to public outbursts of defense for shitty/scam projects many times on bitcoin talk here. It is challenging to feel love and support for a coin then to invest in a new project, while not supporting the coin publicly (in hope of valuation) for obvious reason. Of course everybody wants the coin they are holding to gain, so the coin automatically has plenty of the supporters posting for its promotion... in total ignorance of the teams credibility, ability, or code efficacy.

I am changing my ways now and I am no longer holding any of these "out-of-nowhere" alt coins. Anybody can clone dash or pivx or whatever and rebrand it. I cloned Zcash in 5 minutes and with a few simple command line statements changed every single instance of the word Zcash to the name of my new coin. It is very easy requiring less than 5 minutes. However it is not so easy to get the genesis block on Zcash network because of deliberate obfuscation of such by the devs. However, this is likely not the case with bitg, dash, or any of those other coins that have genesis block generating scripts to easily accomplish the goal of a new coin in 5 minutes. Anybody investing in cryptos should know this by now. I never released my Zcash clone because there is absolutely no point in doing so. It was simply research at this time.

My point is, the efficacy/validity of this project can only be shown by the integrity of the team. If you do not know if the team has integrity then you should not be holding this coin. I made some good money from bitg and dumped at $7, thank god. Why did I dump them? Not because I dont like the idea of a green bitcoin. The thing I dont like is the total scam websites and twitter accounts made about 5 years ago (prior to scamlaunch/bitg) ... I did plenty of due diligence and I saw the "Spiderman" character involved with a big number of scam coins as the "lead dev" .. most of the coins failed. I can name a few just from memory- phor, hodl, well I forget the others . just websearch "con easy" I mean "konez" github for his weak-ass github page .. and if you want a review on one of the scam projects here is one:

https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/hodl-coin/

and even if you think these projects are legit how can one guy be a "lead dev" on about 5 different coins (that I noticed in 30 mins of web searches)..

and the fake websites when investigating these supposed advisors of BITG.

this coin is a scam. if you don't believe me, then just ask yourselves how a lead dev can work on so many coins that are failing/broken and still have any attention to bitg, the one "legitimate" (yeah rite) coin.

I am not going to say any more here because all of the data is available through web searches, plenty enough to ask yourselves why you would hold such a coin.

Additionally, has the the "team" made good on any of the statements presented on the roadmap? After long enough the public will realize none of it has been adhered to and no longer value the coin.

I am all about proof of stake coins that do not involve proof of work mining and environmental destruction. however, at this time we have only one way to guarantee any value of a coin and that is the absurd amount of power ($) spent on generating the coin giving it a "floor" value .. ie: bitcoin.

when the coins spit out like water pouring with no energy involved to create, the ONLY thing you have to rely on is the INTEGRITY OF THE DEVELOPERS. in this case, I don't see any. Apologies folks, I am calling bullshit on this one.

I think dash is making much more progress in terms of building use case communities around the world. The decentralized governance structure and instantsend tech make it impossible for monero to compete with. This is reflecting in the price.

I think dash is making much more progress in terms of building use case communities around the world. The decentralized governance structure and instantsend tech make it impossible for monero to compete with. This is reflecting in the price.

I suppose the fact that it's a premine scam doesn't factor into the assessment?
The fact is that Dash was not premined and it is not a scam. There was an instamine problem, but it was long time ago and it was sorted and explained. Do your own research and you will find the facts. I actively watch Dash and Monero since 2014 and I have to say that Dash has done much bigger progress than Monero. Anyway we will see in following years which coin will be the real digital cash.

rofl! is the success of dash so poor at this moment that you guys paid from the $60MLN dash pr budget show up to the monero thread to attempt to salvage some market cap!?

I remember when dash was $5 and at the time it seemed like a good idea, before the thousand other btc clones. I also saw monero at $5 .. didn't invest in either at the time. now I see what dash has done, loss of so much wealth for so many. buried an idiot egg of foolish pr scampride on top of mount everest and killed a f*kin sherpa who was poor looking for it! of all the senseless things I have seen in the crypto community, dash's so called pr stunt was one of the most wrong.

to be fair and expand my perspective (while doing research on which coins to include in the wallet I am writing), I recently bought some dash. when the market just tumbled again I was sure to get rid of ALL OF THEM because at the time they cost $450 worth of btc and I lost over 30% by the time I got rid of them. The choice was simple, have faith that dash will rise again and I will hold them to keep from losing the 30% btc investment .. or ditch the crap knowing that it would never be what it was, that it had lost the confidence of all investors, that is had literally killed a sherpa (go ahead, google it!)  .. needless to say i got rid of them and I am glad that I did. I bought btc. I am holding some monero and although it has dropped from $165 to whatever it is now in just some weeks, it did WAY better than dash for losing the money haha because monero will regain its value as it has a solid community and an actual vision and actual use cases. not just some pie in the sky crap like all of these alt coin slingers would have you lose your hard earned btc to gain some sh*tcoin that will eventually be worth nothing.

monero is in it for the long run, that is obvious.. and as they say in the crypto scene... hold

I bought Komodo's coins. But I can not deal with the wallet.  In the native mode for about 12 hours there is a synchronization every time you start. In spv mode, there is no connection to servers. A terrible wallet.

I have been using Agama since its first release and I have never faced such problems. Neither that synchronization starts from the beginning on every lauch in native mode nor that I do not have no connections in SPV mode with the most up to date wallet version.

I suggest to look into the log if there is anything that cause your issue. Go to the three lines button right corner above and choose settings. Then open slider 'Komodod stdout'. Is there anything?

Apologies but Agama is a terrible piece of Javascript trash. You people defending it are simply vested in to Komodo and don't wish your stocks to go down. I understand, but I never would defend such a trash software because it is just bad. I have compiled komodo daemon several times now and even the daemon is bad. That is why they tell you to run Agama and that is their "official" wallet.

I was going to stop speaking for a moment but after my recent communication with babbling (new) "JL777B " who is most likely an Asian national, not even an english-first-language-speaker (which is actually a big let down because I think Asians are better programmers [in general] and it is sad to see somebody doing such a bad job on the code).

I have been following Komodo since just after their ICO and watched all of this monkey business like a bad joke scam. Has anyone tried to load up Komodod from the command line? Nope.. Try loading Zcash then try loading Komodod. I just got a SCREAMING FAST i7 full blown gaming machine with liquid cooling, 6 core processor hyperthreading (x2 on each core so 12 cores) ..  What made me sad and almost want to puke: I run Zcash and Komodo compiled both on my machine and fully loaded blockchains and up to speed.. Just try to boot each one and see how quick Zcash loads and how Komodo takes about 20X longer. You may think that is because you have a slow machine or that Komodo is just so amazing that it should be eating your processor like that. Well you just dont know about computers then, and you have been scammed.

Since compiling komodo over a year ago and now compiling it again I see minimal changes mostly the words "DIRTY" as attached by the ZCASH autogen script to prevent unknown tampering with the code and redistro (amongst other things likely just to make copy cats look bad). Komodo still says dirty. They cant even be bothered to change the helped files that say Zcash still. Wow.. They cant even be bothered, they must be SOOO BUSY!

You fools should pull heads from asses and realize you have been duped.

I was a fool too, I bought kshitoto a short while ago at 45000 satoshi, (.00045) .. then watched hitbtc set a booby trap that me the fool stepped into and lost about 20% of my coins to sell them out of an un-withdrawable system at 30k satoshi. Now cryptopia blocks komodo action last time market shifts.

Now KMD not even worth 25k satoshi. I AM SO GLAD I SOLD ALL OF MY KOMODO AND BOUGHT BITCOIN BEFORE THIS HAPPEN I HAD OVER $10K IN KSHIT FOR THAT 5% INTEREST WHAT A FUKIN JOKE !!

Anyone with a brain who knows anything about code can look at "JL777"s handiwork and see he really hasn't done shit except confound CON everything. And just look at the Javascript crap they call a GUI.

Wow.. I would say learn more about programming and computers and do some due dilligence on these fools before losing any more money. ALL BAD. ALL SCAM.

and by the way if you read my past posts you can see I am in some contradiction because I did buy BITG to support them because only another scam and just the idea of making the world better was appealing. Howveer I sold all of those and resorted to the ultimate demon energy wasting mechanism: bitcoin!! That should really protect my money. HAH I have renewed faith in BTC because everyone is realizing that all of these shit coins are scams right about now and they will soon flock back to the only known coins worth a shit at all: bitcoin, zcash and monero.

Have a nice day investors! Dont say that you weren't warned when your money is gone.

Amen Bro!

Thank you, I am glad somebody understands. I have been watching people get scammed (and getting scammed myself) for too long now. Now I look at the code and the tek, not supportive words of shills and investors. If the tek is not at least to a fair portion original code, they have no reason the be paid millions of dollar. And all any of this 'tek' is, as we all know, just bitcoin, and zcash did add some originality, and so did cryptonote.. I won't mention the other coins that have only been good to loose millions of dollars of investors money (choke, ahem,  eth)

True. I was introduced to kmd from a friend that loved the vision of kmd. I know he holds more than me and I hold a lot. His enthusiasm has changed for the project as of late. I know he hates to admit it but he lets things "slip" out about how he is unloading a portion of his holdens due to this.

Yes I know I dumped my kmd, apologies to all holders. The simple truth is that it is a ponzi scam. Just see the team page:

A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investing scam promising high rates of return with little risk to investors. The Ponzi scheme generates returns for older investors ...

That is right from the search engines guys. I hope this makes sense to even the slowest. I wish everyone all the best and it is not my intention to be rude, simply that those who still have any wealth after holding komodo do the right thing and move it to something worthy or just BUY GOLD (you are better off even though gold is a SHITTY investment right now).

Calling this coin "Bitcoin" feels a little bit disingenuous to me. Other than supply, why is it any more "Bitcoin" than any other master node coin?

Yawn... Suggestion to find a valid criticism or take your worthless comments elsewhere. Every bitcoin fork is a "bitcoin" a coin made of bits. Get a clue buddy! Do you post the same on all of the other bitcoin announcements? There is quite a growing list now. However, none have the virtue of this coin, and they are all POW mined. Is that your definition of a bitcoin? (something that was POW mined?) if so, you have a lot of research to do or you simply are here to spread negative energy?

For your edification, Bitcoin Green is the coin of 2018. Early supporters will be well rewarded, as they deserve for supporting an innovative and forward-moving project. the old "Bitcoin" is now in the land of the dinosaurs being replaced with better technology from some of the worlds best and brightest. Whoever would give one person and a name such credit to displace the potential deeds of the future genuises is a fool indeed!

Bitcoin Green is building a solid community and for the reference of the reader, I am simply a member of the community. However, I am also a shareholder because this is the best coin I have seen. So don't be surprised when the shills get burned ! And I suggest to all of the other supports of this coin to step up and claim this thread.

We need some more positive energy here and if nothing else we can all laugh at the shills.  Roll Eyes

Sorry for silly misconfiguration... I modified to quark.

Why quark???

Baikal have 10GH/s quark ASICs!!!

Made hardfork now. Choose another algo.

LoL ? Serious Huh so why the name bitcoin green  eco friendly but uses ASICs =?  go home please

what is this

Looks like the shills are restless...

To the new community members: If you notice, devs don't post here much. Mostly just shills and trolls on the bitcointalk thread when not very busy with actual conversation. What I have noticed about this forum when new coins show up and the competition gets scared.. They send their shills to attempt to discredit. It seems everyone should know that by now, just in case.

BITG is one of the best coins I have seen in the past years, and the only coin I care to hold. I am simply a coin researcher who had the good fortune of finding this coin in the perfect moments. Now and it will only get better I am sure. The software is sound, runs cleanly and is amazingly bountiful.

Welcome to the good people.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BTCP] BitcoinPrivate: A Truly Private Bitcoin [Equihash] on: April 14, 2018, 03:37:18 PM
One apparent reason can be many people dumped in early days their free coins which which they got form hard fork and large part of supply may have reached in whales possessions. That's why they can move the market the way they want. It really surprised everyone suddenly Bitcoin Private woke up and came into news and discussions.

No am not surprised by the sudden rise in price, this is what Rhett does. When it was all about whale coin, it was been touted as the coin that was going to fuel this huge decentralized social network site. A lot of ppl bought into the bullshit and soon as he saw that bitcoin forks were garnering a lot of interest in the news, and everyone was talking about privacy (even Bs coins like deep onion was killing it due to great marketing), he abandoned his post at whalecoin,  bought a bunch of zclassic for ridiculously low price, and announced a fork of zclassic. Which we all know he didn't have to fork zclassic to make bitcoin private a reality, there were countless option he would have utilized if he had the interest of the community in mind.

But been the shady fucker he is, he intentionally named it bitcoin private cos he knew there was alot of newbs on the scene and they will automatically anticipate that it might attain the same success that bitcoincash had. (After all, it had the name bitcoin in it and it a fork of a coin that sounds like zcash and everyone is talking about zcash) Coupled with his shill army, this drove the price of zclassic up to a point ( comparable to other major bitcoin forks/zcash price) where he comfortable sold and easily made over 9000% percent gain on his investment, and that , not counting the BTCP he also received from the fork. The individuals that bought zlassic ATH received a coin that was worth less than 1/16th what they paid for Zclassic ATH) then he left zclassic and headed over here to repeat the same thing.

so anyone who has been following his progression knew a pump of BTCP was inevitable, my only advise to a new investor perusing thru this thread is to make your money fast. this is not a guy you depend on and hold for the long term cos soon as something else piques the market's interest, he will abandon this and go fork that. He even admit it that he loves to fork several coin and it's good for the ecosystem, whatever that means. It's all good if he stays on top of each one rather than fork, milk, abandon and moves to the next stag.

Thank you for sharing your insight with all of the ignorant people who will show up to this thread to be robbed like ZCL. It is truly sad and pathetic that the other responses to this post were just negative and rude comments towards somebody with obviously good intention of protecting the interests of new arrivals (humans/investors not greed demons).

To be honest, I have only been following this story since I watched ZCL pump like something the "creator" (forker) probably attached to his own phallus and used to (attempt to) increase his size. Ah overcompensation. A bad joke and a greed that will never be sated, that is what we are looking at when viewing BTCP.

As a software developer and a student of all (interesting) things crypto, I must say that the first IDIOT move of this fork was to fork ZCL..ZCL was broken, as was ZCASH when it was released (the version that ZCL forked). there was a problem with merging joinsplits on the Z addresses that was/is losing peoples coins:
https://github.com/zcash/zcash/issues/3114

search "zcash joinsplit bug git"

Anyway, I thought they (zcash) fixed that (BY NOW!!!) but the issue is still open as anyone can see. Public info.. Zcash has problems and as such it should have never been released in its current state. Should have been fixed first. But the greedy devs got rich by idiots. I was one of them (an idiot for investing in zcash). When I found out Zero had the same bug (that is where I discovered it when I LOST my zero locked on a Z address. thank god it was 15 zero not 15 ZEC but it would have made no difference to the code what the coin value was. read this as, if it had been Zcash it would have been lost just the same. Why? Nobody knows, apparently but the code keeps getting perpetuated and people keep losing money.

BTCP is a broken fork, the problem will NEVER be fixed. If Zcash hasn't even fixed it then Zcash forks are DOOMED unless somebody BETTER than zcash steps up and actually FIXES the problem not just clones to infinity.

That is not even to mention the social problem of this coin and the forkers (who have NO INTENTION of improving or developing a coin) are like a cancer to the whole scene. But thats to be expected. Follow the money, follow the greed, rise up to get exploited and vote for BTCP!

Just some very bad sarcasm to example how stupid people are.

Do you research before investing or simply be prepared to lose all of of your money.

I cant believe people still invest in such scams...

Apother copypaste "project" to steal btc from people giving them useless coins.

"proof of work is a problem". Yeah, so you reinvented bicycle and make apother DASH fork.

I can't believe people are still so closed minded. Bitcoin green is a great coin and a refreshing plan of action. DASH is mined with ASICS. So is Bitcoin. You have nothing productive to say it is better just not to post!

Have a nice day Smiley
