Download Cast XMR 1.1.0 for Windows (64bit)

SHA256 hash of cast_xmr-vega-win64_110.zip:
4d477d47117ea51e27e730bbe5676e53a18e0ca8f69fa3d41bcdd74d4a453075

Thank you so much for this, I have only had it running for a few minutes but switching the intensity up to 10 on my Vega64's has got them hashing around 1550h/s once more. Very much appreciated.

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: windows 10 6 card mining rig freezes on: June 01, 2018, 02:48:22 PM
I would say your best bet is to do a fresh install of your previous version of windows 10 and there is a registry entry where you tell the machine to get its updates from a local wsus server rather than microsoft update. If you set this address to a random one on your network windows won't be able to get any updates and should keep you on Windows 10 (1703 or whatever it was) until YOU decide that you want to do updates.

I am going to do this over the weekend as I'm having exactly the same problems as yourself and it is so frustrating to have the lower hashrates and the crashing every day.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Cast XMR] high speed XMR/CryptoNight miner for RX Vega GPUs (2 KHash/s) on: May 22, 2018, 03:44:40 PM
Hey guys. I have recently build 8 VEGA rigs and using CastXMR. All is doing fine except yesterday one of my rigs went offline. Now when I tried to open de bat file it instantly shuts down the file again. I have reinstalled windows, adrenaline drivers etcetera but the problem persists. Im using exactly the same bat file (with another workername) as other rigs. Does anyone have idea whats happening here?

Check to make sure your copy of CastXMR.exe is still in the same directory. I had this a few times and windows defender had deleted or quarantined the file.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ARTAX(XAX) - Next Generation Mobile Storage Platform [Governance][MN][POS] on: April 29, 2018, 03:24:17 PM
Really Very Kind of Important Announcement

Cryptobridge will soon be shutting down Artax Trading and all Old Artax Wallets.  All ticker symbol ARTX will be removed from the Cryptobridge exchange in 7 days so please remove all of your ARTX before this date.  Not doing so will lead to COMPLETE LOSS of all coins after this 7 day deadline.

XAX (The New Artax Coin for the ArtaxQ platform) will then begin to trade on Cryptobridge.

Thanks again for hanging with us Fellow Artaxers as we continue to progress through this transition period.

Sincerely,
ArtaxCoin

I'm sorry but I'm really confused by this information.
I have 2500 ARTAX coins on cryptobridge and I never knew about this change from ARTAX to XAX, and why would I? Where does this leave me and others who have purchased on Cryptobridge? Can we do an exchange for XAX?

If not why on earth would it be allowed that ARTAX coin is still tradeable on there?

If i have to withdraw my ARTAX coins what wallet am i to use the one from the http://artaxcoin.org/ website?

Sorry to sound so angry but I don't understand

Thanks

After executing the BAT, the miner open and closes  before i see anything.

Ive added just the --help to the bat and nothing more. Ive found the instructions example not sufficient .

Can someone help me and share a Vega 64 x 6 config please.

Hi Cryptoplay,

You need to open a command prompt and then run the .bat file to see what it is doing. Navigate to the location of your cast_xmr.exe file and make sure your .bat file is in the same folder.

Open a command prompt and then navigate to that folder, type the name of your bat file and look at the error message that the file generates. It is most likely to do with the numbering scheme of your graphics cards.

I will try making a little video later on to show you what i mean.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Confusion with MasterNodes on: April 07, 2018, 10:00:26 PM
Yes Arubacloud for £1 per month works fine for Masternodes. I have a few running on there which seem to have been really stable.

Try buying SAROS or SUCRE coins at the moment and set a masternode up as it will be a very cheap way for you to learn how to do it.

There are a number of very cheap masternodes available at the moment so it is worth experimenting with a few different cheap coins and getting familiar with the process.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any word on amd vega hash rates? on: April 06, 2018, 07:51:45 PM
Hey , can someone help me setting up my Vega rigs for xmr mining ?

I had a perfect setup using xmr-stak-amd , with 1407/1100 settings, all cards reg modded etc.

Now with the new XMR-STAK I am facing following problem - all shares are rejected by the pool, when using these settings even with a single thread. Pressing R shows low difficulty share errors , wtf?

Oddly enough, I am getting all good results using the ETH settings I am using - 875 core / 1100 memory. Hashrate is significantly lower of course.

Any idea how to set this up right?

I'm not sure if this is applicable to the problem you are having but i was experiencing the same "low difficulty share errors" when trying to mine stellite today.

The fix was to use the new version of Cast_xmr (version 092) and the --algo switch to tell it to use the new algorithm ( the --algo is not a mistype). It would not work until that switch was in the bat file. Here is a copy of my .bat file but please note that i am using 2 Vega 64 cards so you will have to change the -g switch to your own requirements. And i am still using the Blockchain version of the amd drivers.

cast_xmr-vega -S stellite.ingest.cryptoknight.cc:16223 -u Se3Az8q18VrRxivgz6W4JHHyBqSQtnBg3ck8Wj5Zf4s91yjLCD3qru3j1ukF3xh1mVA9WRL9fN63G6L niNd7yfWr19iVYLq3p PSW: x --algo=1 -G 0,1 -R --forcecompute

Hope this is of some help.

Needing some help getting my masternode started. I have 1000 coins in wallet, below is my config files that I have coded so far, but can anyone review and see what I am doing wrong because I keep getting a this error....

"alias": "freebish86",
  "result": "failed",
  "errorMessage": "Could not find alias in config. Verify with list-conf."

Open Wallet Config File (NOTE: Privkey has been altered for security)

rpcuser= Goa1
rpcpassword= Rush17
masternode=1
server=1
rpcport=99914
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
masternodeprivkey= 3fY6gXk5Wx4xUYWWya7aKkDQWiTEBQxeVZQW6rwDatrynweTVQb
externalip= 182.265.96.118

Masternode config file

Goa1 182.265.96.118:1947 3fY6gXk5Wx4xUYWWya7aKkDQWiTEBQxeVZQW6rwDatrynweTVQb
ad089od249f293c64cpe807672469298e0037760fecf20e4a97c2op14c1ea315-0

How do I check and see if port 1947 is open on windows?

I think the error is in your masternode config file

it should be

Goa1 182.265.96.118:1947 3fY6gXk5Wx4xUYWWya7aKkDQWiTEBQxeVZQW6rwDatrynweTVQb
ad089od249f293c64cpe807672469298e0037760fecf20e4a97c2op14c1ea315 0

and not
Goa1 182.265.96.118:1947 3fY6gXk5Wx4xUYWWya7aKkDQWiTEBQxeVZQW6rwDatrynweTVQb
ad089od249f293c64cpe807672469298e0037760fecf20e4a97c2op14c1ea315-0

very slight difference but that "-" could be your problem.

Scam

Nothing clear, bad links, Discord expired, DEV sleeping...the coin is dead.

Discord is live, one of the Dev's is on there now and is quite an active community.

I agree that he is possibly struggling with the coin tech but I'm sure with the right people supporting him he can sort it out.

He needs to acknowledge this to himself and get people with the necessary skills involved. It sounded like he was stressed by trying to accomplish it himself.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅[ANN] Curium [ANN] CRU |🔨 POW & MasterNodes 🔨| New CryptoCurrency | AirDrop✅ on: February 24, 2018, 08:38:31 PM
Has the discord channel suddenly be closed down?
I was on there earlier today and it just sort of disappeared.

Mrmetech I would suggest that you compile the necessary software for running a masternode so that it is something even relative noobs can attempt and then make a 10 minute youtube video on how to setup VPS with cold wallet and list all the commands for it. You will get far far fewer questions that take you away from your main work of developing this coin. A little time spent know can save hours of repeating yourself over and over.

Look at what this team have linked in their discord https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5N3y5tZ7UDo

So easy to follow and implement and if yours was similar you would save so much hassle.

Withdrawl confirmed to Cryptobridge and sold half of my coins already.

Didn't believe I would ever get them back but glad to have been proved wrong. Now lets hope they can get all the other wallet withdrawls working in the next week or two and everyone can get their money back. There will be some very happy people if that happens, let's hope it does.

Order Processed at last - took me a good 15 - 20 attempts thought before it worked so I would tell others to persevere with it.

How do i find the tx id on my coinsmarkets withdrawl? Thanks

Anyone here with 1070s or 1080s and what results are you getting?  Better with the new algorithm?  I hea that amd card support is not up to snuff yet is anyone working on that?

Getting these averages:

1070 - 3616
1070ti - 4804
1080 - 4838
1080ti - 6538

EVGA FTW 1080ti - 6720 - using Hive.OS

Is anyone else having trouble mining this coin right now?
I keep getting errors similiar to "reject reason: low difficulty share of 1.1285077811500455e"
I have tried 2 pools now same problem, it starts ok then quickly comes up with that message.

***Sorry i found out that i was mining to the low difficulty port like an idiot, ha ha only wasted an hour on it, tha'll teach me to try and do more than 1 thing at a time****

***That wasn't actually the problem, I was trying to mine the old algo and not Allium***
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ANN] 🌟🌟 [ABS] 🌟🌟🌟 ABSOLUTE 🌟🌟🌟 MASTERNODES 🌟🌟 POW 🌟🌟 ASIC RES🔥 on: February 17, 2018, 01:04:51 PM
I can’t even feel bad for the people that bought a masternode or more.  He sold you people 55 master nodes for $3000+ each lol.  It blows my mind how much money people hand over with zero understanding.  I mean it’s obvious that most if not all of them don’t even have enough common sense to read the ANN.  Anyone with the slightest knowledge would of read any one of the pieces of proof I gave, checked if my comment was legit, seen that it was and then ran like hell!  Heck just the idea of someone putting 60!!!!! masternodes up for auction should of clued this people in, go find yourself a legit coin that has sold anything like that lol.

How many people have posted stuff like “solid coin, lots of good info. I’m gonna support this”. Those are either the scammers alt account or some real low knowledge individuals.  The only thing posted about this coin is 2 paragraphs about the features of the dash coin fork that he took and put up with no work.  I could make the wallet, website, explorer and genesis in a night.  Some of you clearly have no clue how easy it is.   All you need to do is click fork on a coin in github, then do a find all cbs and replace with abs. Then a find all cerebrus and replace with absolute.  Change some png files, a couple addresses and bobs your uncle I made a coin.

52 million coins, 30 created every 90 seconds and 1000 coins for MN.  There is enough coins mined every 45 mins for a MN, even if this wasn’t a scam, you are not gonna make your money back from buying one of those 60 MN

Ps you could buy 1000 coins for a MN from the exchange for $1000 lol

Thanks captain obvious!

You forget some people in your analysis, i still manage to turn a profit over it (it all depends how you play it) even if i mostly agree with what you said...

I understand that he might be angry because of being scammed by some SGPR coin or whatever. What I do not understand is why this individual is targeting us specifically pouring so much hate on this board...

Also I do not understand why he is simply LYING

'55 master nodes for $3000+' - where does this come from?

One glimpse at premine address: http://explorer.absolute-coin.com/address/AZfFQ9AxYJBCMuqRG33SMrfms58w6C2tKU
And you may see that he is lying.

Also I've looked at the repository of the project, that this hater is comparing Absolute to. Absolute is forked from different (newer) version of Dash, so what he described is not true.

I have nothing against critics, he may have his opinion, but being angry doensn't give him the right to lie to the users of this forum.

Your crap coin became unworthy of deep analysis days ago. All the hard proof is already set in stone I don’t need to waste any time nailing down specifics.  But since you called it out, I will gladly state where my quick math came from.  A.) 55 wallets in the top 100 had 1000+ coins, not including premine wallet (sure I could of did a little due dillegence and subtracted 5 for pools but I didn’t). B.) your discord channel states you will auction 30 MN Thursday and 30 Friday for a total of 60, so 55 seemed ok.  Lastly your auction rules state all node will start at 0.3btc and btc has been worth roughly $10000.  So there you have it 55 MN at $3000, but I guess I’ll change that story to HE TRIED TO SELL 60 MN for $3000+ a piece on top of half a million premine all this money for a dime a dozen copied coin that will never do anything accept dump 500,000 coins when the market is peaked.  If you check out Absolute-coin.com domain you can see that he was too broke to even fork over a few dollars more to pretend he planned on being around longer than a year.  Website created Feb 3rd 2018, expires Feb 3rd 2019.  Github (Joined February 12th, first repository February 14th) Joined bitcointalk February 12th, posted ANN February 12th with no wallet and no plan to release one until 2 days after genesis until I called you out.  Please try to convince anyone with an IQ higher than their age that this “project” had any effort or thought out into it.  Hell not even a white paper, you just posted “coming soon” lol a business plan is step 1.  Congratulations though you made a white paper that has some pictures and copied and pasted generic Cryptocurrency information.  My 7 year old could of made that in 10mins.

Let’s look at your reasons absolute-coin will be great according to your site.

1.). Masternodes - Collect Absolute Coins to start a Masternode and enjoy passive source of income (Yeah ok that differentiates you from the other 500 MN coins how?)

2.) smart wallet - Confirm payments and exchange cryptocurrencies with your fingerprint (yeah the guy that threw together a coin with zero thought is going to make a smart wallet that claims it’s going to be an exchange lol.  That’s really weird I mean your saying your gonna make an exchange in your mobile wallet and all you say about it is one sentence). Quack quack

3.) Focus on user - Specialist support and voting rights assigned to Masternodes (yup masternode voting, novel ideal your gonna revolutionize the market with this one lol)

4.) Dynamic Team - We have great ambitions and innovative ideas. With our experience in finance and technology and your support we will make them come true.  ( we have “ideas” and “experience”). Yeah you clearly have no ideas 💡 except talking about what the coin you forked does already. Team and experience I’ve already pointed out that no where is their any mention of who you or this team is, let alone your experiences.

Your selling snake oil.  A cancer to the Blockchain.  You scammers are the reason for the bad name and hardships of this technology.  You are the reason counties and governments regulate and ban Cryptocurrency.  It’s ok though cause I might make money on your scam as well.  But it’s not my goal just a possible byproduct in the end.  When I submit all the information about your scam to the SEC after you pull your exit scheme and collect my whistle blower percentage when they take all your stolen money and jail you.  Because you my friend have left your your digital signature all over the place the first 3 days and I gladly documented it all.

P.s. I’ve only ever been scammed once and it was for more money they your entire scam coin is worth.  Coinex.pw is the only person I hate lol.  You are just one of many little fish scammers that I will run into while I’m looking for good coins to invest in and sorry your not special, I will collect info and out of all them as well.

Well said Skimanner, the amount of naive people on these forums is ridiculous. I wish some people would listen to your advice and facts that you are showing them but it would appear a lot of it is falling on deaf ears.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Experiences with CoinsMarkets.com? on: February 14, 2018, 08:55:44 AM
yea but what can u do. its horrible to have + run 15 or 30 different wallets on one machine, especially if its ur only machine that you use for other things

Surely it is cheaper to buy an additional hard drive for your current machine or even another very basic computer, could be second hand to run your wallets on rather than leave all your coins on the exchange and risk losing them. I've lost well over $1000 by having coins on Coinsmarkets and I guarantee you it won't happen again on any other exchanges. I keep everything in a local wallet now which is encrypted the minute the wallet is installed and it's backed up everyday.

There is no need to constantly keep updating your wallet either to see what your balance is. You can just use the block explorer for your coin and input your wallet address and then bookmark it in your favourite browser and you can do this for all your coins. You would only need to update the actual wallet once a week or once per fortnight when the computer is not busy. It is half an hour of setting everything up and makes life much easier and you are not relying on anyone else to manage your coins. you then only send your coins to the exchange at the times you need to.

Hopefully you will take some advice from experienced crypto users on this board who have been through all these issues before as your current train of thought will see you lose out big time at some point. I don't wish to see anyone go through losing money so you do need to take responsibility for protecting your own coins and not leaving them in the hands of exchanges that either don't have the skills or experience to manage it properly or the more sinister intention of running off with your money. As you will have seen in this thread there is very little chance of recovering our coins via any legal channels so best protect yourself from getting caught out in the future.

Not being picky about it but you might want to change it.
