2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCjam - Any Thoughts or Experiances on: March 31, 2015, 01:15:02 PM
Too many scammers, I've lost 0.5 BTC there and all I have is an e-mail account full of arbitrations, there's no real protection for the investor.
Stay away!

port 3333 is blocked in my corporate network, I can only use 80 or 8080 for mining, any chance you start accepting traffic in any of these ports?

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to mine from behind a firewall with most ports shut. on: February 27, 2015, 11:30:33 AM
I had the same problem, there are pools who use port 80 or 8080 for mining.

I know that you buy "bare" prisma blades from ASICMINER, also bitcrane sells blades http://www.bitcrane.com/ASIC
and http://technobit.eu/
11  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: If you had 10K to invest would you mine Bitcoin? on: January 09, 2015, 04:13:48 PM
I would buy bitcoins, the current price is below 300$, just buy them and you can sell them when the price goes up.
12  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can cloud mining be profitable? on: January 09, 2015, 04:11:55 PM
I think you best chance is http://amhash.com, you can buy and sell you GH anytime you want and the price is based on supply and demand.
In services like zeushash you are stuck with your GH forever and the price is fixed by them.
CEX.io is the worst choice, maintenance fees are higher than the mined coins, you will get a negative balance.
13  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Thinking about purchasing 20 TH/s worth of hardware. on: January 09, 2015, 04:07:52 PM
Just buy bitcoins, with the current price below 300$, it is the most certain way to get a profit.
14  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Free electricity... Should I buy a miner? (Antminer S1?) on: January 09, 2015, 04:04:46 PM
I think that an antminer S5 is you best option because the have relatively low power consumption and they produce low noise.
Spondoolies SP20 is also a good option but the fan is loud according to reviews.
I personally have a fishtank and I intend to buy some prisma blades, just the blades and immerse them in cooling fluid. It's the cheapest and quietest option.
15  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: want to try cloudmining, where to start on: January 09, 2015, 03:59:55 PM
http://amhash.com/ is cloud mining in the form of stocks, mined coins are received as devidend, you can buy and sell the GH any time you want, price depends on supply and demand and they have low maintenance fees
16  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which manufacturers also do Cloud Services on: January 09, 2015, 03:48:55 PM
http://amhash.com/ is jointly operated by ASICMiner and RockMiner
17  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining Rates on: January 09, 2015, 03:45:34 PM
As we have seen, multiple entities are now offering cloud mining service for bitcoin at various rates. I'm listing a few sites as per my knowledge below with their currently offered rates per GHS. Please post about the sites you know with their rates...

1. https://cex.io/ => 0.00268387 BTC/GHS

2. http://pbmining.com/ => 0.0021 BTC/GHS

3. http://www.cloudmining.website/ => 0.001 BTC/GHS

4. https://cloudhashing.com/ => 0.59 USD/GHS

5. https://hashie.co/ => 0.451 USD/GHS

PBMining is 0.0015/GH's

6. http://amhash.com, you can watch the price live at https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=AMHASH1
and maintenance fee $0.00163 per GH per day or $0.0489 per GH per month

7. http://zeushash.com, the price varies depending on how many GH/s you buy, the maintenance fees is fixed at $0.0023 per GH per day
18  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which cloud mining service you are using and why ? on: January 09, 2015, 03:36:14 PM
I' ve used CEX.io and zeushash in the past, but now I 've turned to http://amhash.com/, low maintenance fee and you can sell the GH at any given time even with profit.
19  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: HashBuff in ZeusHash! Go get it and double your mining profits! on: January 09, 2015, 03:32:20 PM
I got 3 set of 7 days 0 maintenance fee when purchased 3 separate 0.1mh/s . Does that mean the 0 maintenance fee only apply to the 3 I bought or it will apply to all y previous purchased as well? I have 48mh/s on the account, not sure if the 7 days maintenance fee will apply on those.

the 0 maintenance fee only apply to the 3 you bought, not to your entire hashrate
20  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining (NSFW) on: January 09, 2015, 12:39:00 PM
That's a "solo" mining video, due to "engorged" difficulty.  Shocked
I would "mine" that coin 24/7.  Wink
