1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can a hacker access accounts with 2FA GAuth? on: February 23, 2015, 06:05:39 AM
I mean, I have other bitcoin accounts.  I have other coins in multiple places.  2FA being on my phone of course.  All those coins are safe and have always been safe.  I don't see why my havelock just happens to get hacked when all my other accounts are just fine.
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can a hacker access accounts with 2FA GAuth? on: February 21, 2015, 06:42:27 AM
Where you keep your private key for 2FA?
What device you use to generate the 2FA - is that virus free too?
Were your computer and 2FA device virus free when you enabled 2FA?

These are some problems to think about. If all this don't lead to a possible backdoor, then the only solution remaining would be a fraud from the website where you had the money.
My private key would be on my Android phone.  The phone is running AOSP and there are just but a few games on there and some Apps I use for day to day.  I don't really see my phone getting infected.
My computer was virus free.  I really can't see myself getting a virus and I do not install malware on my computer.

I don't think I'll trust havelock anymore.  They stopped replying to my E-mails, so I don't think they have any plans of returning my coins.
3  Economy / Service Discussion / Can a hacker access accounts with 2FA GAuth? on: February 20, 2015, 02:11:32 AM
Can someone explain to me, how a hacker would attain an account on a website that is protected by 2FA with Google Authentication?

My havelock investments account was hacked.  I have 2FA authentication enabled, and yet, it was nothing to them.  How is this possible?

Also, my computer is virus free.  I don't download suspicious files and I definitely don't run them.  I would consider myself technologicaly savvy, especially enough not to be infected with something malicious.
Of course, after this happened, I scanned my whole computer with MBAM, ADwCleaner, and Avast.  They found nothing, nothing at all.

I've been hacked!  I had Gauth enabled, how could anyone else login?  Someone logged in and sold my 2.3k shares and withdrew 1.8 BTC!

check your computer for malware, suppose there is a malware in your computer, bad day for you mate, perhaps you should track the transaction, where does it lead to
I, not to be egotistical, find that it's practically impossible for me to be infected with any malicious programs.  I haven't been infected with a virus for a good 10+ years now, and I certainly don't plan to break it today.  An 8 Alphanumeric character password combined with Google Authentication should have protected me.  How is it possible for a hacker to just destroy authentication?
Also, it leads here

7  Bitcoin / Mining support / Dead cointerra miner? on: July 28, 2014, 02:05:36 AM
Hello, I have a 1.6TH/S miner that started to have some problems after a thunderstorm hit.  My switch that the cointerra miner was connected to was destroyed, and it seems like one of my router ports went out afterwards as well.  The teraminer still turns on, but I can't connect to the configuration page and it isn't mining at all.  It also doesn't show up on my router, what can I try?

So, I have some huge SQL, PHP, and HTML experience and yet I'm pretty clueless on a couple of things relating to storing the catcoins, generating addresses so people can deposit, and sending coins out.  Can any devs shed some light?  How would PHP be able to read the amount of coins received?  How can I integrate catcoin into a website?

11  Bitcoin / Mining support / Bitminter problem on: August 14, 2013, 04:11:07 AM

Using CGminer 3.3.3, bitminter pool, Jalapeno, Windows 8 64-bit
cgminer -o stratum+tcp://mint.bitminter.com:3333 -u -username- -p -pass- -d 2

Works with Slush's pool.  Just not Bitminter.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Am I doing something wrong here? Stratum + Slush's pool on: August 01, 2013, 10:36:20 AM

Definitely not working...

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Litecoin miner and mining pool on: April 10, 2013, 01:43:52 PM
because the averaging period for your pool is longer than your miner
It's showing the average?  I don't get that the miner would show 600-700 when the pool would show 100-200.  Even leaving it on overnight, it doesn't change.  The pool hashrate just stays low.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Litecoin miner and mining pool on: April 07, 2013, 11:59:22 PM
As I mine with my GPU, CGMiner shows I'm mining at 500-600KH/s.  When I check the pool, it's showing around half of that.  Around 200-300KH/s.  Is there a certain reason for that?
16  Bitcoin / Mining support / CGMiner 2.10.4 Problems on: January 14, 2013, 06:58:51 AM
CGMiner 2.10.4 has frequently crashed.
I keep getting an error saying "Error -1: Getting Device IDs <num>" yet it still just uses my 7950 to mine.
Nothing has changed except the CGminer.

Here is my usual script
Code:
cgminer -o http://mint.bitminter.com:8332 -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD --intensity 14 -g 3 --worksize 256 -v 1

I don't remember what error I usually get when it has crashed, but I'll attach a picture when I see it next time.

Damn, and I just got my brand new 7950...although I got it for gaming.  I only do mining on the side when I don't use my computer.
Gets me about $50 extra a month....yay  Roll Eyes
18  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: 79xx Performance with 12.11 drivers? on: November 07, 2012, 02:29:20 AM
The 12.11 made my 7950 from 620MH/s to 550-600 AND it was completely unstable and my screen was filled with artifacts.
Back to 12.8 for me until it's stable.
19  Economy / Economics / If the bitcoin limit is reached. on: July 10, 2011, 04:43:46 AM
Won't the price for bitcoins become higher and higher?
I know it's going to take a while for it to reach the max, but when it does, what do you expect of the price?
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Which 6970 should I go with? on: June 27, 2011, 06:43:49 AM
I'm wondering which 6970 GPU I should go with?
HIS?  MSI?  Sapphire?  Gigabyte?
I'm going to buy 2 of them, which card will overclock the best/produce more bitcoins?

I might get 2 of these.
