Could somebody explain the round progress to me?

It is showing over 500% completion but i can't seem to find information on it or what that means exactly. Is a round completion when a block is finally solved and the percentage is just an estimate based on the average time it takes to complete a block?

Thanks!

Baikal contacted me a couple days ago to confirm shipping details for my Giant-B order, "As it is getting closer to the shipping date, I am here writing to you for double checking your delivery details."

I already have these extra NIB PSUs on hand not being used, so my plan is as follows:
EVGA 1200W P2 (6 VGA power outputs) for Giant-B x2.
and/or
EVGA 1600W T2 (9 VGA power outputs) for up to Giant-B x3.

Will require 3 VGA power cables for each Giant-B since EVGA includes a bunch of 8-pin from PSU to 2+6-pin w/ 6-pin cables.

I'm a little confused. Giant-B requires 6x 12V 6Pin connector = 36 total pins. if you only use 3x 8 pin VGAs = 32 total pins per unit. How is that equivalent?

What wallets do you recommend for mining? i'm not a fan of keeping stuff on an exchange but would mining to an exchange wallet (via awesomeminer) and then buying what i want then transferring to cold storage be a good strategy? Nicehash seems to be underpaying for the hashing power through fees. I heard not to mine to nano s ledgers because they have issues dealing with large volumes of smaller transactions. I'd like to hear some safe wallet solutions for miners that other people utilize.

EDIT: I'm talking about for a variety of miners GPU, S9, D3, L3+, Giant X10 etc... Not just GPU.

Does anybody have a suggestion on what power supply to use? Giant-B uses about 3-400 watts of power but requires 6x 6-pin connectors. An awp3++ should have the power to run 3 of them but there aren't enough 6-pin connectors to go around. How are people running Giant x10, any suggestions for PSUs on a 220v 30 amp breaker?

Just wanted to update everybody that Baikal contacted me with payment confirmation. They were probably very backed up because of all the emails flooding their account so give them time. Orders for the next batch haven't been announced yet so you may have to go through a third party reseller until they start accepting more orders.

Hi everyone, we made an overview of all coins that can be mined with the Baikal Giant-B
https://cryptodelver.com/asic/baikal-giant-b

If you know any other coins for this ASIC please let me know  Cheesy

Very cool. Any way you can add in the 24 hour whattomine.com revenue for each coin at the Giant-Bs hashing rate? That would be my only request.

Hello all,
Are some people interested to organize a group by of 15 or 20 units (in case they raise the minimum amount of units to be ordered in the next batch) to be prepared next time baikalshop is ready to accept orders again (on baikaminer.com)?
I just need to be confirmed the payment is made by wire transfer in USD. Can some people who order confirm to me it is the case. Also if I have a bank account in Euro, do they accept the wire transfer of the equivalent amount in Euro (in other words do the banks do the conversion through the wire transfer from a euro account to a us dollar account)?
We are two people from France interested but we barely get enough money to get 2 and ITOP and Bittawmart are out of sale already to order only one or two units.
I could organize the group buy but Im new to the forum and dont have references. It would be better if we had an organizer who is already trusted on the forum. Anyone up for this?
Best,
kr1p

Probably better of posting that in the group buy thread. Yeah, the payment he requests is a USD wire.

Has anyone ordered one of these in the last couple days?
Emailed them three days ago and they said they were not taking orders

I had my order locked in before Christmas but sent a wire on January 3rd (between the Jan-1st and Jan-5th payment window) and haven't gotten a confirmation from him yet. Starting to worry a bit. Hoping he confirms within the next day or two.

Did you order the six minimum ?  I asked about an order during the same time period .  They told me min of six @$3600 plus shipping .  The next day I asked for the total with shipping to Texas and they were already sold.   Oh , well it would have takin' a few weeks to raise the money anyways.

Yeah, i was confirmed an order of 6 and he gave me a time period to complete the wire. Just trying to wait patiently for him to verify the payment so i can relax a bit. I'll give an update when he confirms to help ease the nerves of other people in a similar situation.

Wow, 18k USD.  Cheesy

That is a crazy ass price.

I have "a few" ordered..... I am so tempted to part ways with them at 17,999.99 USD$

Did you receive any type of confirmation email after wiring USD? Were you instructed to send to the Baikal Holdings Limited address as well?
Just wanted to make sure i did everything correctly because i haven't heard back yet and this is my first time ordering from Baikal.
