1  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC is a roller coaster on: January 24, 2018, 05:51:55 PM
Just received reminder bitcoin dropped a lot, the price of the last week is very unstable, leading to other competing currencies continued to fall, there is no bottom line of that kind of fall, I would like to ask you tycoons on how to look at the future market?

That’s what makes bitcoin interesting for me, or maybe for other people too. It’s volatility and unpredictability is the thrill in this “rollercoaster”

Just hold on your coins. Future is bright
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who's next to go to the Moon? on: January 23, 2018, 08:43:46 PM
I have a feeling many Altcoins will recover in due time, maybe a month or so.. and at that time, what Alts do you think will grow the most against BTC (not against fiat) ?

I like DCR, VTC, XVG, OMG, ZRX, VIB, SC and LTC/ETH (usual suspects).  News about VIB being added to some major exchanges, makes me think this one can Moon..

Personally, ETH has a high potential this year. It has already reached the $1000 mark and it is still goin up.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: Which crypto-currency do you prefer? on: January 23, 2018, 08:39:21 PM
Well you should study crypto currency each blockchain in that you can consider a coin will be to the moon, and I think that you should not only focus on one or two coin for long term investment, I suggest ethereum, xrp this next coin after bitcoin has the capability to make it's value more higher in just a matter of time, but all in all you should do it wisely and firmly.
I agree. Sticking to one crypto currency is risky. You need to have back ups. Educating your self with these different type of crypto currencies is a must if you really want to earn money. Each coin has potential to grow.
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to do with my bitcoin? on: January 19, 2018, 02:37:55 AM
Everyone has their own expertise. Some are good at reading and doing research on projects probably for ICOs, some are good at day trading, some are good at  long term trades, etc. Research on all of them. Choose the one that best fits your current knowledge and what you prefer doing.

I went to write a reply to this post, but mjglqw has summed it up perfectly.

Find what suits not only your skillset, but also your lifestyle. Do you have time to day trade? Do you want to find a project, invest, and sit on it for months/years?

Find your niche and stick to it.

Good luck out there!

-Knightly
Thank you so much.  Where can I read threads about ICO’s?

This really helps a lot! I have a last question though. Personally what do you prefer between trading and investing?
6  Other / Beginners & Help / What to do with my bitcoin? on: January 19, 2018, 02:23:43 AM
I don’t know if this is the correct discussion board to post this.

I already earned some bitcoin (around $300). Should I educate my self with trading and engage on it, should I try investing on projects? Or should I just hold it for now? I just need some tips from the experts. Thank you so much!
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many ways are there that we can earn Bitcoin? on: January 19, 2018, 02:05:44 AM

8  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of Bitcoin ? on: January 16, 2018, 05:04:56 PM
According to different Statistics the Future of this virtual currency is so much brighter than others currency and people will find very easy to deal with every thing through bitcoin. some Reasons are really very fruitful for economical development such as
1.In future buying bitcoin is more easier than past condition  ad people can complete so many task very easily.
2.most of company use bitcoin as a local currency that helps to regulate bitcoin like regular currency and more company will interest for using this currency(bitcoin)
3.international client are more visible if this currency will use globally.
4.in future if government use the protocol then cyrpto-currency will protected and people feel safe for using this currency.

I agree that the future of bitcoin is brighter than any other crypto currency out there. I think the government will not fully acknowledge the use of bitcoin because it will interfere with their power in the society. I think right now getting bitcoin in the government is a cloudy thought.
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: What causes suicidal thoughts? on: January 13, 2018, 12:24:43 PM
Why do you think people have suicidal thoughts? Is it reasonable to result to potentially killing oneself to be able to remove the pain a person is suffering from? What are your thoughts about this matter, is it acceptable or not? Why does a person result to thinking of suicide? How can you help the person to change His/Her mind?
stress, anxiety, depression is what comes in to my mind when someone has suicidal thoughts. they were probably abused in the past or in a difficult time in their life at the moment.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people sell bitcoins? on: January 13, 2018, 12:13:15 PM
Worldwide, especially in my place, must sell it for profit rather than always keep it!
The government always forbids the use and play bitcoin so that it can not grow fully potential in my place. Surely it remains an advantage if there is a transaction rotation for bitcoin in my country to live.
basically, bitcoin is banned in your country? you better stay low with the bitcoins! might get you in trouble.

People sell bitcoin because its an investment and that what it's suppose to do.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to invest in cryptos if you're old? on: January 12, 2018, 05:22:36 PM
What would you guys advise someone who is retired, living off pension and savings? Is it too late/risky to invest at that kind of age?
Do you guys think the elderly have a chance of jumping on the crypto train, or do you guys think it's too late for them to invest?

It’s never to late to invest in something you know that is profitable. Although crypto world is very hard to understand it is worth every penny.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: January 12, 2018, 12:32:58 AM
I think it is.

Bitcoin use adoption has stalled. Media interest has dissipated. Prices have only slowly continued to decline for a long time now. Bitcoin securities have always been and still are a complete mess, with a near 100% failure (scam/fraud/incompetence/etc) rate. Mining has been concentrated in the hands of a few giant players, eliminating much of the advantage/security/democracy of thousands of individuals being the money processors. Alternative forms of online payment with US dollars (and other fiat currencies) are now cheaper, faster, and more secure than bitcoin (and of course far more usable to buy/sell real goods/services), eliminating any of its advantages as a payment system. Continued decline of bitcoin and strength in fiat currencies has put the lie to the idea of bitcoin as a store of value; there are far better more reliable hedges against inflation. Meanwhile the real economy is firing on all cylinders, stock markets are at all time highs, corporate earnings are higher than ever, unemployment is low, etc. Even amid the boom, no one cares about bitcoin any more. Bitcoin was a fad that lasted a few years, and is now on its way to being forgotten.

Thoughts? Anyone seriously disagree with this conclusion?
Bitcoin have a stability problem and we all know that. That doesn’t mean that bitcoin is dying. Bitcoin is rising and still boomin. Bitcoin can possibly become the future.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: January 11, 2018, 07:46:30 PM
I recently paid for some local tacos using Bitcoin. My friend who was unfamilar with Bitcoin thought it was strange, like I technically didn't pay for them or something. We got into discussing Bitcoin and one of the questions he asked me was:
"Why would you want Bitcoins instead of cash?". For a second I didn't know what to say; then I thought about it and here is what I came up with. Feel free to contribute to this.
-snip-
Don't mind your friend. The majority  of humans are ignorant sheeps that have no mind of their own. They can not think outside of the set up rules, and it will be very hard for them to realize how good Bitcoin is and all its potential. I've encountered this on several ocassions and it pretty much happens with technology as well.

You should get yourself very well informed about the situation in Greece and the one in Cyprus last year. Then you could explain to him how the government would have not be able to steal the peoples money if they had been using Bitcoin before it happened.
I think his friend was just curious about Bitcoin. Although some humans are really ignorant. The situation in his story is different. His friend was just unfamiliar with bitcoin.

What happened in Greece was horrible. People should educate themselves more. It’s the governments fault in what happened In their country but people should always think. Educating people and stopping them from being ignorant is the only way for this situation.

I’m newbie here... What’s the best way to earn Bitcoin? I need assistance please. Thank you.
Faucets are the easiest way. Gambling is risky. Mining is expensive. For a normal people like me campaigns are the best.

1) More security (especially if you are careful).

2) Bitcoins are a potential investment, cash is not. Paper currency only really goes down in value, Bitcoins have a lot of potential to be worth more as time goes on.

3) Fast, worldwide transactions at your fingertips.

4) Similar to #3, but it's a universal currency. It's legal in most countries of the world and you don't need any kind of currency conversion to send money to people in a different country than your own.
Totally agree with this. Also you can bring it everywhere without being scared of being rob. It is a universal currency. It’s legal and it just gives us more security.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money 💰💰💰 on: January 11, 2018, 06:11:52 AM
Money is one of our most important part in our life and we all work for money. I accept that money can buy a house, car, dresses and all things which we need in our day today life. But can money bring us true happiness???

A small incident which is making me feel if Money is the only thing we need in life. One of my cousin is married and have 2 kids and the younger one is just a year old. They are planning to leave their kids with their parents and go to a foreign country to earn more money. I cant imagine if both of them can be happy without seeing their kids or money has made them to take this decision. Do you think its a right decision?Huh

Also,Why is money so important in our life?
Money is really important. I don’t want to sound like a hypocrite and say money is not important. Money just makes everything easier in our life.

It depends on what is your definition of true happiness. Is your true happiness the material things in life?

Although it’s selfish not to think of their child. They just want to give the best for their child.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: DON'T DO PANIC SELLING !!! on: January 10, 2018, 10:15:56 PM
Hey everyone Smiley

finally the price of bitcoins is increasing and was becoming more stable but ! Its price is again decreasing now... You know it will be very nice if you guys instead of dumping them hold on to them...
Dumping the bitcoins in panic because of the fear of the price never reaching this high value in future.. does affects the price of bitcoins in a very bad way!
Yes some people get profit form it but!!!it decrease your future chances of earning even more higher profit... And so does for everyone else...

some people are just panicking because they think bitcoin is gonna go straight down. though the price is not stable it is somewhat a good sign because it also has a big chance of increasing  Cheesy
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Drug free in the Philippines on: January 10, 2018, 07:48:35 PM
Can the president of the Philippines can do it. Well I like what his doing in his campaign. It is very amazing program and very work program in the country. Many were discipline now because of him.
Everyone is terrified of his iron hands. Crime rate has drastically went down. He might not finish what he promised. Which is to eliminate all drug related crimes but he sure did a lot for our country. There are a lot of things he did wrong as a human. He only did it because criminals gave him no choice. They weren’t stopping and so did he.

20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you eat a human? on: January 10, 2018, 01:58:24 PM
What if it was the sacrificed child of your enemy? What if it gave you secret powers? What if it held the key to world domination? Would you do it? Would you eat another person?
Never, Although study says it just tastes like some animal meat like a chicken or cow. It’s unhealthy because it probably has viruses and diseases in it. I’d rather die trying to survive   Cheesy
