can this work for only bitcoin or altcoins as well?
At the moment it works with bitcoin, but can be easily adapted for work with any altcoin. Now you have a bitcoin config file when is contained the bitcoin server IP and port, rpc user and password. You can change it or duplicate the file for another currency, obviously you must change all themes files, add the double price in each cryptocurrency and some other things. Is not much difficult! |

I have been told by other folks that they have bought this script, and that it is not complete, and some functions are not finished.
Do you have a completed demo site available?
The script is finished in all buy, escrow, and auction functions. Only some extra features of PhpProBid are not merged with the bitcoin system. You don't need these features for run the scrypt and are so much confusionary. |

--------- ENGLISH --------- Is for sale a platform for online auctions websites based on Bitcoin transactions. Users can register and buy/sell items under Escrow supervision. You’ll be able to collect fees for each item sold and for optional services. Platform is based on PhpProBid 6.11, completely revised and redesigned to work exclusively with Bitcoin transactions without any support from a third party server/exchange. To start website you’ll need a Linux server or a VPS (Virtual Private Server) where you are going to install LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Php) and Bitcoin server to manage user’s wallets and Escrow system. FEATURES- To avoid need of external servers like Blockchain, Coinbase, etc., Bitcoin server will handle all transactions, like collected fees on sold items, Escrow system, and wallets of each single user. At moment of registrarion will be assigned a new address automatically generated in which users will have to fund before carrying out each purchase.

- The default condigured currencies are EUR, USD, GBP, throughout which it will be possible to choose the price of the object to sell. - All transactions are supervised by internal Escrow system we have integrated. When a user buys and pays an item, Bitcoin will be transferred from his user address to escrow's central one. The transaction will be added in administration panel pending users approval. Once the user receive the item, will have to click "Item Delivered" button, subsequently the administrator will have to confirm further the closing of the exchange. Bitcoin will be transferred from Escrow to seller address minus fees percentages.

Si può anche scegliere il prezzo fisso in bitcoin che non sarà soggetto alle variazioni di valuta.
- Tutte le transazioni sono supervisionate dal sistema di escrow che abbiamo integrato. Quando un utente compra e paga un oggetto, i bitcoin verranno trasferiti dal suo indirizzo utente a quello centrale dell’escrow. Verrà aggiunta nel pannello di amministrazione la transazione in attesa di essere confermata dall’utente. Una volta che l’utente avrà ricevuto l’oggetto acquistato dovrà cliccare Oggetto Ricevuto, successivamente l’amministratore dovrà confermare ulteriormente la chiusura dello scambio. I bitcoin verranno trasferiti dall’escrow all’indirizzo utente del venditore meno la percentuale di commissioni su oggetto venduto scelta.

The "Create Password" field must be have between 6 and 18 characters And that is (at least) the second service just using the exact same CMS for such service. I doubt the code was reviewed for this. Did you mean the limit of 18 characters? We can update the limit! Thanks for advice! Seems promising. Although, you have a lot of competition and you may want to consider to advertise and getting others to advertise for you. There has been at least 5 new Bitcoin marketplaces up and running since the closure of bitmit.

Why are you announcing your "service" before you've figured out one of the most essential components? See here. We have just added SSL to login, registration, member area, payment process and several other pages. All credentials are encrypted in AES-128. We are still re-designing the main page of member area, when you can see your current balance and deposit or withdraw funds. |

Now passwords are stored in a database with two-factor authentication for login and encrypted in MD5. Don't you think that is kinda outdated for some years already?! Please update to some actual algo, rotate and salt it wisely. We are working to implement SSL on login, registration, members area, auction and payment pages. |
