Has anyone tried replacing the heatsinks on these yet?

I have a slightly lower profile (by about 2mm, but with a greater surface area) heat sink which I used with overclocked block erupters that I'm fairly convinced will allow them to sit in the Anker/Tecknet hub ports without the inductors (L2) touching the neighbouring heatsink, that way I can get 10 units in the hub instead of 5!

Just curious if anyone tried this and whether they had any problems (didn't mind experimenting with the BEs so much but these are 6-7 times the value).

Looks like the existing heat sink is held on with some 3M thermal tape that I'm probably going to end up using a precision blade to remove...

Ok, so if your name is in green in the original post then its been sent, and I can provide the tracking number shortly. Unfortunately though some of the packages missed today's last post collection as it was taking so long to process the post lady told me.

Everything not in green will be sent first thing tomorrow.

 Undecided

also, sent you a pm...

Another point would be that people now already have theirs to sell or to hash with and also got compensation, yet ours still haven't arrived and we're still expected to have the same amount of compensation. That seems very wrong to me.

Have to agree with the above; if the shipments were to be staggered due to a lower fabrication capacity than expected then all group buys should've been fulfilled proportionately, rather than leaving the UK GB to last with minimal fulfilment (and leaving it to first come first serve at the reseller level).

And if this wasn't the case due to logistical issues (customs, etc.) then the compensation should've been weighted more towards those receiving their units last and less towards those that receive first.

As soon as a BlueFury USB Miner is ready, you can be sure that Beastlymac will be posting pictures of them on this forum.

Speaking of which he just did.

In order to be able to participate in the discussions on other forums I thought I'd write an introduction..

I started out in mining briefly at the end of 2012 and recently began mining again, I'm interested in hardware in general and have been an ITPro for over 6 years in the UK.

I'm also an avid RPi enthusiast and currently have 6 Pi doing/controlling various functions at any one time, one of which is a [hobby] farm of ASIC USB miners, and I'm currently working on a dashboard display for the mining Pi to display cgminer stats, current exchange prices, etc. in a more attractive form than the terminal output of cgminer Smiley
