1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Found old .dat files, how do I open then into wallets? on: February 01, 2018, 11:39:53 AM
Well first you must know from which coins are those .dat files. If you know for sure then download their wallets and open it from the official wallet of the coin.
It's most secure to do that from the official wallets only.
Of course you can do that in the top right menu FILE -> OPEN and find the .dat file where you have saved it and open it.

But again, you must know from which coin is that .dat file or you won't be able to open it Smiley
cheers*

I downloaded the wallets and opened the old dat files fine. It turns out most of them were empty, except for 2 Aurora coins. So I'm definatly not rich! Worth having a look though.

Thanks for your help Smiley
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Found old .dat files, how do I open then into wallets? on: January 31, 2018, 10:11:47 PM
Help!

I managed to find some wallet .dat files on my comp that I thought were lost and gone forever! The trouble is I don't know what to do to open them into a wallet. I had been clearing stuff out of my comp years ago and deleted the wallets (I'd bought the coins with my now ex and I was kinda deleting anything to do with him- stupid but true).

I'm guessing to start with I have to download the wallets again, but after that I really don't know. How do I get the wallet to use the old dat file rather than the new one?

I've got a few different coins, so it's gonna take a while to sync everything up.

I have no idea how much I have, could be hardly anything. I'm looking forward to getting into them to have a look.

Thanks for your help
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] SingularityNET: Decentralizing the Future of AI on: January 25, 2018, 11:24:16 PM

What is your source? A Binance listing would be very benefitial for Singularity. They started of great but tthen the market crashed and now it doesn't seem to be able to rise. A major listing would solve that  Cool

Even though, in the long run this project will be worth $10+

No real source, just chatting to people about AGI, that's why I said it's unconfirmed They said it would be the 30th of Jan, but I have no idea where they got that from. It would be good if it went onto one of the big exchanges. The price hasn't crashed as much as alot of ICO's go, it's only dipped because everyone's hodling rather than selling. It will climb the next time SingularityNet announces any interesting news to do with the project.

So fingers crossed it goes to the moon  Smiley

Coin need more exchanges..

It's currently on Tidex, Kucoin, Idex and Etherdelta. I've heard that it might be going on Binance at the end of the month, but havn't seen any confirmations about that.

SingularityNet are not putting it on any exchanges, so if the want to list it they have to choose to do it themselves. They are saying it is a "utility token" rather than a currency, so them putting it onto exchanges would not look good. They seem to be working really hard to be doing this all by the book, so there's noting to get in trouble for later on. Which is great cos it means that it is for long term investment, not just a random coin designed to make money then crash.  Smiley

Very very nice indeed...I especially like the fox. These are crayon drawn?

Curious, do you take commissions too?

Thanks. Yer they're crayon, but in the arty world we saw "coloured pencils", cos it sounds better Smiley

Yer I take commissions. You'd have to let me know what sort of thing you were thinking of, size and details like that and we can work out a price. I enjoy doing commissions cos it sometimes challanges me to do something different.
6  Economy / Goods / Re: Beautiful Origional Artwork for Sale on: January 19, 2018, 11:18:32 AM
Make me an offer if you see something you like. I am open to haggeling the price of my artwork, especially if it's going to someone who love it Smiley
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: AGI token for SALE on: January 17, 2018, 11:07:28 AM
This ICOed for 0,1 USD and you want to sell pre launch for 15 pounds? did i get this right?
The highest price buy order on Tidex so far is 0.0205 BTC which is about £150 at the moment, so I'm selling them way under the price that they could go for. These token are really sought after from a great company with the potentical to go really high.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Storing Cryptocurrencies on Exchanges on: January 16, 2018, 06:41:16 PM
Cryptsy taught me that keeping anything more than a few quid to play with on an exchange is foolish.

Expensive lesson, but oh well.

Yer, I unfortunatly learnt that expencive lesson. Not keeping my coins on any exhanges, too risky to keep anything that your not trading with on them.

Hey

You still got some tokens?? I would like to buy a small amount

Send me a PM so then I can give you all the info you need to be able to buy some of the AGI tokens.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: AGI token for SALE on: January 15, 2018, 10:46:02 AM
Wait for access to the rating exchanges, the price will simply soar to the moon. If you are so impatient to sell, then you can sell through Etherdelta

Just waiting for them to finish the audit so that the AGI tokens can be moved. Can't sell anything if no one can move them!
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: AGI token for SALE on: January 15, 2018, 10:44:33 AM
Hello Smiley
I'm interested in buying some AGI tokens... it it still possible?
Thx

Yer, I've still got some. They've changed how PM's work here so you have to go into your settings and switch on recive messages from Newbies (I'm nearly not a newbie, but not quite there yet.

I can recive them, so send me a message and I will give you all the details.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] SingularityNET: Decentralizing the Future of AI on: January 15, 2018, 10:32:28 AM

Thanks for any help, really wish there was more communicatinon, this is driving me nuts!
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people says gold is better? on: January 14, 2018, 10:43:32 AM
Gold is concidered better for a few reason, most of which have been said here, but there's a few interesting ones that (as far as I've read 'cos this is a long thread) have been missed.

When the stock markets fall, gold goes up. So when fiat wobbles it's reliable and will gain value. Rich people have gold as insurance for if their stocks crash.

But the really interesting one is that you don't pay tax on gold! (In the UK anyway). It's the best tax fiddle, esspecially as usually only the rich can use this to avoid paying taxes. Want to leave your family a big pile of money but get out of paying inheritance tax? Give them gold. Want to get out of paying tax for something you've sold? Sell it for gold.

Who's heard of the "Golden Rule"? What it really means is, he who has the gold makes the rules!
16  Economy / Exchanges / Re: TIDEX:Bitcoin and Altcoin exchange on: January 13, 2018, 07:50:09 PM
Hi Tidex,

Really excited that you have AGI listed. Do you have any idea when SingularityNet will un-freeze the tokens so I can move some to your exchange? Given the huge ammount of buy orders that you have there for AGI already I really want to sell some, but havn't heard much news about whats going on with it all.

Looking farward to trading with you Smiley
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Tidex Exchange, want some advice, can it be trusted? on: January 13, 2018, 05:43:29 PM
Hi, I've never used Tidex before and don't know anything about it. They have listed the AGI coins that I want to sell some of when they are unfrozen, but I want to know more about the exchange before I do anything on there. There's been so many scams with exchanges that I have trouble trusting them (I had about 2.5 bitcoin worth of coins stollen from cryptsy).

Are there any withdrawall limits? How quick are their deposits/withdrawalls? Has anyone been scammed with this site?

Thanks for any info you guys can give me Smiley
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] SingularityNET: Decentralizing the Future of AI on: January 13, 2018, 04:33:47 PM
Has anyone heard any news about what exchanges AGI will be relaesed onto? Tidex says it will be listed on there on Monday, but don't know what sort of time yet. There's over $500,000 of buy orders for the coins on there already, so as soon as anyone can move them they're gonna go nuts! I'm looking forward to selling a few of them, but I'm looking forward to hodling them even more. So exciting, can't wait to see what it does!
19  Economy / Goods / Re: Beautiful Origional Artwork for Sale on: January 12, 2018, 08:06:57 PM
WOOOWW!! GREAT ARTWORKS! Im also an artist here in the Philippines but can I know how can you deliver these Artworks from buyers who are residing in other countries? Because Im also planning to sell my Artworks here In forum in exchange for Bitcoin or Ethereum

Not really a complicated plan for me, I'd just take it to the post office and ask them to send it for me. Depending on where I had to send things to I might look for cheaper postage services, but the post office is usually alright.

All these works are on paper, so they just go in a cardboard tube, so they don't weigh much. If I was sending canvas or paintings on wood then it'd be more expencive. That's why I can offer free postage on these, cos they are light.

You'll have to look around at what postal services are near you and how much things cost. It's worked out on size and weight usually.

Good luck with your artwork, loking forward to seeing it Smiley
20  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie PM opt-in on: January 11, 2018, 08:53:13 PM
I just made it so that everyone who has sent a PM to a newbie in the last 30 days is already "opted in". Does that fix your issue?

Thanks, that works.

It is a great idea blocking newbies, was just a bit of a supprise. I don't know how many spam pm's you guys get cos I'm still a newbie so I dont get any, but I'm guessing that it's a really annoying problem. Think many people will be relieved that they can switch off to them.
